We stand with Canada we know our new administration doesn’t care about us they are only concerned about the wealthy

Mr. Prime Minister Trudeau, my heart is filled with such adoration. Spoken so concise and eloquently as a leader, yet remaining respectful. Thank you for standing up for our soverenty as an independent nation (not a 51st state) and us as Canadians will stand together with you through this unnecessary tumultuous storm. Canada uses technology and forward thinking to protect their border. The US is decades behind border control and instead hang on building a border wall. A wall. A wall that has proven time and again to be ineffective and costly to build and maintain. Trump is a dinosaur and an autocrat that has brought America to its knees. Americans will not stand for it. This is temporary.

Canada will be fine! It's the Americans that will be tariffed by many countries by the time the lunatic is done. He will burn that country to the ground. We'll see who's still standing! I'm not all that worried because besides food, which we've easily replaced what do we get from the US? Nothing we can't get elsewhere. However, the US needs our resources. as a Canadian, all I can say is Trump has galvanized our nation not to take up arms, but not to ever capitulate to a bully. But I especially appreciate seeing all the people from around the world are standing with us, and that also includes americans that are equally upset by their president’s behavior.

Canada is awesome except for the fact that Canada (and the liberals in the US) are against ending the fighting between Ukraine and Russia. They would rather 'stand with Ukraine' until all the Ukrainians are deceased!

As a 60 years old french Canadian I have all the reason to not love Trudeau, because he remind me how his father treated us, never vote for him, but today I saw a men (finally) standing up and take the lead for our country. Yes Canada is still my country and I like the way he directly adress to your president. I have so many American friends on both side( D and R ) and I hope they understand that what he said is not directly apply to United State citizen, wake up America before it s to late.

The majority of US citizens stand with Canada, Ukraine and Europe. We are experiencing a coup and have been betrayed by all 3 branches of our government. We don’t even know if our own military would defend us or attack us with trump as commander in chief. This is how a leader should speak. He speaks with sincerity and with clarity. He doesnt speak broadly just to an entire audience. He speaks to each group of people that this is concerning to, and making sure we understand the magnitude of this situation. He adjusts how he speak to each group, and also to our sad president. Thats the vibe of the message he was giving me. Many different types of languages and emotions are spoken at the same time.\n\nI love our country, but I do not agree with how our currents presidents policies, changes, and tear down of our government/agencies in just 2 months. I cant imagine the months to come. People are already struggling, and are divided so much more that Americans are not siding with each other, but siding with Canada and Mexico who have been so patient and understanding with us. We need to stand up against our president to stop this isolation and division. We are already divided in our country. I can't stand to see we are starting to be divided globally. This will litterally shrink our economy and our opportunities. Not only that, it puts our national security in peril. We need to do better to work together in harmony.
