Ok I have a question. Right now the unemployment rate is 4.1%, if 12M illegal immigrants get deported, who largely work in food processing, constructions, and healthcare support, who is going to take those jobs? We have 7M unemployed and if we deport 12M, that's 5M jobs at a minimum that will no longer be filled. You think food costs a lot now, what happens to the cost of food without them? Or the cost of building new housing, it certainly won't go down? Or the cost of taking care of granny in the old folks home, is she coming home to the family to provide round the clock care?

Bit of a side note, but Latin American birth rates have dipped so low in recent years (Mexico's is now lower than that of the US), that long-term migration from Latin America will probably decrease, because young adults are the prime migrators. This is especially true given Venezuela and El Salvador will probably shrink as source countries (Venezuela because it literally had so much emigration already, that everyone who would leave, has left, El Salvador because of the recent improvements in its security situation). I'd also expect to see some Latin Americans head for Guyana instead given its oil boom. \n\nFor context, it's not actually out of the realm of current UN projections that Latin America and the Caribbean as a whole will go from having about 2x the population of the US at the moment, to it being about 1:1 by the end of the century. \n\nThat said, this could also all be counter-acted by the economic hardship aging populations in the region would bring.

Since the Canadian government thinks we Canadians born in Canada are all criminals, without a trial in a court of law to determine this, the Canadian government wants to replace us all with brown immigrants mostly from Iran. When the Corporate Rate gets reduced from 28% to 15%, the price of commodities/goods on corporate owned shelves will go down 46.428571% but not mom and pop shops b/c mom and pop shops ain't got nothing and Big Business just about has it all. Immigrants, both documented and undocumented, commit crimes at a lower rate than natural-born US citizens. That is a statistically proven fact, and it makes sense considering that if we speed, we could get a ticket. If they speed, they might get deported. That's a fine to pay versus a potential death sentence... most people who immigrate here are trying to escape the very things they get accused of doing. Look, I'm not saying that people coming in illegally is a good thing, that every one of them has good intentions, or that border security is acceptable as it is. I just wish we put this much attention on those at the top of the income chain committing white-collar crime instead of something like this and fix the immigration situation without policies that will flip our already jacked up economy upside down for the sake of votes.

I’m a Canadian citizen. I married a Jewish African woman. And helped her get her citizenship after we got married here in Canada. Then we stood outside in the -20 degrees c freezing cold in a long lineup of good people trying to get their citizenships like my wife, all legally obeying the laws of Canada. I’m white so it doesn’t mater our skin color or religion. Its about love and respect to the laws of our country. What I was talking about before is we here in Canada have been suffering from over taxation, extremely high rental rates, high food costs, greatly reduced medical care (My Mom died recently from lack of proper med care resources). They put her lonely dying body in the hallway where she was robbed of her cell phones, money, food and respect. Due to migrants and illegal immigrants overloading the beds and rooms pouring in from other countries. they drained our existing medical system resources and much more. Drug addicts who overdosed on Fentanyl they take first and push all other patients aside. Doctors take them first before helping a dying mother, father, brother or sister, infant and children pushed aside to save a drug addicts life first. I have been told many times this is also do to them taking care of the pouring in migrants and illegal immigrants using it all up. Where is love and justice? Mexico #1 form of legal GDP is the money that legal and illegal immigrants send back to Mexico that money never returns to the USA economy. They also affect supply and demand. So things cost more because there is a higer demand with less supplies and thats simply based on population. I voted Blue , but things like this is why Democrats lose the election.
