I don't think Canada ever lied. Unlike the USA Canada does not play around. We welcome legal immigrants and bona fide refugees. Unfortunately there is a lot of greyness in what it means to be a bona fide refugee. Perhaps too many people think it means one thing. \n.\nMy heart goes out to all these foreigners wanting to make a life here in Canada - after all I am one of them. The ONLY difference between the guy in the video and me is that I was lucky to have an opportunity to get a degree'd education and was accepted into Canada.

The hate comments on this video are really too many. And as I know most of the foreigners don't watch this channel, I think most of these are butt hurt people who couldn't do anything in their life and are jealous of those in the video. Or some other state people jealous of Punjabis all over the world and completely dominating India. \n\nAnd I give a rats ass about your patriotism if you can't respect other people's choices. that's what we Indians are famous for - not respecting anybody's choices and going on with moral policing. \n\nAnd as for questioning their patriotism, the send more money back to India than you Guys will ever earn in your life. And they are citizens of their country, pay taxes and work hard and are obviously proud of their adopted nation.

I am shocked at the fact there are more dislikes than likes when the CBC provides facts and so many people say they are lies, and others agree! The negative sentiments about refugees and immigrants are getting louder and people are happy to call fellow human beings “them”. They insinuate this is a huge burden, when the fact is we benefit from migration. It seems people think Canada will be over run by people from a foreign land, take all the resources and eliminate people born here, but that’s only happened once, when the British and the French arrived 400 years ago.

White Canadians have mastered the art of racial discrimination while appearing very inclusive and accepting. .....sorry the apartment is already rented is a normal response for the non white prospective renter. The position is already filled ....to the person with the different accent or non European name. Being followed around the store is standard practice..... Shoppers drug mart , Jean Coutou , Best Buy, Bulk Barn , I mean Bulk Barn , with tons of bulk in bins. At the Royal Vic ....a public hospital in Montreal , the non white patient is made to wait for hours as his file for some reason is placed at the bottom of the pile . At a Club in Montreal the non white guy is told that he cannot enter because of his running shoes. His white friends reports later that running shoes were on display at this watering hole. And then there is the not so subtle case of Ketchup squirted on the head of this visible minority kid who was having a beer and minding his own business. I am the person in question . I am non white and I hold a PhD from Mc Gill . I encountered these experiences as a foreign student in 1982. I visited Ottawa last month 2019 .....you guessed it , Bulk barn at Billings bridge profiled me as a danger to the corn flakes bin. Canada is a wonderful country in many respects but it has a side which whites will not normally see because of the pervasiveness of white privileged.

To keep citizens a priority over the influx of immigrants and refugees Denmark had cut welfare benefits to illegal immigrants and refugees and many began leaving to more profitable countries (in benefits). Why has our country not put something like that in place? It definitely would sort out those who came for the 'freebies'.  ~ Denmark's ‘integration benefit'  measure was a significantly lower benefit level being offered to people who have resided in Denmark for less than seven of the past eight years. Foreigners will also receive a financial incentive to learn the language. These were 'integration benefits'. Citizens who have lived outside of the EU (or country?) for seven of the past eight years were also subjected to the new rules. The purpose, to make Denmark a less attractive destination while making it more attractive to work and contribute to Danish society.  It reduced the flow in to a more manageable number.

Yes this is The Tact many of these Foreigners use Victimhood,Sense of Entitlement,Danger,Fear,Emotions and Family! When there are and were those who are and were far more deserving than him and Whoever Regarding Immigration and Citizenship. Also the Fact These Societies are Dominated Through Racial Protocol and Nationalism in the Form of Regulations and Laws Whites Create Often and Descripted in behalf for White People or what is Considered Canadian That will and Shall never Change by Choice any Location where the Caucasoid Reign! I am Imperial God!

How strange is it...If india has corruption then you guys also have responsibility to remove it instead of leaving india...Where ever u r india will always be ur mother land and u shouldn't leave ur mother by saying it has so many problems!! Earning from foreign is good but leaving india ur country is just disgusting

I had no idea that there were so many racists in the world. I thought we would've gotten the message through our head to how we are equal. I love to see foreigners in the U.S. because they moved here for a reason.

Amazes me how many foreigners think they have a RIGHT to come and live in the US....As an illegal alien, you do not have the constitutional rights of US citizens, and you do not have a right to live in the US, but you can surely try and apply...there are no guarantees however

I agree that racism exists in Canada in a subtle form. In my experience people would have more discrimination towards minority with foreign accents. I have heard from other people commenting immigrants 'this person has accent' and to me, it can be perceived negatively. Sometimes I feel I am treated differently because I have accent, especially at working environment. Few years ago I worked in school and my white boss put this on my yearly performance: Your 'emerging' English skills can have negative impact to children's language development. I didn't tell this to anyone but was very disappointed as we are a diversified country with so many immigrants, and this should not come out from an educator's mouth.

many old stock Canadians do not want this in Canada...more foreigners...more people from another planet to get used to....more multi culturism being shoved down our throats...old Canada is slipping away fast...thanx to Justin and others like him who came before. I ask the white liberals ...how much multi culturism is to much?  ive been noticing that wherever I go in Vancouver, to a mall, coffee shop, walking down a busy street iam a mirority. is this good? I give it another 50yrs u will not recognize this country
