It's unfair that students who arrived with substantial fees from their home countries are now being considered refugees. The government should simply refuse their registration without processing their claims. They clearly do not fit the definition of refugees, so why register them and provide them with food, medicine, bus tickets, park passes, and toys for their children? I have lived in the USA all my life. First in New York then in California. Now I am a writer and book illustrator. I enjoyed visiting Canada but as I am a senior I am not welcome to move and live there from more then six months at a time.

I really enjoyed the work culture there and my salary was definitely way better than the one I used to make in Italy. Having an internationally recognised MSc, I felt valued for the first time ever and did not have any issues securing a job. However, the housing crisis was something I was not ready for. Never struggled so much to find a place to rent (and it was not even a big city). Grocery prices were also pretty scary. Canadian taxes were not a problem as Italy has a notoriously high taxation.

Germany needs some types of skilled workers (doctors, nurses, IT engineers, etc.), but they want people who can think like a German for other office jobs. \n\nI am not a huge fan of German culture after living for 13 years but my home country Japan isn´t better for foreigners on many aspects..\n\nGerman taxation system and company cultures in the IT industry are not competitive with the US or Canada. Within Europe, I envy the digitalization of the governmental sectors in the Netherlands.\n\nThe skilled workers who may enjoy living here are the people who love the German culture. My understanding is that that is a minority, most of the foreigners I know in this country are not thrilled with the ´fun´ factor.\n\nThe people from politically unstable countries appreciate the German democracy and rules of law, which I agree with except for the accompanying bureaucracy. Why indians love to migrates western countries . india after its indpendence 75 years still backwards due to corrupt politicians big business families monopoly. I have been hearing this racist rant since I came 53 years ago blaming the immigrants. I have never worked less than 50 hrs a week since coming to Canada and am enjoying my hard-earned retirement. By the way, they have their own medical insurance. There is a shortage of workers, and small businesses can find workers.
