Simple math………\n300 homes/ 10,000 immigrants!!\nWe need to shut down immigration for 5 years. And it’s not climate change. It’s over population……..

the main concept of any foreign govt giving permanent residency is whether you fulfil the need for them, so this is good for people who have some skills and can positively contribute but anyone who just wants to go for the sake of going there is not going to get anything , they better study and then return .. this is nothing different from UK, its very hard to get Tier 2 visa in UK unless your job is in shortage or in the occupation list but the difference is that Canada has been very lenient in the past allowing people clearing just 10 years of schooling also getting student visas, this has not happened in UK as people come to study bachelor's or master when they have completed full 12+ years of schooling in their home country.. may be it was needed then in Canada but now its not the same case..so if govt is taking this step its first in the interest of the local people including the ones who have gained citizenship with proper procedure..

I came to Germany in 2008 to do my Bachelors and later did my masters and working for 10 years now. Got my citizenship 5 years ago. Lets say i have to travel a lot due to my work.. If i move out of Germany, it would be only because of insane tax . I expected even a colder or harsher condition but since my expectation was soo low, it was all good.. At my work place, the working language is only German. I knew that before so it was not a hard time when i was thinking from time to time regarding the difficulty.. \nOne thing and most important thing, Even after getting your citizenship in Germany you are not automatically a German. You are just a paper german ( Even though i dont hold other passport ). I knew this before and it was not hard for me but for many immigrants who become german citizens, they will still be seen as an Ausländer .. Thats the reality which will take another decade to change.

Come back the right way... Its not as simple as going back to Mexico then coming back with legal, valid paperwork. If you're deported, unless there are incredibly special circumstances, you aren't allowed back legally for at least 5 years, often times 10-20+ years, if at all.

Her family have been here for 20 or 30 years illegally because there has been no pathway to become legal. Biden's recent executive order gives them a way, BUT OF COURSE ITS BEEN BLOCKED IN MANY STATES. Requirements include living here for 10 years, paying taxes and no criminal convictions. Now if you do the math they inject about 3.6 Billion dollars every year! Which makes International student one of the top 10 source of revenue for Canada! Stop all immigration until Canada can catch up with health care, housing and employment. Once Canada reaches that goal then allow immigration based on those issues. It makes no sense to go back more than 10 years. Start with those that have felonies, or don’t have a history of working. Work from the present, and go back. Give those that have learned English an easier pathway, but all who have a history of being law-abiding and productive get a pathway to citizenship. It should be difficult, but possible. \nThose that are not law-abiding or productive get sent back. We don’t need more welfare slaves or recidivists. We have plenty. \nOnly full citizens have the privilege of voting. It is NOT a right.

After partition he came to BANGLADESH (East Pakistan), but he never forgot INDIA, whenever there was a match between India-Pakistan or India-Bangladesh he always supported India, when I was 10 years old I curiously asked one day “Nana you live in Bangladesh but why you always supports India”? I am from the Balkans. I have been studying, living and working abroad since I was 18. Germany was the 7th country I moved to and the first country ever I felt unwelcomed at work- because of my Balkan origins. I must say I was rather shocked because being a very open, international professional with lots of experience, I thought something of this kind would never be even imaginable. However, outside of my work field I gained many german friends pretty quickly - friends for life ( no competition here, haha). 10 years later, I am still here and the situation changed to better - a lot. A mix of getting trust, learning the language, and getting more international colleagues. I am totally thankful to the health system - they saved my life. If I stayed in my country, I would have had serious health issues. I am thankful to the democracy, freedom of expressing, schooling system( so much better than in my times in Yugoslavia), salaries, and many other things Germany gave me. I am living a good life, best life any of my family members had in generations. I would like to stay here as long as it feels good for me and my family. Having a german father to my kids is however the strongest link to me feeling home in Germany -having a local within your family makes it all a lot easier.

I moved here from Wales 5 years ago. I’ve been lucky enough to travel to many country’s around the world and I’ve honestly never seen anything like Canada. Most days don’t even meet Canadians. My boss is Indian, my land lord is Indian. I went to service Canada to update my driving licence and there was about 150 young indain students queuing up around the mall. When I’m lucky enough to strike up a conversation with a Canadian (born here) they seem beaten down and can’t believe the change in last 10 years…. Heartbreaking

But why are ALL International students from only India. I havent seen an int seltudent from any other country in the last 10 years
