High taxes, high energy prices, low wages, too much government, crony capitalism, real estate being treated as a speculative investment, too much immigration and nowhere to house them, regulations that deter entrepreneurship, poor health care, refusal to invest in our resource industry, refusal to invest in core infrastructure, declining civil liberties. Lot of these problems have been festering for a while, but things have really gone off a cliff since Trudeau was first elected. Even if you get some wise and saintly philosopher king to replace his corrupt arse, these problems will take years, probably decades to fix. I'm in my late 30s, and basically if I want to get out of this rut, I think I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and figure out a way to move to the States. I'm getting real tired of grinding my butt working and having nothing to show for it.

As a Canadian I can explain our problem: Our elected PM. He's absolutely gutted our energy sector and has made it clear the only economy that can function in Canada is Quebec & Ontario's economy, which accounts for government employees and white collar workers.\n\nThat's lead to Canadians moving to the US for work, home ownership, lower taxes, etc etc.\n\nCanadians that do stick around: Aren't interested in running a business, they tend to wind up working for the government for that stable income, and the only reliable way to get a good pension w/o managing your own finances.\n\nOur PM blames Canadians who own a house and a rental property rather than the thousands of foreigners who've been let in who buy 5+ properties to collect rental revenue.\n\nBusinesses won't invest in Canada anymore until there's certainty in our economy - And Trudeau ain't offering any guarantees besides wish washy threats to cut sectors.

This a Biden Admin blunder. When you advertise to the world that the US has free lunch, don’t be surprised when the border gets bum rushed. The Biden Admin and the Democrat part has basically allowed the likes of child, drug, human, and sex traffickers to blend in with folks desperate to flee their country. The traffickers use the people fleeing as cover, as mules. The regular people are preyed on and killed in some cases by these criminals. And all this is happening at a faster rate because we’re telling people to just come instead of doing immigration the orderly way. I pray for these people and I pray the men turn around and take that energy and that fight to the dictators that are ruining their country. (I also understand most dictators are and have been installed by the US).

Canada is doomed, one of the only reasons why this country has stayed afloat is because of the insane taxes, I bought 3 monster energies today and they were 8 dollars but with tax added up it was 16 dollars, absolutely insane. The cookie is going to crumble eventually most people just can't scrape by anymore, when the government has no more money too tax from people where are they gonna get their money from?

I run a small business in Canada and it’s ridiculously difficult to do here right now. Not only is the available labor pool deficient, but energy prices are high and regulations inhibitory. \n\nIt took 10 years of blood, sweat and tears to get to a solid place, and yet some days I still want to throw in my hat because the Canadian government issued another mandatory survey that takes DAYS to fill out, or some other such nonsense.

Breaks my heart. Let’s put energy into a fast level process.

We have the natural resources to create energy. Yet Trudeau put a stop to anything that could earn Canada money. With the regulations in place we could produce energy a lot more greener than other countries. Wouldn’t it be better if we have our own oil that is produce cleanly than to rely on other country that don’t care about environmental issues? It’s so simple yet the people have been brainwashed by this government. I live in Quebec and we have so much potential energy wise and we do nothing. Frustrating.

We have a leader who seems to be deeply invested in shutting down our oil and gas industry. He shut down oil and gas. Which put hundreds of people out of work. Then he slapped us with a carbon tax. He told us the carbon tax dollars would be invested toward producing green energy projects and manufacturing jobs. So far, the Carbon tax went up again, he banned plastic straws, he’s hitting our farmers with heavy restrictions on fertilizer, because it’s not green enough. \nMany of our indigenous communities have been living for years with contaminated water. He promised he was going to ensure the indigenous communities have access to clean drinking water. He has not fulfilled that promise. \nHe’s bidding $30 billion dollars to hopefully sign a deal to manufacture electric car batteries for Volkswagen. \nHe’s investing in other projects, as well. Unfortunately, he’s only investing in eastern provinces. \nSo far, there has been no investments in western provinces yet. Many of the out of work oil and gas workers in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba are still waiting on the jobs they were promised. \nLow wages, high inflation, high taxes and high income housing is bringing a lot of us to our knees. \nOur leader is corrupt. It seems like every week there is another corrupt scandal he and his government are involved in. \nI can’t speak for every Canadian, but I can say with absolute certainty that a large number of us are sick and tired of our current leader. Most of us live with the hope that if our leader can get voted out. Canada may have a chance to go back to the way our beautiful country used to be.

10:03 Drop in Canadian auto production shows how effective Trump was when he renegotiated NAFTA and pretty much killed the Auto Pact. \nWith that decline in Auto production comes a decline in all the industry that supports the auto sector, steel, parts, services, etc.\nCanada cannot compete on labor, taxes or financing. But it can compete on energy and inputs. If Canada built out cheap hydro and offered very attractive power rates to industry, as well as built out resource refining (iron ore, oil/plastics/chemicals, rare earth, other metals, etc) industry would locate in Canada just to have the cheap input advantage.
|
| 2023-04-19 | 0 |
Canada competes on the same education level/worker skill level as America. America has lower taxes, more financing, and a broader worker base. Unless Canada can compete with cheaper energy to make up for it's lack in those other areas, Canada fails.\n\nWhen Trump renegotiated NAFTA there is now less incentive for companies to locate in Canada when they can build in Mexico or America.\n\nCanada should be focusing on primary resource extraction and secondary resource refining. Canada could enhance this by building out hydro for cheap electricity that meets green industry standards. Canada has been failing at this.\nRecently Germany and Japan came to Canada looking for energy deals. This would require East/West pipelines. America shot this down, they straight told Germany and Japan to stay out of their Canadian Colony. And Canada, Germany, and Japan agreed.

We are very polite overtaxed people. It is halfway through every year before you actually earn money. You are a slave to the taxes until then. Small business is dying because energy costs are too high (due to the carbon tax). Groceries are crazy high... again due to the carbon tax. Will starving a nation save the world?

Canadas biggest problem is the guy making the decisions on the top in 2023 and his adherence to WEF and ESG principals, in which he is killing Canadas biggest money making industries (energy). How many economies do well when they intentionally kill their golden goose?

All the energy to get to America, and none to improve their own nations. Unbelievable.
|
| 2023-04-10 | 0 |
All that energy could be put toward fighting the cartel and their government of Their Own Homeland
|
| 2023-04-08 | 0 |
We should keep the same energy and hold our governments accountable!!! It’s about time for Latinamerica to take a stand!!!
|
| 2023-04-08 | 0 |
They should use that energy to fight for their own country, not overwhelming another country.
|
| 2023-04-07 | 0 |
If only they would use that energy in the effort to fix the things they don't like in their country!\nThere seems to be MILLIONS of them,we certainly have millions of them in America already, and no shortage of more coming!\nSo if they won't work to improve their own country, why should we \nassume they would put out effort\nto do any better here ?
|
| 2023-04-07 | 0 |
Use that energy to build your raggedy ass homeland up. We got our own shit going on here.
|
| 2023-04-07 | 0 |
They could turn this energy into effort into their own home, doesnt have to cry on our doorstep all day.
|
| 2023-04-07 | 0 |
They don’t want to come here. Just use that same energy to make Mexico GREAT ??
|
| 2023-04-06 | 0 |
If only they had this energy to fix their own country instead of trying to invade ours
|
| 2023-04-06 | 0 |
I feel for them, but they should use that same energy in their own country.
|
| 2023-04-04 | 0 |
If our border wall was completed and illegal immigration laws were stricter, the people trying to abandon their broken countries may use their energy to fix them instead of fleeing.
|
| 2023-04-04 | 0 |
If they can illegally force their way in, imagine what havoc they’ll wreak on the economy and the crimes they’ll commit to get what they want in America. They are already committing a crime by doing this, who is to say they won’t commit more (perhaps even more heinous) crimes once they force their way in? If anything, they need to direct this energy towards their government and fight for their own country instead of bringing their problems into America
|
| 2023-04-04 | 0 |
If they spent that much energy storming there own capital they could have a better life! Sorry but we're plum full here in America! All our program are tapped out! We ain't got enough for our own people, let alone this type of shit
|

Yeah that’s the reality…this country was taken, and it’s slowly creeping to a fallout. That’s what this nation gets…this soul was founded upon bad energy, and corrupt principles. It’s crumbling in every way. There’s no balance, and now things are slowly being rectified. Unfortunately it’s chaotic, and violent. I do not have anger or any issue with what I am seeing. We all suffer because this land was built on blood, and chaos, and now chaos is beginning to reign. There’s no turning back. It’s like the sins of our fathers, fathers etc. The children of those father will suffer, and burn because they took their time making it all balanced. Endure this crisis, and suffer, for no of us are righteous, and neither of us are innocent. Let the world burn for its sins.

Americans can’t find jobs and homes, these migrants need to put that same energy and resilience in bettering their own country
|
| 2023-04-04 | 0 |
Use this energy against their own government!. What is the US government doing about it? Get Biden out fast. Everyone knows Bidens' mind ain't right, now they're trying to take advantage of Obama and his puppet ?
|
| 2023-04-04 | 0 |
??? they need to have this energy for their leaders. They’re spending all the money and vacationing over here all year long.
|
| 2023-04-03 | 0 |
If they would organize like they did here, with this kind of energy they could make big changes in their country and make life better for all their families and friends for generations.?
|
| 2023-04-03 | 0 |
So imagine if they took this same energy and fought whatever it is that they are running from. ??
|
| 2023-04-03 | 0 |
Why are they feeling so entitled and empowered now? Keep that same energy in your country tf?
|

Bean bag guns tear gas? I want the same energy they use for black protesters

They don’t look like there’s anything wrong with them. Start running back to where you came from since you have so much energy to run ?♀️.

Bottle that energy. Mass enter Venezuelan govt buildings. Install a capitalist leader. Watch the flower blossom. Sure the US will leech off your industries and resources, but their superior management, laws, and capitalist principles, will still benefit you greatly. A rising tide lifts all boats. Venezuela, I wish you the best.
|
| 2023-04-02 | 0 |
I wish they fight with the same energy the corrupt government of the countries they’re from.

What I don't understand is ...\nWhy they don't stay in thare own country and overthrow there government and make it better instead of coming to Our country and destroying what little we have left ...\nThat's what's gonna happen. \nWe are all ready pushed to our max. \nWe can't afford the people we got now ...\nI mean who the hell is gonna support them ... We Are that's who ..\nVenezuela chose socialism so they created this monster and now they can't live with it ... \nWhy don't thare citizens take all that energy and anger out on THARE government ?????

The U.S. economic war on Venezuela is one of the main reasons for the record number of migrants arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border, where there has been a surge in migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.\nYears of U.S. efforts to destroy the Venezuelan oil industry and overthrow the Venezuelan government has fueled the humanitarian catastrophe. As U.S. sanctions have pushed Venezuela into one of the worst crises in the hemisphere’s history, more than 7 million people have fled the country. Hundreds of thousands more have fled Cuba, Haiti, and Nicaragua, poor countries that have lost access to low-cost Venezuelan energy.

Why don't they have this same energy for their country
|
| 2023-03-31 | 0 |
If only they would turn this energy on their on country…
|
| 2023-03-31 | 0 |
We need harsher immigration policies, if you mess up your country, why take that energy here? Fix your mistakes, don't make them mine to bear
|
| 2023-03-31 | 0 |
Ya they need to put that energy into fighting for their own country and make it better... makes you really appreciate all the men who died fighting for our constitutional rights...
|
| 2023-03-31 | 0 |
Imagine if they put this much energy into fixing their own piece of shit country the guards should be allowed over fire on them. Any other country in the world would have
|
| 2023-03-30 | 0 |
This is not acceptable. Not at all. All this rebellion but not the same energy for changing the politics in your home country.
|
| 2023-03-29 | 0 |
Those that blame or are angry at the migrants should redirect that energy towards the president. A wall would have been nice ....... more border patrol. These migrants would not come here unless they are being told of the incentives given to them if they sneak over. Worst president in our lifetime.

There is something they are running from the government is responsibility to ensure the safety of all people who ever wants to come into this country for we are American people and we have to do this for the American flag and shouldn't we be more than a bigoted bunch of obnoxious politicians who crippled the country of viniswala and three other adjoining countries in this ERA of the world of energy why are we still abandoning the constitutional right to all people of the world..????
|
| 2023-03-28 | 0 |
They don’t want to be Americans they shouldn’t get the pass they are just running here because they don’t have any other option which is sad but how about put the energy and time you used into walking here to take back your own country
|

Bidumb is busy destroying random energy infrastructure in Europe rather than focusing on America's own problems .
