They don’t realize the harm they’re doing to the ones that already here illegally and are trying to do the best to get do everything right without breaking the laws , such as paying taxes. It’s selfishness from their part for what they’re doing and it’s only harming people like me. I’m was brought here to the US when I was 2 years old I am now 20. I graduated high school , don’t have any felonies or misdemeanors. I have a degree for machine technology and I can’t work because I don’t have a work permit , and these people are coming and getting all these privileges I never got. This is causing bad to those who are already here and are trying to do everything according to the law and yet we have no support in getting atleast a work permit. I agree daca was unconstitutional which is why they’re trying to shut it down but trump was trying to make something happen for teens that were brought here at a young age. Unfortunately people are blind and selfish and only care about themselves, I get it that they live in poverty because so did we. And my beautiful mother suffered so much. But atleast wait until the US can do something about those who are already in weather it’s helping them or not. There’s so much problems happening right now in the United States such as mass shootings. Let the authorities, government officials , etc try to clean up the United States from how bad it’s getting before raiding the border and causing a burden and headache to those who are in office trying to come up with solutions to this madness.

Yes, it's great to let immigration in, especially ones that pay taxes, but it's overburdening both the rental/housing demand (which needs opposing pressure to lower prices) as well as healthcare demand, which is not being properly addressed. Instead our healthcare system is flooded. And it's inefficient and expensive as is already. We just need to tame the number of people we allow in, and grow our ability to self-sustain first.\n- It's too late now, but government policies to give out money during COVID was poorly executed, yet plentiful. When 40% of currency was printed in the last year/two, no doubt we will have inflation. This was never touched upon in the video. Resources/social supports should have been provided rather than just straight up $$$. There was an excess of money given to places they shouldn't have been. We saw a boom in industries like say hobbies and games, showing additional money being wasted where it should have been used for food and shelter. \n- Canadian government is not trying to be as aggressive to retain Canadian companies. We are heavily dependent on US corporations and hence the brain drain as well. Salaries do not compare, especially when remote work is now possible. \n\nWe are already deep in the hole and need to be more financially responsible. I'd strongly disagree with the last statement in this video that we are perceived as corrupt (there's been lots of civil unrest because of government misspending). We are civil and polite, but that's not what helps economies grow, as OCED forecasts as well.

I'm a Canadian living in the UK now. I love Canada with every piece of my heart but couldn't see myself ever being anything other than working poor there. I went to college but couldn't get a job in my field so had to take whatever minimum wage I could get, couldn't afford rent let alone buying a property so moved in with my parents and there isn't any support from the government for average citizens, only if you're an immigrant, disabled etc. I'm not against helping immigrants, disabled people or those that need it, just sucks that if you don't fall into certain categories it means you'll always struggle in your minimum wage job.\nLife in the UK isn't perfect but I was able to find a decent job here, the public transit is actually usable, phone plans and other bills/groceries tend to be cheaper and the working conditions are significantly better. Like I get 32 paid days off a year in my average job which is just wild to me! In Canada my sister who is a police officer only gets 15 days off a year and that's a lot compared to other people, like I never use to get any paid time off at my previous jobs. I miss parts of living in Canada but for the time being the UK is making my life a lot easier.

As a Canadian, let me tell you, most of these issues stem from our very poor choice in government ATM, for almost 10 years Justin Trudeau has been our prime minsiter & has done very little besides raising taxes too actually help low income Canadians, I'm on of them, i barely make $20k a year & i live with my parents, its tough & i don't think i'll ever own a house:(

Dude, I have lived in both Australia and Canada for 4 years each. I've seen racism in both unfortunately, although not much. Now... I live in Switzerland and let me tell you these two countries have way way less racism than here and most of Europe. Sorry this won't help you much, but in many ways Canada and Australia are very similar.

Canadas biggest problem is over relliance on US. If they allow themselves to trade with Asia it would be beneficial. Not only that if they stop being US bitch and let Chinese businesses in it might help them. They are playing a game where they will always loose. Canada need policies that incentivize investment from outside. Making Vancouver a tax haven (not for residential property but investments in business) if you invest in business you wont get taxed or taxes are competitively lower, something like ireland and give incentives for startups. 0% tax on startups and keeping low and competitive tax for local industry even later on would help. Vancouver has potential to become something like Singapore or Hong Kong. As of right now Canada has all the policies that discourage investment.

Seriously we absolutely need to help all the homeless and families already in the US without enough food who got fd diring covid. Help our people for once please or we won’t have country to bust into . Oh yea and when you have no home and no food you don’t give a FK what pronoun people call you . ..just sayin …. Don't let them come! I know that there are some great Venezuelans out there but there are also some criminals who just try to take advantage of the situation. If immigration happens, it has to be in order and planned. Other SouthAmerican countries took the massive immigration as a way to help Venezuela and ended messing up their economies and lives of their inhabitants. Thank the Democrats for letting this happen. We cannot support the people we have now so how are these people going to get the help they need? I guess these liberal cities can keep taking them in since it's their policies letting it happen. This administration is going after the rights and freedoms of all Americans and trying to turn the Constitution into some old document that doesn't have any relevance in today's world. They're pushing more and more communistic laws through our government to strip Americans of their rights. People need to wake up and see that this administration doesn't give a damn about you or this country.

Build towns that are surrounded by walls give them a small space to live and build factories. Allow these people to have a small check and live and work in those small cities say in the middle of nowhere. Make them work for 1 year in those places and as long as they do good not crime and show up for work and take care of there living space then allow them to become citizens. That way you weed out the criminals and non hard workers. In 1 year you will have a good idea of who should be staying. Also its them paying for there spot and contributing to the us economy. Once they become contributing members of society and they get on there feet out of each check they will take a small amount to pay for all the resources that were used to help them. Also I belive the majority of the ones let in should be women and the young children. If I don't get free help working full time struggling they shouldn't either. Let's make america a manufacturing power house like we're were in the past and the only reason we are a super power now. Also do the same thing for criminals and the homeless teach them worth ethic and how to follow laws instead of giving them handouts to go buy more dope

Let them in. They will build the housing we need. Right now for every 5 contractors that is retiring we're replacing them with only 2. They will pay taxes. They will be afraid of losing their green card so won't even speed. Their children will get educated in America and grow up to help keep social security solvent. They will make us stronger. People can't find housing??? Programs are out there for those who had foreclosure on them because of Trump's unyielding to constantly tax those not making six digits. Also our country lost over one million innocent men,women, children and infants because Trump REFUSED to acknowledge COVID. Care to speculate how many of them were republicans thinking how could I of believed him??? One father stated after burying his wife who died from it said this. We believed him then my wife of fifty years contracted it and died quickly and our kids who like us who believed him were told had this been taken seriously in the beginning it would of never become this severe.
