So hindus lie to hindus and Canadians have to pay prize, if any hindu comes in Canada to study, that's all, they say they lived 3 or 4 years, payed tuition for college, so according to their rules now it is time they to get citizenship. But the truth is, they payed in order to get a degree, then go back and work in their country. Ridiculous that They even say, 1 brings whole family later, so multiply 1 on 4 or 5. Do people in Canada have to live by Canadian law and order or how hindus make up rules and decide? I heard that Canada already looks like an india, they are already becoming majority not only in Canada but in the whole world, billions of them!!!

Canada is not produce enough babies to pay taxes and that's why we need immigration. IRCC needs to increase the threshold to become an actual citizenship not just loophole or 3 year stay. If we need people in certain industries, then give work permits.

As a Canadian citizen, I see that there are 3 major issues at play in this problem - \n\n1) Canadian colleges are starved off funds and do not have a sufficient, stable source of revenue. Hence they seek to attract international students who pay (at least) 4X the fee a Canadian citizen would pay. According to mainstream media such as The Globe and Mail, National Post and others, International students contribute some where between $15 to $18 billion per year in revenue to Canada. This is huge!\n\nSince this is a lucrative revenue stream for them, they have gone overboard and are providing strong financial incentives to education / immigration consultants to bring more international students here. Consequently, many existing as well as new colleges are encashing on this trend and diploma mills have mushroomed in Canada lately. This is ABSOLUTELY Canada’s fault and the accountability of fixing this lies with Canada alone.\n\n2. International students who come here often end up taking humongous debt or selling off their homes/ancestral property to be able to afford their education and hence they feel cheated when the dream they were sold doesn’t match the reality. \n\nHaving said that, International students do need to understand that they are here or a temporary visa and DO NOT get to dictate terms to Canada. It is Canada’s sole prerogative to extend their work visa or not, depending upon Canadians requirements.\n\n3. The Trudeau Liberal government benefits by giving these students extended work permits and a pathway to citizenship as it translates into votes for them. However this is an atrocious approach to winning elections and puts unnecessary pressure on the system. \n\nCanada needs to streamline this whole student visa process and take stringent action against these fake diploma mills, education and immigration consultants luring foreign students. It damages Canada’s reputation.\n\nLastly, extend the work permits of only those students that meet Canada’s labour standards and requirements and send everyone else back home.

I am shocked to hear this from a CBC reporter saying IMMIGRANTS get money from the government!! Where on earth did you get this ,outrageous information!! People who apply to come to Canada as legal immigrants , have to go through a strict points system.that can take years . Plus medical and security checks. They have to speak English or French , be educated and most of all have a skill ,trade or profession that Canada needs!as Canada does not have enough highly skilled workers. I’m a Canadian nurse and I lived in the US for 10 years during my career. I did it when I was young to gain work experience and travel with friends. It gave me a lot of insight in how it feels to live in both countries. I’ve been a nurse and patient in both counties so I also know how it feels to work, live and be a resident in both. \n\nI cannot articulate enough how it has confirmed to me how fortunate I am to be Canadian. The perks to living in the US were very superficial and frivolous things that matter very little in the broad scheme of things,….which I see as more restaurant chains, cheaper restaurant food, more shopping options, etc. As a young person when I lived there,…those things seemed amazing but matter far less as I get older. \n\nWhen I lived there, I paid a fraction of the income taxes that I paid in Canada but it’s only short term gain for long term pain. The cost of health care, the amounts of gov funded benefits (disability, EI, pension, etc) in the US makes it well worth paying taxes to offset these things as in Canada. I have had cancer 3 times in 5 years and I’ve not paid a cent for treatment, scans, surgery, etc in Canada. My employer held my job for 2 years and I received long term disability of 70% of my yearly wages and my employer paid my full pension and benefits as I was off of work. After 2 years, my cancer returned and was deemed incurable so I will continue to receive this pay and benefits until I’m 65 and can retire as I can no longer work. I have no financial worries as I battle cancer. \n\nTo contrast,…my US employer was a world reknowned hospital that had excellent pay and benefits. Had I been working there when I was diagnosed with cancer, I would only have gotten full pay for 6 weeks until my sick time and vacation time was used up. Then I was eligible for a fraction of my income for 3 months, which would not be enough to live on. I would not have had my pension paid. After that, I’d receive no more pay and my employer would hold my job without pay for 6 months and then I’d be let go. My cancer required nearly 2 years off of work so after 5 months of this minimal pay, I’d have no income, no job and no benefits with a new pre existing condition to ensure that I’d have a snowballs chance in hell of getting future coverage. Meanwhile during that 5 months of some pay, I’d still need to pay huge costs of treatment despite having insurance but that would disappear after I was let go from my job. I’d have to return to work during my treatment just to afford to continue it. I have many US friends that had a similar cancer that worked throughout to cover basic cancer care while I was able to recuperate without working or fearing being unable to pay. There is nothing comparable to this when you are sick. It is everything!\n\nSadly, many of my American friends are very ill informed on how health care works in other countries and don’t see the shortcomings in their own. Ironically though, they are willing to argue it without proper information so I often find that bizarre. While lived there I felt as though I was in a bubble where the only news that I saw was US news. I saw no info or minimal about Canada in my whole time there,…aside from falsehoods about health care to scare people away from seeking change. “Canadians are all dying while waiting”, “they are all coming to the US for care”, “they pay 80% income tax” etc. All propaganda,…some from politicians or those that should know better. It was truthfully mind boggling to me how educated people could know so little about the world. It almost felt as though they heard so much propaganda about how terrible other places were while only having knowledge of the US, that it ensured that things would stay the same without anyone wanting beneficial changes to dysfunctional policies (like health care, cost of meds, lack of gun regulations, etc). It’s very bizarre.

The true comparison/ difference in earning and saving differences between same job type india and Canada will be huge if a person saves 30 lakhs INR in 30 years working in india compared same period in Canada 3 Cr INR savings minimum. Similarly comparing the quality of food huge differences in Canada will be best food, air , safety, and living conditions. My family moved to Montréal from the largest Greek island Crete in 1965 when I was 9 got a great education worked in mechanical/ engineering design 44 years and simultaneously 33 years as media/wedding and sports photographer as I work with top major sports team’s photographer. I’m now retired and thinking after visiting my hometown in Chania Crete the last 6-7 years I have met people that are offering me teaching jobs in AutoCAD tutoring or even night school teaching sports photography as I have a portfolio in many different sports of 40 years .. I’m proud born Greek and never gave up of my goals as I was the only Greek of 2,000 employees for a tool designer and pattern designer for a Pulp and Paper manufacturing company for 10 years in the 80s. If you are on vacation in Canada and meet a business owner and he likes you and want to hire you full time for what ever job. Immigration will say no to that. I was an international Student....15 years ago. I paid about 30k in tuition A YEAR.. I was NOT allowed to work off campus, i was allowed to work ON campus for a maximum of 10 hours A WEEK...in order for me to maintain my Visa status i had to maintain a GPA over 3.5 AND i had to be enrolled in an accredited institution. Our international student department had a quota of how many students they could recruit from every country... Rent was affordable, jobs were aplenty and when it came time for an Internship companies would come do hiring fairs and fight to get students to want to work for them. Now they get about 60k applicants a year that are willing to work for free and taking away from actual citizens.\nAfter 8 years of working and grinding and stressing i earned the right to get a Permanent residence...i had to commit 3 years out of 5 to stay here and work here and pay taxes for me to become a Canadian ...it was the proudest day of my life. I was filled with a sense of achievement that has been shat on by these students. \nIf you or anyone would actually like to talk about how it should be feel free to reach out.\nI will tell you this for free...if a Canadian Citizen did this in my country .. they'd be on the first flight home.

We came to Canada 5 years ago, through Student Visa ( Masters) , wanted my kids to learn english too, the pandemic hit and borders closed. Plan was return. During pandemic we had to change our visa and got the PR and got good jobs,. Met great people and decided to stay because is nice for my children. What I have to say is: there is wayyy too many Indians, we didnt want to do any school work with them, we dont want to work with them, we dont want to live in their neighborhood. ( its weird to admit it), at this point, we dont want to go to Walmart, is just their irresponsible attitude everywhere , also descendents of India (2 and 3 generarion) that I met are shocked and upset with soo many and the elementary schools are packed full portables. There is no balance. Their culture will dominate in 100 years from now. This is how immigration works. The outcomes will be seen later and will change Canadian Culture forever.

Lots of truth in this video. I lived in Canada for 28 years now. I was just in Germany for a 3 month long vacation and what a difference compared to Canada. So much cheaper and better food in Germany and rents are actually affordable with cheap public transport. Weather is also a lot milder and more comfortable in winter and summer. I think Canadians don't fully realize how incredibly inflated the prices for the necessities are here. I now realize that I live in a country that is shamelessly trying to suck their people dry. Canadians are just too subdued and are just letting it happen. Every day you wait will make it that much harder to turn this around.

I have lived in Toronto for over 20 years. I love this city, but I can no longer afford to live here even with a great job and decent salary. When I received a rent increase of 10% for my 1 bedroom apartment on January 1 followed by a 3% annual salary increase shortly after that, the writing was on the wall. That gap is never going to close and things are going downhill fast from here now that I'm at a point where rent eats up more than half of my monthly earnings. The 30% rule is and has been a joke for a very long time. On top of that being mandated back to the office and forced to take the TTC which is a non-stop gong show sealed the deal. I'm leaving. I have decided to move back to Winnipeg to be closer to family, where housing is still affordable and I'll still make a better than living wage. Never thought I would find myself returning to live there, but now I'm actually looking forward to it because the downsides I used to focus on no longer exist when the high possibility of ending up homeless is removed from the equation.

Although México isn't the greatest country, the part where i live (Near the center) is fairly safe, I've never been robbed or been involved in some cartel shit that you've heard of Mexico everyday (I'm 25 yo). The opportunity aren't the best either but aren't so bad...\nI mean, I've just finished the bachelor degree two years ago, I'm planning to buy a house with my girlfriend and making quick math we calculate it would take us about 3 - 4 years to save enough to buy one (Earning like 1200 USD monthly) taking in consideration that you can give yourself certain luxury's like hitting the road every weekend in motorcycle, visiting some places along the way, eating good food and stuff, with out sacrificing the rent or any basic necessities, then you remain with enough money for any emergency or urgent thing that comes out later.\nWatching this video makes me feel lucky of been here in Mexico even it isn't a very stable county i could say that the quality of life is fair enough (At least in the part where I am).\nSorry for you Canadian people... The processing times is what Canada needs to seriously look at. Once that is done, immigrants won't like to move. At point your life can just come to a halt all in the name of processing on the part of Government. To renew a work permit may take between 3 and 6 months to be done. Apply for travel document and it takes forever. PR processing is the worse as it can take up to 4 years. Too much frustrations

Canada sucks. Lived here my whole life. 34 years near Toronto. Here's a list of other stuff not mentioned.\n1) terrible school system. Basically go private or subject your kids to liberal ideology and creative learning which puts math and literacy scores at a 20 year low.\n2) terrible Healthcare system. You can wait in line for 1 hour at a walk in clinic. 6 hours at emergency. There's hardly any doctors working.\n3) terrible transit. The public transit is outdated. The roads are always busy with 3 year long construction projects. They actively reduce road lanes to add in bicycle lanes, that are only uses half the year because no one rides a bicycle in -10 degree C. But yeah, we'll still plow the bike lane with tax payer $.\n4) increase in crime. More recent development but lets say it started picking up during the lockdowns in 2020. A lot of immigrants that don't give a f about the law. They don't give a f about the police. They get out on bail the next day. They do crime in broad daylight. It's insane. I don't feel safe. Plus, it's hard to own firearms in canada. You can't protect yourself.\n5) no cultural cohesion. The culture sucks. Bland, boring, fake.\n\nHonestly, stay away from Canada. The only thing it had going for it was it polite and safe. But now it's a crime spree out there. Last I heard, 55 car jacking happen everyday.

This video is a load of crap. People want to live in cities that is why it is expensive. It is that way all over the world. I just sold my mom’s 3 bedroom house for 27,000 in small town Saskatchewan. Took 2 years to sell because no one wants to live in a small town. The utilities and taxes come to only 3,000 a year. As for grocery prices i just came back from a trip to the USA and checked their grocery stores. Their prices are the same or higher and in US dollars.

holy crap. Sorry but as a Nova Scotian I have to strongly disagree . Our housing costs both renting or buying has gone crazy in the last three years . We have people living in tents even in the winter. Homelessness is in crisis. I personally have a friend in her 60s and sick and will be homeless in 3 days as she cannot find an apartment much less afford one Prices in everything has gone sky high. While salaries stay low. Every where you look now you see garbage just thrown. Last year we had devestating floods and wildfires. University students get her and cannot find housing. One international student is paying $400 a month to sleep on a hallway floor. I know housing in all our provinces is a problem. Tent cities are everywhere. People poyring in without us having the means to house them has caused terrible sufferring for all. People shoukd not come to NS at this time. Wait until there are places built to house people. Also our healrh care system is in crisis. I love my province but I dont even recognise it anymore. It is so sad what is happening here. People come here from away and some start youtube channels to tell people from their home countries Not to come here.

I lived in canada for past 35 years. I am married with 3 kids. I work like a dog 60 hrs a week , i pay heavy taxes on my salary soo the government can give away hard tax payers money to people who scam the system. Examples are walfare and ontario works. I know people that get $1350 minimum on odsp and they are more than capable of working but choose to scam the sysytem collect free money and work cash jobs for less money and take away jobs from others. Hate this country now and cant wait to leave and shift else where were i can happily retire and watch my kids grow up and spend time with my family since everything in canada is soo expensive i have to work overtime and my wife also started working part time?

My girlfriend recently moved to Toronto, in doing so, she needed to put 6 months rent upfront. Almost $20,000 out of pocket between her and her roommate. What's worse is that the upfront payment is only about 3% of what a comparable condo is being listed for, so with half an average years salary to boot, they still couldn't buy. \n\nSafe to say we are leaving as soon as possible.

Most immigrants are staying 3-5 years for citizenship because just like Canadians they realized that by living just across the border they will get paid better with less taxes, better prices and housing and weather. It's just insane that a huge rich country filled with resources for construction and agriculture can't afford basic housing or affordability for its citizens
