As for emerg wait times - I live in a small town in rural Alberta & have never had a problem. Recently had to go to emerg. Was triaged, saw Dr., had xrays & was given Rx. Palkhi as much as I like watching your news your views here need to address real issues. I am a proud Indian who has lived in the UK for over 50 years. However I have to say whilst there are a lot of highly skilled Indian immigrants on work visas who contribute immensely to this country. however we now have a huge community of Indians those who have come over on illegal documents or on holiday visas and then never go back. They end up working in menial jobs or not working at all and perhaps this is an issue India needs to address. Sadly these immigrants will never be an economically contributing asset to this country or any other country and I am not surprised that the visa rate rejection is so high.

I offer to you this grandfatherly advice. Government costs money. Evaluate what it does for and to its citizens. You can live in the most beautiful place in the world, but if you can’t touch anything, why bother? Living in the U S there are 50 states. Most abide by the same federal standards but each state has its own way of doing stuff. Right now Los Angeles is burning. They do not allow the removal of dead vegetation in the vast majority of the state. The state has wildfires every year. They have the highest taxes and the most regulations of all of the states. They also have some of the most beautiful places to live in and otherwise great weather. The exodus of the citizens of California go to states without such high prices and taxes. The demand is increased in these states so housing costs more. Many counties have refugee/immigration increases. They too increase the demand without the supply. To make up for it.
