It has nothing to do with Canadian culture..it is about the insecurity the Canadians have from South Asian immigrants that they will take over Canada, just because of their hunger for success. Ask any immigrant from India, he would be working 2-3 jobs while locals do not want to work. Ever wondered why employers want Indian students to work at Tim Hortons and grocery stores rather than Canadian kids??? Just keep your hatred aside and talk to any Indian student and then compare them with any local kid roaming around in the posh shopping malls. You will realize the difference between sense of entitlement and sheer hard work.

As the lady said I too feels like a stranger in my own country Trinidad west indies,every where you turn around it Chinese from China,Jamaicans, and the most right is from Venezuela,also there are Indians from India,From Bangladesh,mind you most these just opening businesses and surly they are not contributing any thing to the country in terms of taxes because they know how to bend the rules ,the economy is bad yet these people are given free medical care,yet Trinidadians don't get the same ,the Chinese just making money yet nothing from to the building of the country all the money they are making is going outside of the country likewise the Indians from India and the lists goes on and on ,these immigrants from these countries behaves like they are doing us a favor in fact they are not they are putting a big strain on the economy and the Trinidad taxes payers .

I moved to Canada last year, I repent now .. life was so easy in my country. I cannot think of buying 500 sft house here. The prices are skyrocketing , I cannot think of doing savings .. My life standard was much better back in my country. I think this Canada is thriving on immigrants money.. now that I already have spend my hard earned money from back home into Canada, I am now good for nothing , no use to this country.

if you are here for studies, you do not have any rights to jobs, get your finances right before you come, the reality is the roads are not paved with gold and NOTHING is free, what the Gov did is shameful and they bear the shame... There IS NOT a lack of housing in canada , there IS ONLY an affordability problem along with far too much immigration by volume and time frame . Our services and infrastructure (ie; transit services , health care , employment , realisticly affordable housing , finances , etc .) are no where near adequate to accomodate canadians even before the over populating of foreigners . They have been coming here and buying up all the affordable housing during , and post pandemic , with offers far above listed or fair market values , to push owners to sell without question or thought . Following this they stack multiples into these homes illegally and against code , to be able to take up all employment at wages that canadians can't survive on ,forcing them out of employment , homes or both . Once stable and trained to know that business operation , one of their people buy the business and no longer hire any canadians . YES ! TRUE FACT!! How is this accepted ? This is something we could never get away with anywhere .... Selling your country , one property at a time , is only absolute lunacy . They pay top dollar and care nothing about the money , because being that they own most of the businesses , they will get it all back from you within about a years time by raising prices ultimately to do so . Why we have been so run into a crisis within a silent war , is far of that beyond me as we should b lead by our suposed intelligence . There is only right now to react , and correct on this !! We want our home back as it was !!! Oh , and a leader is defined by one who leads , not one who experiments at the expense of our lives !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not even Canadian, although I have visited many times and enjoyed their hospitality. Nothing pisses me off more than the entitled, disgruntled immigrant. As an immigrant with elect eng'g degree and work experience in power plant at international ship(containers and bulk carriers) as onboard electrician. Came to canada and cant even work as electrician. Back to zero all my documents and exp are nothing here. Guess its better to take my skill to the US or somewhere else. When ur in other countries as a immigrant or ur basically a guest so follow the country law that ur immigrant in I feel like even tho I am from India live in Canada since 2014 I feel like I have to follow the rule of Canada I mean I am Canadian citizen now but still I can do my culture things too but at same time when other countries says no knifes in any public places or guns without any license even tho it’s part of ur religion it’s the rule u need to follow ur culture doesn’t work in other countries only work if it’s safe otherwise there nothing much u can do. My favourite festival from my country is Diwali and when I am in Canada i don’t use dangerous firework I only use smaller fire worker but I don’t use rockets and etc that can cause fires bec I am in Canada doesn’t mean I have don’t have to follow their laws laws r meant to keep people safe so i feel like the cop is on the right bec he doing his duty and following his own country law

Nothing wrong with immigration, the annual rate seems a bit skewed though. Similar issue in Australia, I’m happy for immigration to increase when infrastructure meets population increase. English as a common language is essential though, at least IELTS 5.0 for the visa holder.

There's nothing wrong with immigration as long as it's controlled, people enter legally and do what it takes to adapt to the host countries' values. I'm from India too; I fully support nationalism, irrespective of the country; it isn't racist, as the media likes to push that narrative. The sense of community is reducing because I think there's this wall between ethnic groups. South Asian Indians are fourth generation Canadians and are educated, successful and have assimilated with the European culture. Found my sister binge watching this channel and i have to say all of these questions aren't new. If you never travelled to these countries before, you wouldn't know them. I don't understand the numbers, i am Canadian and we are only 41 millions in the entire Canada, yeah we did let 1.5 million immigrants in in the last 4 years but the number doesn't add up and second i can see more Chinese and black than indian peoples. Anyway those immigrants will go away after a couple of months when they see in 2024 that a rent for an apartment costs between 1500$ to 2200$ per month and with 100$ of foods we can barely live 4 days

A Canadian here who moved to the USA back in the 1990's. Back then, and even more so today, it was pointless with the Canadian tax structure to work hard and make higher income. So I moved to the USA, worked my ass off in a progressive tax structure and am now in a place of happiness and freedom in retirement. I visit Canada often enjoying a great exchange rate. It's heartbreaking to see everyone either work like crazy to be left with almost nothing after taxes, or my unemployed friends get almost as much after-tax on welfare who complain about how the schools, taxes and government service are going to immigration. I hope Canada can start developing an identity and work towards something more positive than simply growing the government unions.

The problem is that the government does not turn off the immigration to India. The government needs to let the actual people who come here integrate and mix. If you have nothing but wave after wave after wave of new immigrants come here then nobody will be mix with other races or religions. It is just human nature.

i am in a college in a small town in Ontario and in my class we have 54 students and only 4 not including me are local students and the rest basically 90% are indian and the rest nepali from Philippines and some African countries and i moved here from usa with my family in 2015 and even up till 2019 canada was livable and now its not its impossible my plan is when i graduate i will move back to usa or some cheap country like Mexico Thailand and work remotely i am not against immigration but the path this country is going in accepting crazy amounts of student visa is wild also i feel some what bad for some of these students they get sold on a lie being canada is affordable they can find job easily and live comfortable but at the same time these students should do their research and its nothing but a infinite money maker for collages but at the same time they are kind of forced to do so to make money cause here in Ontario ford cut budgets for collages
