In simple terms- the larger country, with the largest economy in the world (USA) buys more from its Northern brother, which produces vast amounts of natural resources which the larger southern country requires. As for the booing seen at most recent sports events in Canada, that is directed at the President, not the average American. I myself would never boo a national anthem, an anthem that millions have sacrificed to protect and defend. But I understand the pain and anger that is coming from my country. We have always been allies, friends, and to most even family. I do hope that in the future our relationship can heal and move forward but the current actions being taken by the American admistration are horrendus and upsetting to most of the world outside of the US. Address the real problem and how tosrart working on it, The problem is over the last 40 years there has been a radical redistribution of wealth from the bottom and the middle to the top and the more. This is partly because we changed the tax laws. We relieved taxes from corporations and the rich and we switched them onto the middle and bottom. It was done by Republicans and by democrats And real wages have been flat for years while inflation is rocketing.. And so we have a declining economy and declining country. So we need to face this real problem and start demanding our representatives reverse the way this country taxes.
