You forgot that not all neighborhoods in Can & the US are this desolate. Most immigrants live in big Cities like Toronto & NY. Some live in ethnic enclaves, neighborhoods/communities where their ethnicity is the predominant group, like Chinatown.

I think Quebec is most stunning. Steeped in history, great food, mountains and rivers/lakes and the ocean is magnificent. Newfoundland the most friendlest, night life unforgettable fun you won't know when to go home? the food to die for. But it's the people who are really the drawing card. Their big hearted kindnes cannot do enough for you to take care of you to ensure you enjoy your stay. You don't have much money? No problem just mention it to someone/anyone and Presto you will have a place to stay for free. I think you forgot to mention the expensive housing price in Canada! It's NOT what you see on the western movie where most people live in a nice big house. Unless you bring A LOT of money when you immigrate here, it's very difficult to buy a home with your salary, especially in Vancouver and Toronto area where there're more job opportunities.

You forgot - there is no way to buy a house (unless you rob a bank, even lottery won't help). You are girls, so that is already fixed for you. A subtopic - 80% of jobs are not advertised anywhere (this is discrimination even when all canadians swear they are not). Networking to get a job is like mafia - you have to know the right people. Which explaines why there are so many high paid morrons who don't know what they are doing (doctors for example). And another one - good luck raising children - expensive and complicated (that is why imigrants come to play to fix demographics).

I came to Canada as a student in January 2020.. Just 3 months in and the pandemic broke out.. I think the Government forgot about the fact that they have international students residing here… we go no socialisation, no friends to hang out with and as a very social person it really hit me hard… Idk it kinda sucks that I had to be completely isolated for 2 years and it’s still the same…

Quebec is about a 20 minute drive from my house. Other Places in Quebec include Gatineau, Montebello, Trois Rivers, and much more. Oh I forgot Mont Tremblant which is my favourite
