Trudeau’s speech, spot on. This CNN “analysis” says so much about why it’s lost its value. Quoting the Washington Post’s use of the word “dumb” does not make a speech harsh. Good lord. 47 reckless governance is harsh, cruel and intentionally damaging, not to mention the way he speaks daily. Get it right.

Terrific! If Trudeau would always talk and act like this, he'd for sure still be prime minister. Sadly he doesn't. \nBut this was such a great speech, wonderful. As a Canadian for 45 years, we all know others write his speeches and this like many of his speeches sounds overly scripted. In this respect, I actually prefer Trump who has less filters when he speaks. Trump is clearly trying to save America from further drowing in debt by increasing government revenue while minimizing expenses which is commendable although I don't approve of all his tactics.

He is really going out with a bang. As a Canadian I couldn’t be more proud of this speech than I am. There is anger and disappointment in Canada. It is not anti American. It is anti insanity.

This is the sort of clear minded speech I love to hear. Direct, truthful and aimed at the people who are going to end up most hurt by all of this - the Americans themselves. Europe as always, is wishy washy. Appease, appease, appease, and while Starmer behaved in a diplomatically correct way, as usual he is all smoke and mirrors. No substance to him at all.
