I’m a local Canadian and I very much agree with you. I’m planning on leaving as well and never moving back here. Canada used to be nice but now it’s just extremely expensive, residents are RIDICULOUSLY overtaxed, we’re not getting back the value of what we were taxed for, large cities like Toronto are overpopulated and thus the culture is highly diluted, left wing government, not to mention the cold wet and dark winters these days :(

I'm Canadian born and raised.The main problem is too many people are left leaning so we have the same problems as California,to much bureaucracy,high taxes,crime,homelessness,drugs etc that's all a biproduct of liberalism.High taxes are needed to fund left wing policies like the climate scam,giving billions to ukraine,womens groups,gay groups etc the useless bureaucrats have to justify their position so millions of unnecessary and pointless policies are imposed.I'm a welder and the bs you have to go through is so extream many just give up and do something else.As for immigrants it effects them too so we have doctors driving cabs or nurses working at mcdonalds etc these problems really started to be an issue when Canada got progressive in the mid 90s and never recovered.I heard 50k of born and raised Canadians have been leaving every year for the last 3 years with no end in sight.My countrymen need to wake up and dump left wing thinking and bring back the conservatism from the past that built this country or there won't be a Canada.

I can understand why people want to leave or not come to Canada, weather, cold weather can last up to six months and the summer isn’t always that great. Another reason, taxes…. Canadians are taxed to death here, you are taxed on everything here and if you make good money and aren’t paying enough taxes, you could pay a good chunk come tax time. Job market sucks, there are lots of jobs but these jobs don’t pay the greatest. Cost of living has skyrocketed over the years and in my personal opinion, since Justin Trudeau has been PM, everything has doubled in cost, so many people are struggling, many young couples can’t afford a house, rent has been on the rise over the years and so many people rely on the food banks, the highest it’s ever been in Canadian history, crime has gone up and drug use has also gone up and oddly enough, ever since Trudeau has been in charge and I’m sure some will disagree with this but Canada was never like this before Trudeau.

This is so odd for me because I am having a similar experience, but in the opposite. I live in a small town in Michigan, USA that is very Christian, conservative, and republican. It's very much a place that I want to leave (so maybe in that way we are similar?), but most of my family lives here so it's difficult. I crave a sense of community where I can be surrounded by like-minded people. There is a feeling of division, one that I think is amplified by social media. I don't want to add to that separation, but it seems like there's a hard line in the sand and you're on one side or the other. \n I could never move away from my home country! It's so weird watching other people do it, and it makes me think about the people who stayed during mass exodus in, for example, Scotland. It's like, I share ancestry with Scottish people, but they don't have an immigrant-based background. Ya'll stayed? How does that work?? And here I am, staying. Does that make sense?

Communism is taking over the west. It’s sickening, but that’s what happens when you let go of Christianity. The west only became what it did due to Christianity, without it, it will revert back to tyranny and Savagery. I am a Christian, and I have been married to an amazing North African (a practicing) Muslim woman for the past 17 years. By the way, we have lived in five different majority Muslim countries, but Malaysia is by far the best one of all. We have friends who moved to Europe from North Africa and the Middle East. However, Canada is definitely better than Europe, the Middle East, or Pakistan or any other Muslim country for any Muslim man or woman. We have very close Pakistani friends who moved to Canada from Dubai, and they will never consider moving back to either the Middle East or Pakistan. I don't agree with the Saleh family's reasons for leaving Canada, other than the cold weather. I wish them happiness and safety wherever they go. FREE PALESTINE!!

Just a note, if the countries that you are considering, you have only visited as a tourist, a longer stay (maybe 6 months or so) may give you a better idea on what it actually is like.\n\nI am from (or rather, my family is, and I still have a majority of my family in) one of the countries you mentioned, and while every single thing you mention about it is true, many of the reasons you are choosing to leave Canada for is also applicable, though it may not be apparent to a visitor.\n\nPulling out and setting new roots are never easy, even if it may be the right choice. All your reasons are the same reasons me and my husband want to leave Germany. Both of us were born here. Grew up here, but the stance what German Politicians are taking and how they are pushing the people here to hate on Muslims is insane. I always faced racism as a brown kid, as Germans in the 90s were super racist. My parents fled a genocide and ethnic cleansing themselves. So they thought at least we kids would grow up happy and safe here. Never felt home and at peace in this country. Ironic when you think how they are obsessed here with rules and laws. This war let us realise that these laws are being applied selectively. And so we made the decision to save up our money for the next 2- 3 years and as soon my husband finishes his higher education we are going to leave this country for good.

I would suggest that you move to Saudi Arabia, preferably into or around Makkah or Madinah. I believe that these two are the best cities in the world for Muslims. Imagine the understanding and appreciation they'd have of the Quran and Hadith moreover, they'd be able to reap benefits from the work of all major scholars. InshaaAllah. If his opinion was the one to go by, Malaysia is to be ranked as the best country in the world. It has everything you would want according to your list of why you're leaving Canada: warm weather; affordable; Muslim nation; doesn't support israehell. I live in Michigan. I hate it here for the exact same reasons you outlined. I have literally never traveled outside of Michigan EVER due mostly to fear and anxiety of traveling. The Arab nation should first give an open door policy for a temporary shelter or refugee like the Europeans or America did for Ukraine. This notion that Palestinians don’t want to leave for a temporary refugee is very questionable. Just open your country and see if they will not go!!! Anyone is a free country should choice to evacuate to a safer country like Saudi, UAE, Bahrain or other golf countries. That incident is the one that led few sikhs but not all to ask for a separate nation that should be named Khalistan and I want the media to not to call those sikhs “extremists”in foreign countries, we can call them Sikhs asking for separate country, they can not be called “Khalistanis” either because Khalistan doesn’t exist. Also, sikhs and Hindus always got along well. In all India, there are sikhs living everywhere just like Hindus. There was never a conflict or dispute between them. I grew up in a society where my neighbors are all mixed Hindus and Punjabis. As much as Sikhs visit Hindu Temples same goes for Hindus visiting Gurudawaras. How about our film industry, there are so many sikh Punjabis like the Kapoors, the Malhotras, they don’t want to leave India also. I don’t want to my Indian sikhs to make a separate nation. I want the Indian police not to discriminate against certain religion and not be biased. That is a obvious thing that if you are doing good in your home country then why would you leave it? Why for your children? If you can do good then why cannot your children do good as well. People now days think after moving to a new country they should be able to live the same way and work at same position within 2-5 years on what position they were working in their home country. The solution to all these problems is not to make the Palestinians a Muslim or Arab country. The solution to all these problems is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. There is no other solution to this problem. There is another question that people ask why an Arab country or a Muslim country is not giving shelter to the Palestinians, so the answer is that the Palestinians have their own country, the Palestinian country is Palestine and they have the right to live on their land. Born in Canada and the dream is to leave. It's too cold here to be taxed so high and have the rest of your salary to go to housing. Can never retire and it will suck to grow old here unless you hit the lottery and then it's still very cold.

A South African who lived there a few years. Nothing felt better than getting on the plane to leave, and knowing I will never have to return. Even South Africa with the crime and load shedding is by far better. In many ways a man is more free here even if i have to live behind security systems. I can speak my mind without fear of some PC police and censorship, which is far worse prison. My standard of living is also far better here. I can ride my bikes as I please where in Canada I can only ride a few months and would lose my license in a month due to BS fines. And the people here are much more open and truly hospitable, not some fake politeness. I even missed the blacks here, who at least i can joke and chat with far easier than with canadians. I found I have more in common with black africans than with white canadians who look like me and speak the same language. We may have the same skin colour but are totally different in culture. It made me realise I am more african than western, proud of it, and I would prefer to live and die with the african sun on my face with wide open space, than in some dark, cold, gloomy place living in cramped quarters in some libtard paradise constrained by so many laws. My family came to Canada 5 years ago. The main reason was because my dad had been busy setting up a branch of his European company here for two years. He wanted to launch this new branch and then retire early. Canada as he knew it was a good option for him to do this. We even had a house long before we came to Canada. And we now live on the west coast of Canada. \n \nFor us, the transition to feeling at home here wasn't particularly difficult. We also had enough experience of what it was like to live in other countries. Canada actually turned out to be a very easy country to quickly settle in. \n \nI've heard that Canadians can be reserved, but my personal experience is completely different. \n \nNevertheless, I got to know fellow immigrants who didn't find it easy to get started in Canada. In my experience, they were not very or only rudimentarily informed about what to expect in Canada. Their expectations were very high and they failed because of the reality of everyday Canadian life. \n \nOthers had similar experiences, but they persevered and ultimately arrived in Canada. Some of my fellow students are international students who are also considering leaving the country because Canada doesn't offer what they were hoping for as a better life here. \n \nThe reasons are really too individual in nature to really generalize. I think there should be a lot more help given to people who are struggling with their fate in Canada, because there are enough programs that they could take advantage of but that they never hear about. \n \nUltimately, it may help if someone just listens to them and perhaps has some advice, no matter how vague it may be. Those who finally arrive in Canada after years of a long odyssey and find this country something like home are, in my opinion, those who never gave up.
