Kuwait kicked out over 300,000 Palestinians because they collaborated with Saddam during the Iraqi occupation. Egypt shares a border with Gaza, yet they will not let Gazans enter Egypt. Why? Because Palestinians are trouble.

Their land is Jordan. They started this war.

I hate to say this, but we have reverted and it’s not just a dark place to live. It’s a Third World country and only the privileged to benefit from it. I can see a Civil War starting soon with the politics with the corruption over water and gas we sell it to all other nations, barely, leaving nothing for ourselves. The Arab nations knows history very well, especially the Jordanians and the Lebanese, they take a lot of Palestinian refugees before, but look what happened, King Abdullah almost lost his control of Jordan because the PLA started to revolt against him even Jordan openly welcomed the Palestinians to seek refuge after Israel boot them out in 1948 and thats how they rewarded Jordan for keeping them. Lebanon is the Paris of the Middle east, not until PLA that's were kick out from Jordan started to mingle in Lebanons internal affairs and the civil war happened and look what happened to Lebanon. Arab can help the Palestinians in a great way, but knowing the history of Palestinians, they don't want to repeat what Jordan and Lebanon did before, and that is to take Palestinian refugees.

I came in the 80s to canada as a landed immigrant which is equivalent to a PR now. Life was much easier for newcomers then to start. Jobs were readily available and with a good command of the English language and a broader mind to accept other cultures and people i felt the adaptation was good. As for the struggles i had lots of patience and didn't mind doing my own chores. Cook clean at home and work in a 9 to 5 office job. I even volunteered as a Sunday school teacher to young children. I also kept my hobby as an artist. It depends on ones courage and patience and ability to adapt in a foreign country. Canada was the best decision i took for me and my family especially my children who graduated here.yes now i am retired over 60 and yes i do spend time abroad including india while it snows here? after covid and the ongoing wars and the recession around the world life is not the same in any part of the world. You have to make the best decision for your particular situation you are in. I never regretted coming to Canada ??.

I agree about integration. And it’s not just about Indians. For example, here in Calgary almost all barbershops are run by East Africans. Whenever I try to explain something in plain English, they have a hard time understanding me. Or when they try to start a small talk but when I answer their question, they have no idea what I said. It gets super frustrating when people just can’t understand you due to their poor language skills. Am I the only immigrant who learned the language at a high enough level to function in the society BEFORE I came to the country? It’s not like there’s a war in India so they have no time to learn English before coming here.

They were given their land in 2005. They chose terror instead of development and prosperity. When you start a war, you can't expect when defeated to revert to conditions pre-war.

I truly believe this all revolves around the housing crisis. Not enough housing can be built. Canadians with options are not taking low-income jobs. It's not a survivable wage anymore. Came to Canada as a Dentist? Doesn't matter, you need to climb the ladder again and in the meantime work as a Receptionist making minimum wage.\n\nImmigrants with money are obligated to prove themselves. Buy housing, start a business. Numerous cities such as Brampton are being filled with slums. Housing a double digit of residents in the basement at absurd costs so the landlords can afford their ridiculous mortgages and lifestyle off the back of other immigrants/refugees.\n\nThe main issue is the hate directed towards immigrants. First of all, in the video it was disgusting for the man to acknowledge that someone was wearing good clothes and asking where the refugee center is. Someone can be a refugee and still have money. That's the ideal refugee. Someone with money in a war-torn country such as Sudan are high targets and completely deserve to run away to a safe country like Canada - especially if they can afford to spend money and stimulate the economy.\n\nStop attacking the people. We have to accept this lack of education happened in other countries too. It is going to take a long time to educate America and even then the next generation will forget what Sikhs represent. More than half of US imports come from Mexico. Mexico has helped out the US in war many times. Mexicans help keep your agriculture up and running and for a very very low wage without a problem. You have a right to a land, as well as obligations and responsabilities for inhabitating that land. You can't be crossing into your neighors country and start butchering people in name of your god and then expect another state to tolerate that. When you start 4 wars in 4 decades (the first one the very next day after formally creating the state) let's say your intentions will at the very least be doubted, and you aren't exactly going to be trustworthy to be left unsupervised for eventual aggression.

I guess we did a right move. During the cold war we moved to Canada in Jan 1990 from former Czechoslovakia after spending almost 2 years in Austria to enjoy freedom. I remember renting a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 balconies in Brampton /ON for 360/M. In Mississauga 600/M for a 5 bedroom townhouse. Later on in Orangeville/ON I bought a fully detached house with a nice land with own swings and slides a swimming pool for 144 000.00. When the non stupidity in law started in 2002 we sold our house packed our things and went back to Europe. I always loved Canada as my second home but I guess the table has turned and we cherish freedom elsewhere. I am really sad about what's going on with Canada but it isn't really that hard to figure out why.
