As an Indian I have already integrated to Nz culture. Indian should be taught to behave as they are lacking a civic sense how to behave in public without disturbing others

Well Indians go to Canada to work. They dont start fights or cause problems. If they are all living in one area what’s the problem? They are here in the UAE as well and live more or less in a community. Does not mean they don’t integrate. I have cousins in Ontario who have married non Indians. It’s the governments fault for bringing in so many people and not providing adequate housing. These people come in with whatever they have and then struggle to make ends meet and then have to leave if they can’t afford it anymore so it’s bad both ways.

Because you asked, most Indians in my local area won't speak to me. I say hi they put smirk on there face and walk by. I also believe that part of the hate comes from the fact Canadians are willing to integrate your religions into our country politics and police force. But what do you contribute back in the way of culture. Where are the ayurvedic stores, tan dav dance centers. The Koreans or our country gave us tae kwon do . The Chinese gave us karate. I myself have been wanting to learn Hindi but can't find anyone to teach me because they just don't talk to me.

i live in Canada, but lets be factual. they say when you are in rome, behave like a roman. Indiand carry everything in India to Canada and do not integrate and actually become a canadian.

In the past when immigration controls were stricter, the country attracted only highly educated individuals with decent backgrounds. While some less-educated people did manage to immigrate during that time, many of them were asylum seekers without much influence over the system. However, with the recent relaxation of immigration policies, a significant number of uneducated and less-educated immigrants have been migrating. This shift is contributing to certain issues, as these individuals often lack the language and job skills necessary to integrate into society independently. As a result, they tend to form concentrated communities, such as in Brampton. Additionally, various loopholes in the immigration system are making it easier for low-skilled immigrants to enter into the country. This is not a problem pertaining to Indians, there are others too, but they don't get focus due to their low numbers.

I think this discussion is outside of just economics, these foreigners will have huge societal impacts as well; especially since many now don’t want to integrate into Canadian culture

Look, I'm a white Canadian, and I don't hate Indians at all. However, lately, there are far too many Indians arriving here. I live in a small town, and the vast majority of the workers in all our franchise restaurants, Walmart, hotels, etc, are Indian. Yes, some Indians really have been pooping on the beach. I've seen videos posted by Indians about Indians pooping on beaches in places like Goa. No, not all Indians do that, but it doesn't reflect well on Indians. My next-door neighbours are Indian immigrants, and stereotypically, they own a pizza franchise lol. Their children play at our house with our daughter almost every day. On a negative note, they only hire other Indians to work in their store. In general, the indians that are in Canada do need to work on their cultural integration. My neighbours brought their parents over, and they aren't even trying to learn English. I don't want Canada to become like India. Also, I dont think that most Indian immigrants really want that either, but if we keep flooding Canada with Indians, that will eventually happen.

The blame doesn't go to immigrants necessarily... it's those who don't want to integrate and the Canadian citizens who are afraid to require people assimilate

Immigrants must integrate with local native communities,,must not cause marginalisation of natives,,govt must also not allow too much immigration in one place,,and not allow dilution of native culture and systems and values.

When immigration is so massive in the hundreds of thousands per year that is surpasses a country's capacity to integrate them especially if you consider the tremendous cultural difference between Canadians and Indians. Indians as the newcomers are not doing enough to adapt their way of life to embrace the local culture, creating a huge cultural gap between them and their Canadians hosts. Take Brampton as an example, the overwhelming number of Indians there is completely changing the cultural environment of that city and white Canadians dont identity anymore with their city, some have been there for over 100 years, now they feel like strangers and the end up by wanting to leave.

I'd say the problem isn't Indians or any immigrants, but the leeway that the government gives. The government doesn't even 'force' people to integrate. Yeah, all parties suck, but Trudeau made it worse. And also, just in recent years the policies are bad.

Canada does not need growth and it doesn't need more immigrants. It needs a Government that possess honesty and integrity to clean up the corruption.

Myself working and living in Germany since last 3 years as a blue card holder IT professional. To this date, I have made 0 contacts in germany, making friends here is a far fetched dream. People just don't even look at a stranger person of colour. To them, we are auslanders who are not fit to integrate in their so called german culture. The housing crunch and slow lathargic medical system makes Germany even less attractive. The government needs to understand that not everyone from different parts of the world can learn German. The IT professionals don't get enough time to even look after their health during day to day office activities, on top of it, they are asked to learn german post office hours. Its too much for me.

Agree with every word… I am a Punjabi Canadian and have been here for over 18 years. Indians are embarrassing- the square isn’t your Khalsa college fest. I have seen Indians abusing food banks, healthcare, tax dollars. The students who buy cars drive rash, rude customer service at Tim Hortons and other grocery stores. You have left india for a reason- so learn the Canadian culture and try and integrate.

I have C1 certificate and work in Management consulting in Munich. Me along with other non native speakers (there are just a handful, though), are blatantly excluded from group conversation, where they use full range of idioms, proverbs, bon mots, colloquialisms, cultural and regional references, even local dialects, and refuse to budge even a centimeter for non-native speakers. Integration in Germany is a hamster wheel.\nLots of well educated foreigners are refused an enagagement in their intellectual level because they cannot analyse Wittgenstein!

There have been Indians here my whole life. They were very respectable, hard working and educated. They integrated well into Canadian society and contributed. The past 10 years or so we have been flooded with Indians and Middle Easterners who refuse to integrate and have a taking mentality. It’s making Canadians very angry and resentful. Canadians of all backgrounds. Why are we disproportionally allowing people in from Western Asia? We need a balance of people from everywhere. We also need to get a lot pickier about who we allow in. It’s infuriating having so many foreign students. I blame the government for all of this. Meanwhile what we really mean by multiculturalism is be Canadian FIRST and on special occasions or in the privacy of your own home celebrate your ancestry. Indians want to change Canada to India, they don’t try to integrate

I’m an expat from Southeast Asia and have been living in Germany and the Netherlands for over 14 years. While I’ve occasionally encountered racism, overall, I’m happy living in Germany. I’ve been fortunate that all of my jobs so far have only required English, but speaking German is crucial for building friendships and having a social life. Like any other countries, Germany has pros and cons. That said, I also agree with the perspective that, to integrate, learning the language is essential. After all, if someone isn’t willing to speak the language, why would they choose to live in that country?

The government should nip it in the blood. Deport them.They are basically dishonest and lack integrity.

I think it boils down to the issue of mass immigration as you pointed out earlier in the video. People don’t like to observe sudden and drastic transformation of their country’s cultural and ethnic make up. The Trudeau government is the one primarily responsible for this when he’s importing half a million immigrants a year not only it causes housing shortage but also not enough time to integrate the migrants that are coming and it becomes unsustainable. Hence when there’s stories such as “pooping on the beach by East Indian migrants” emerges it simply shows a symptom of unsustainable immigration where some immigrants bring in their disgusting 3rd world habits and don’t realize the common sense social norms that exist in the country they’ve migrated to and learn to adapt. And yes there are way too many Indians in Canada and it’s quite noticeable, they often don’t respect Canadian culture and values and don’t properly integrate.

I am West Indian, descendent of India indentured workers. I love my country of birth, Canada where I have lived since 3, and I have much love and pride in my Indian roots. That being said, I have come to feel embarrassed of being taken for East Indian by other Canadian people. I moved to small city outside of Toronto in 2004. I loved it here! People were so welcoming, kind, friendly. I felt no prejudicial treatment from any of my neighbours. \nFast forward, my little city is now overrun with new Indian immigrants. I can’t tell if I am in the heart of Toronto or Brampton or my city of Oshawa. \nThe Indian people I encounter in the grocery store are pushy, have no Canadian manners, speak their language loudly, come to the stores with their entire family which fills up the isles and cause long lines. All the sale items are sold out by the time you get there because Indians are filling their cart with as much as they can purchase of any of the on sale merchandise. This never happened before. \nI am also saddened by being assaulted when an Indian person passes by and wave of body order sickens me. I don’t understand what the cause of that is. Not bathing regularly or not using deodorant. But I notice this everywhere I come in contact with Indians, men and women, young and old. \nI feel like I will be mistaken for East Indian myself which I have been when I went to the hospital. I was treated like I couldn’t speak English lol\nThe worst is the Muslims, they are the rudest the way they fill every available free space, make women feel uncomfortable and are just intrusive and unable to incorporate themselves with other Canadians. Problem is, all other nationalities try to integrate to the Canadian culture. But Indians here, do just as they do in India. They don't make an effort and are entitled. They can leave back to their nation. Because we are not going to let Canada turn to India.

I have been living in Germany since October 2017, and I am planning to leave soon. It is not easy to have a normal social life here. Germans talk about integration, but they don't really try to participate in it.

immigration is good. controlled immigration is good. those coming to Canada should be grateful for the opportunity given to come. new comers should adapt and integrate to their new country. they should respect the values of their new country. don't like to see other cultures come in and try to impose their beliefs and way of life.

Indians especially Panjabi dont integrate with whites and locals. If there's a vacant position, panjabi will call to their bros in the panjab, instead calling a local white for a job. Plus, panjabi people enforcing their songs and culture to the locals.

Canada has been overrun, with people that don’t integrate into existing communities and it’s destroying the fabric of the society. I’m tired of feeling like a stranger in the country I was born in. Turdeau has ruined the country.

It takes a long time to get a feeling of 'settled' here in Germany. There are a lot of positives, and a few negatives too. You will possibly never feel completely integrated, you will always feel like an outsider. But you are 'tolerated'. But my teenage kids are already feeling the pressure: this country has a self-imposed digital apartheid, no encouragement to be entrepreneurial, and failures are laughed at.

100% Indians fault. Most are rude, don’t integrate into the society, don’t accept Canadian culture, terrible cocky drivers, put machine gun stickers and other violent stickers on their vehicles.
