Am I missing something here, the United States is at a trade deficit with Canada, why wouldn’t they place tariffs on Canadian goods to equalize that deficit?

So tariffs will prevent Canada from protecting Americans ? That’s not a friend this is politics

Let’s face it, these tariffs have nothing to do with drugs or immigration, they are only meant to force Trumps delusion of Canada becoming the 51st state.

As an American I fully support Trudeau and Canada. As far as I'm concerned Canada should raise tariffs against the USA for EVERYTHING starting at 100%. The USA under Trump is now Canada's enemy, just as it is the enemy of Ukraine, Europe and the entire rest of the non-fascist world.

I seem to recall the whole tariff thing started when Donald wanted to even up the 200 billion dollar subsidy to Canada which doesn’t exist, then he chose the immigration and fentanyl crisis that doesn’t exist … can’t wait to hear the next excuse.
