It's more profitable for foreign countries to reject visa because people will try again, that just means easy money. If not then they at lest pay for the functioning of the Visa offices in India. So they don't have to pay fees to the visa interviewers, etc. It could also mean that rejecting visas is an incentive to the interviewers, hence they will make strict check before approving any visa because behind every approval they are losing money.

India should also reciprocate!

Seriously, being a traveller myself there is no place equal to India in this whole world. The lords even chose India for their avatars and here we are taking pride in visiting these places abroad which looks really a ghostly beauty devoid of divinity. It's a stupid report, obviously the visa rejection will be high if the visa applications are high from a most populated country in the world it's basic common sense , i would say India have the highest visa grant these days, I'm from India came to Australia it's not ecen harf if u have the right documents and if you're not faking anything, I'm pretty sure the rejections are mostly because of fake documents especially from Punjab and Haryana so it's good that they are not letting fake people i mean then what's the point of doing all this right way? Many people think that because they think that they are cleaver enough to circumvent visa interviews, falsify documents required to impress foreign embassy staff, get visa on false pretenses because they have money, connections in domestic government or someone overseas to curry favor them, then no wonder your visa application would be rejected and fees forfeited or you would be turned down entry to your dream country on arrival and deported back to your home country. Some students from india who apply for student visas dont go to school to study, but instead take advantage of going to work there. The main issue is with Indian that they don’t know how to behave when they go out of India. They think that whole world is India and behave indecently like shouting, eating inappropriately etc.

Instead of respecting their culture and laws, we start behaving in the same way as in India .\n2. I don't want to put it out, but some people from certain places have a ready solution even if the immigration change their rules . They know every means to cheat their way in. \n3. Take, for example, 200 people come from other countries and do nonsense in India. Will we allow them ? Noooo, right ... but right now, thousands of our Indians are damaging other countries, bringing all kinds of dirty activities we do in India .Unnecessary protests are just 0.1% of them\n\nThis is the best decision taken by the other countries and it should become more strict in the coming days

all this harangues.....is tedious. why are you rooting for visas? since the 80s, i have seen any and every indian that was barely intelligent enough to be productive in the rest of the world leave the country....except one or two, whole batches of classes from our graduation, masters classes have left....and these were ppl who benefitted from the almost free higher education given the indian state...so, stop rooting for visas, s if it is a good thing for out country..unless ppl are travelling to conduct some business activities abroad, every visa obtained means one loss for india....

Indians need to drop certain behaviors when they leave India and learn how to behave in the west. Maybe then, some countries may reconsider their visa formalities. I’m predicting that SE Asian countries are going to soon remove visa on arrival status for Indians because of their tactless behavior exhibited for all to see.

We have like idiots and uncultured people outside. We shout like idiots, treat the locals poorly. I once saw a person who thought the air hostess in a Bhubaneswar- Thailand flight was a prostitute and started touching her and taking pictures. I had to look elsewhere in shame and hated for being born in India among such people. \n\nSo yeah, learn from Japanese or Thai or other well cultured people to behave well, be kind, have humility before asking for travel ease.

Ethics and civil behavior is needed in India itself. If people travelling in planes with a bit of money start to think they can get away with any kind of sh** then sorry but this is bound to happen.\n\nI saw behavior of some while travelling to Malaysia how some of them were just demanding business class upgrades because they had a child. Another who just sat in one seat thinking he can get away with it and gets into an argument with the stewardess. Pathetic behaviour really. It is sad we did not invest much either in our families own and in schools to correct this. We should learn how to behave in public by the Japanese. They are the gold standard.

And stop this racism and untouchability of not even allowing Indian visa applicants in India to enter embassy. This must stop.

In India visa fees are a scam and getting a visa is a gamble. I believe gambling is illegal in most parts of India.

Indians are running away from India in bulk, the concept of Supply and Demand is applicable everywhere, the supply of Indians trying to run away from India is far more than the demand for these people in other countries..as an Indian I would like other countries to send all these people back to India, most of these people belong to the families of corrupt Politicians, Government officers and the Tax evading businessmen.?

The Central Govt should tell foreign embassies especially Western ones with steep visa fees that they can only charge the fee after the person receives the visa. If his application is rejected he pays zero. Charging steep visa fees and rejecting is equivalent to scamming people. Either you tell the person beforehand he won't receive visa. Also visa fees must be reduced as they are much higher in India than most countries.

The problem is fear that Indians will travel to the West and not go back. Not just Indians, but Africans, South Americans and many Asian countries do the same. I've lived in the US for 55 years. There was an Indian music troop that came to the US to perform, maybe 20 people, including singers, musicians, comedians etc. After their tour in the US, half of them did not return to India. They figured they can make a better living in the US and live here as an illegal immigrant. This is too common. The next time when a troop of musicians want a US visa, chances are the immigration office will think twice about approving a visa. I can travel anywhere with a US passport because people know that Americans will return back to the US.

Be in your own country. We should not take back those who have left India. They are traitors
