As someone who was born in the U.S. I can’t stand what this country has turned into. It’s despicable and disgusting. I will not stand for the national anthem and I encourage any other American to do so. I hope Canada takes trump down. Thank you Canada for being a great country and for standing up to bullies. i am Canadian.....\n\ni am embarrassed by trump and feel for my American brothers..... i want to know what the end game is for trump - if he feels he gonna bully Canada or other nations he has grossly underestimated those that have supported the US through thick and thin...\n\nif his end game is under cutting NATO - he should review history and realize that the only country that ever requested helps officially under NATO was the US which we in Canada offered no questions asked...\n\nall i say to my Amercian brothers, his term is only 4yrs - we will welcome you back into the fold when this nonsense with Trump is over... I just hope that my politicians dont cause any nonsense and toe the line in being professional...

It’s honestly such a disgusting feeling to be an American right now. I love my country and many of its people but the trump administration is tarnishing this country and making it an embarrassment across the globe. I feel powerless and angry. I hope for the best and I fully support this response Canada.

Canada: There are plenty of Americans 100% with you and the rest of our allies. These are not my presidents (we apparently have two) and my sincere hope is that they will not only be removed from office very soon, but thereafter tried, prosecuted, and imprisoned for high treason against the United States and for defrauding its people. I do hope that Canada, EU and Britain will work together, there is no reason Britain and EU cannot replace America as the main trade partners and I have seen plenty of other videos about other asian countries indicating interest in Canada's trade.\n\nBut this is much more than just tariffs, Trump has really gone off the deepend siding with Russia and undermining Ukraine, even undermining the sanctions, I wouldn't be surprised if he is already trading with Russia, using whatever bizarre pretext he chooses.\n\nThese should already be red flags to Canada, there is a long standing relationship with the UK and Ukraine, but Canada is only reacting on the tariffs, which detracts from what other action they might have taken.\n\nThe imposition of these tariffs should be the straw that breaks the camels back, I hope that if America repeals these tariffs that Canada will still diversify so that they don't ever end up in this situation again.

It’s so funny the excuse that Trump uses to justify his actions against allies such as Canada when in reality there is far more drugs going from USA to Canada than there is the other way around. Western Canadian here. Our current liberal government opened immigration to bizarre levels over the last several years I believe to get more liberal voters. Our country is in a bad way and don’t blame Trump for clamping down. Trudeau and now Carney are quite happy to keep the WEF plan going. Hopefully we get a common sense conservative government in Canada soon !
