tyler i don't think u realize how bad the usa education system really is. i'm canadian but have lost count of the number of usa teachers who have complained about how bad they are held back from teaching kids properly, how kids can't be failed or held back, how kids graduating gr 12 can't read or write past gr 6 level. in fact recently there was a statistic put out that something like 60% of ALL americans cant read or write past gr 6. considering all your universities that is terrifying. not to mention with gun violence, straight up violence among kids and at teachers, the disrespect and the severe lack of good parenting, kids are not being educated at all. u yourself have done videos on where someone interviews americans and asked them questions about canada and they haven't got a clue. not one clue. yet canadian kids are regularly taught all about their american neighbours. are kids know more about america then american kids do and thats shameful. u need to do some research on this because unless u live in a rich gated elite community and go to private school the public education system in the usa is very dismal and woefully inadequate. \nalso he's right about politics. here we can discuss it rationally and then move on to other topics. in the states ppl are shooting ppl over differences in politics. beating ppl up trashing their cars and property etc. and many police are definitely not presenting themselves with professionalism tons of racism going on. and so many police because everyone is armed. here in canada we are not allowed handguns and pretty much ppl only have hunting rifles. it takes a lot of work and clearance not to mention time and money to take the necessary classes and get the necessary permits to even own a hunting rifle. in the usa show a drivers license and wait 10 days u have a handgun no matter how mental u are. therefore u need way more police than here in canada. i think u have a well to do upbringing so u have not and do not see the true picture of the america u live in. \nalso i have talked to many american friends who had insurance and still cost them about $5000 per birth of a child. with good insurance and working full time. so thats about average. here in canada u pay nothing except maybe parking for hubby while he visits.

I'm all for legal immigration but I don't think the US can handle any more people at the moment. I don't know about anyone else, but it's been brutal for me personally to find a job for a couple of months just to get by until my other job is good to go for the season. I've never had to claim unemployment (I always found another job within a week or two), and I've been suffering for the past 6 months. I'm more than qualified for some of the applications I have filled out, but yet I feel like just because I'm a white woman, I get skipped over. I've applied to around 50-70 jobs and only had 2 interviews. Thankfully, I still live at home, but if i didn't, I'd be wayyy more screwed. I believe America needs to take care of it's legal citizens first, then we can worry about others.

Hi everyone, I'm just going to weigh in some experience here. These people have given up on their government to fix things. They had it good before when Venezuela was wealthy not so long ago. They want that back. Who wouldn't. They want a chance at a better life . They have in most cases already sold all possessions for traveling money and bribes or security. They are scared and tired of traveling. They got told to come to America by someone. I wish we could afford as a country to take them all and it be ok and they build a good life here. I wish it was like that. The system we have needs work for certain. The USA is being overwhelmed by too many coming. We have to slow the roll . But it's a bad situation for all involved. They will look for an illegal way if needed to make it. Hence the cartels step in and offer a way in exchange for money or drug smuggling and the trouble gets worse. There is no simple solution here. Rough on everyone.

You didn't address the elephant in the room. When we go abroad we follow the same rules as we have in India. We start working which violates the regulations of tourist visas. I'm not surprised we have a high rejections rate, we are a nuisance everywhere we go.

Why is everyone worried about them being handcuffed or shackled if they were flown back home. It would have been worst if they just dumped them in Mexico or Canada and told them go back home the way you came here. If I’m not mistaken they traveled by foot, bus, trains. We went to Toronto 2 years ago and it felt like heaven ! I had no idea that Canada was going through hard times (I don’t watch the news !) When I watched the first minutes of your video I was about to tell you « well, same here in France »… but I have to say that the pictures of people on drugs are shocking ! There are enough trans athletes in the world and good enough shape to compete on a world in Olympic level and all the levels beneath those, that I'm going to say that if someone transitions who is already in the military and they can still pass all the requirements to remain in the military, they should be allowed to remain in the military. Edward Snowden, while in boot camp, and correct me if I'm wrong but I think he was training as a Navy SEAL, hopped off his bunk and his shins that were already broken disconnected and threw him on the floor. After his surgeries and Rehabilitation he was allowed to return to training. And this was with two broken legs that took weeks to announce themselves by disconnecting and misaligning to the point he could no longer Walk and Run on them. If he can do that then somebody suffering through all the crap that they have to go to go through to become another gender and the hormone balance they have to maintain afterward and they can still do their job they can still get in the rain, they can still run an easy 10 before breakfast, with a full pack they can still Shoot Straight they can still command they can still follow they still love this country and want to uphold our Constitution and defend it against all enemies foreign and domestic, then they should be allowed to stay in the military. A physical and mental Fitness is all that's required then I'm going to say this officer qualifies. When I've gone into Emergency here in Canada, you first check in and then wait for about 10 minutes to go through triage. They ask you why you've come and go over your symptoms. Then you go back and wait again. I've gone in for pneumonia at least twice. Both times I was sent for a quick check of my heart (because one of my symptoms was chest pain). When that came out fine, I was sent back to wait more. After about 20-30- minutes I was called to come into a more interior waiting area. There I just sat and dozed for several hours. Once I was in and out in 3 hours, which was really fast! Generally I count on a minimum of 5-6 hours from entry to exit. But I haven't gone in with life threatening problems. One was an injured knee. I just know that if I have to wait a long time, then I'm probably ok! If I got in too quickly, I'd worry! But there was no charge except to rent crutches one time and for the antibiotics I needed to go and get at the pharmacy. \nMy brother's first child was born a bit early but was very tiny. He had to stay in the hospital for about a month. He was also born by emergency C-section. At the end of all this, my brother said that the biggest expense was their parking bill for visiting so often. That would probably have been about $15 per day.

It's not just all the parties supporting Canada's counter tariffs. The Canadian people are in support, across political, cultural, economic and geographical lines. Canada has not been as unified about anything that I can remember (and I'm old). Plus, Canadians are a stubborn people with a more community oriented attitude than the USA and we don't like bullies. If we have to change brands of food, stop drinking bourbon and American beer, pay a bit more, even pay more taxes to cover the costs for people affected... so be it. BUT... when the tariff's are lifted, don't be so sure we'll just start buying American again. Stubborn also means we don't let things go easily.

A lot of us Americans remember learning about the tariff wars in history class that ended up in deciding fair trade was the better route. I fear we’re about to learn the same lesson again…\n\nAs far as the drug trade goes apparently the GOV doesn’t spend enough time on the internet because the cartels are no longer just in Mexico they’re in the USA and in Canada. They have learned the Canadian border is a lot easier to cross and they can get into BC pretty easily due to relaxed immigration policies In Canada.. they probably don’t actually know where the drugs are coming from or where they’re being manufactured entirely. The cartels are probably a step ahead of them at the moment. \n\nI can’t believe the auto industry lobbyists were not instructed to go full send on the detriment of the opposite position taken from the NAFTA. The only thing I can see is auto sales are slumping and maybe they can blame this on the tariff policy for massive restructuring. \n\nI kind of understand wanting to negotiate with Mexico because they probably buy less American goods than Americans buy Mexican goods (drugs excluding) but I’m guessing Canada is a better customer of American goods than Americans are of Canadian goods. Why would you want to upset a good partner, customer, and ally!? It’s Beyond my comprehension…. If Trump was really smart he’d convince some factories to actually invest in Mexico with cooperation from the Mexican government investing in efficient transportation from the manufacturing sectors to the American border and the coasts for distribution. This would likely really help their economy and change the whole dynamic of all the things Trump has issues with. Fix it at the source not try to treat the symptoms.

A cousin in NY is having his 1st super-bowl party. I told'm to forget it & go to his dad's house & watch it. He's got a generator,.. & Canada might decide to cut off all electrical power to the mid-west, New England & NY, a couple seconds after the opening kick off in N.O.! You don't need our resources Mr. pres? Then do without. You don't need the closest most secure trading route you'll ever have, & for unlimited natural resources. OK! There's a big world to trade with.
