There are enough Indians all over Europe, Americas and Australia. Many of them specially in the USA and Canada are illegal in high numbers. In Canada and USA, Indians have ruined their own reputation by getting involved into fraud activities, breaking laws of the host countries by bringing people from India and making them work illegally. So, naturally, the rejection rates are much higher for tourist visa and not for business visas as such. The solution is India should build infrastructure inside the country so that people don't need to rush abroad for a better life. Equality doesn't mean providing access to anyone who can potentially misuse the resource of a country.

Things not mentioned in here are that number of people applying for foreign visas have increased significantly and number of visas accepted are relatively same. Which is why rejection rates looks like it’s gone up ? I’m disappointed with Palki Sharma. There is lot more bias here vs when working in Gravitas

India should reciprocate with same kind of visa fees and rejection rates to these countries. then only it will change.

We don’t need these ‘privileged’ countries to survive. They need us more than we need them. Let’s degrade their visas and reciprocate their rejection rate. We can survive better in a friendly world with mutual respect than in a world of racist colonialists or wannabe racists. Europe is paying a price for their stupidity. American is next.

Government of India must constitute an internal cheking system before any Indian citizen submit any Visa application to another nation. Like this all substandard applications can be stopped internally and external rejection rate, prestige of Indian passport could be managed better ❤❤❤

Improve trade and cut H4 visas for US as i have no idea on other countries. H4 visa housewives will really depressed in a country like US. because of depression crime rate will be more.? sometimes you wont have any indian friends near by even it has more indian immigrants. Give jobs to indians who are living there for generations. They must have contributed tons of inputs larger foreign trade income etc... Ask their inputs and India should make policies supportive or non supportive to indians. Dont send indians. They will suffer. And total number of ranks are around 100, because there are 2-3 countries on single spot..slipping 5 rank mean slipping below 10-15 countries.. \nVisa on Arrival does not only depend on passport ranking, it depends on the host countries as well, e.g Kenya has made visa-free(Visa on Arrival) free for everyone accross the world. Most of of the touris friendly countries are issuing free Visa-on-Arrival just to boom their tourism sector...On the contrary, now we don't get any Visa-on-Arrival for any European country, earlier we had access of Visa-on-Arrival for Serbia. \nSituation is getting worse day-by-day, many countries are not accepting INR at the Airport(though you can exchange at their local market, but conversion rate is very poor)

You know why they are rejected and it serves them right. Their behaviour is pathetic all round. No respect for the countries rules and regulations. Are very ignorant and think they are it. The rejection rate is too low !

The rejection rate is increasing as we Indian are going out at a pace which is greater than any of the given country especially if we compare ourselves with China. Second is the civic sense, we have little to no civic sense when we cant keep our own country clean. Third is the general sentiment in the host country, as we are highly skilled and take most of jobs, western people with their inferiority complex cant handle it hence ranking India in the 85th Position.

Be careful with Canada and New Zealand, especially with student visas, they only want your visa fees, the rejection rate is higher than 60%. As these countries are 'no man's land, because it is invaded and colonized by Europeans, at least they must refund the visa fees, once rejected...

One reason for this is pseudo journalists like Palki who keep trumpeting the ruling party line about India's achievements instead of telling the truth. India is 1.4 billion strong. If a European country gives Indians easier access on visa, we will flood that country. You already have Dunkis thronging in droves, illegally entering US and Canada. And the way Indians behave in other countries, I would say this rejection rate is more than justified.

The reason for Indian visa being in the 81st rank is the number of people who want to migrate....other countries cannot allow lakhs of Indians who wish to relocate to their country....on the other hand, countries like Kosovo or Burkina Faso are tiny countries by population and have a very low rate of migration to other countries....Indian large-scale migration can be seen as a threat by other countries....

Ma'am, when a country makes it harder for citizens of a particular country to enter their country, it is often because of the number of recorded incidents, crime from people from said country. If there is a higher rate compared to people from other countries, then it becomes harder. Let's be honest here... Indians don't have a good reputation abroad when it comes to such things... I'm half Nigerians and at least many Nigerians acknowledge why lately, it is harder for Nigerians to get a visa (Obv crime as well.) Has nothing to do with discrimination. Also, look at the state of Canada. Nigeria and India need to focus on bettering their citizens so that less people go abroad, which also reduces the chance of certain people doing crime, to avoid making it harder for honest people from the same country to get a visa. Better the countries so that more countries open up for Indians, making the ranking go up. \n\nLastly, the passport index website shows India at 65, not 85. Why lie about that to fit your narrative? The passport index website is literally the first result that shows up on Google too... Not everything is about discrimination...

The Rejection rate is still very low . India can also do more to prevent illegal immigration to other countries. That gives all Indians a bad image and more scrutiny when they apply for a Visa. Like Requiring all Indians travelling overseas to have a return ticket and digital copy of their Visa, passport that can be accessed by the Indian embassy in the country they plan to visit . So if they are illegals or lose their passport, the India Embassy/Gov will know or be able to help them with a new passport to travel back to India. Digital copy is to be submitted to the Indian Embassy in the country they plan to visit days before departure, with conformation .\n\n These simple steps will bring more credibility to Indian Passport holders.

Compared to the no of applicants from India the visa rejection rate is trivial. But, most of these countries will beg for tourists from India within a decade.

There are tons of visas being approved everyday, for Indians, for multiple countries. There are a lot of reasons why a visa is rejected, incomplete application, lack of suff funds, unable to explain the reasons for travel with adequate paperwork , and lot of other issues that every consulate has to deal with across the world. If the rejection rate is over 70%, that would be a concern and best not to travel to that place anyways.

Indians are notorious for overstaying their visas. The rejection rate is actually lower than I expected.

It's not growing internally because it's too expensive. Make it affordable to get married and have kids and Canadians will start having children again

Not getting as much out of social services as you pay in is anathema to true happiness (as is paying into social services which are overwhelmingly going towards things and people which truly rate not needy). Thank you for the video. I'm 33 and Partner is 30, graduating soon from his PhD. We love Canada and everything about it but weather. However, we feel increasingly bored with life here despite the fact that we live in downtown Toronto. So we think of moving to Europe or US, haven't decided yet. Depends on jobs, cost of living and crime rates.
