If you can’t speak English don’t even attempt to move to the United States or Canada, we don’t have time for bullshit.

I was born in Seattle and left to Canada (married) when I was in early 20's! This then was a good change for me as Vancouver was a great city compared to Seattle, moved right downtown and had a blast so for a young person (then) was great. Met some great people from all over the world and had health care, medical/Dental etc.... I worked in the greater Vancouver area for 8 years and it was tough, very strict, and did not help that I was from the states, white bread Canadian seemed a bit jealous that I was there, sometimes not very friendly. The Europeans I met were actually better to deal with and I got along quite well with them. The cost of living was about the same as in Seattle. After about 8 years being in Canada and working hard I saw America booming and the Canadian dollar was as low as $.62 cents (in late 90's) so I took my craft from Vancouver and brought it to the US just across the border, I became much happier working in the States, I took a little bit of bs but not bad from some that I had a Canadian accent (go figure when I moved up there I had a twang) I really never left the united states I will always be American and I have been still working in the US for over 20 years and deal with mainly Americans on a daily basis from all over the State of Washington. Depending on where you grow up or end up you should never see a border Seattle and Vancouver have more in common than Vancouver / Calgary in fact most Canadians don't care much for the other provinces. After 30 years of being part of both countries, I can say that people are people both have great offerings and if you took the best of Canada and America to combine then we would all prosper, there is so much both can learn from each other. Bottom line:I take the best of both worlds and what they have to offer, yes, I have found less expensive goods in Canada than what they cost in the states. I have seen it from both eyes, and if you cant be open culturally then stay away.

Welcome to what Canadian people feel when all we see happening all over the world where Muslim people have moved too.If you are so peaceful why are you not standing up against the evil that is happening with radical Islam. This is Canada not your play ground to take over and change our laws, not to force your false cult on others and no right to demand your own agenda,

IT'S ALREADY BEEN PREDETERMINED; PREPLANNED; PREDESTINED THAT IT'S AN ABSOLUTELY ROCK SOLID CONCRETE GUARANTEE/CERTAINTY, THAT I WILL HAVE SUCCESSFULLY MOVED PERMANENTLY TO CANADA!!!!BEYOND ANY SHADOW OF A DOUBT (ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL: NONE)!!!!!AFTER; WHEN AND ONCE I DO SUCCEED, IT WILL HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY PERFECT; FLAWLESS AND IMMACULATE NO MATTER WHAT!!!????

15 years and can't speak English??!! Come on. My mom was illegal in the US and we moved to Canada after. She learner English because that was the language of both countries. She wasn't lazy. And she hates when people don't learn the language. They are lazy bastards. Do your part and learn the language. It's free for refugees.

I would like to move USA so badly until I am older.\nUSA is more anything than Canada. Long time ago and before I was born.\nMy parent was from Asian and move to Quebec instead country an English.\nBecause I am from Quebec and speaking French.\nThe reason I think Quebec is so bored and there’re some English people and French host people.\nI think French is not interesting for me. I prefer to use language English.\nBecause I prefer English than French.

I know the past actions of people greatly influence lives today. As a citizen of Canada I think all of us have to accept each others culture and color..we can learn alot from each other!!Racism goes both ways..whites against blacks...black against white..this really has to stop so we can move on! Spending time in Jamaica I was seeing prejudice against white people. .I was in a club and the DJ picked me out of the black crowd and disrespected me..wasnt a good feeling!

Am I suppose to feel sorry for this guy? How long did he live in the states? Then tries to move to Canada. The only English I heard from him was two words at the end. If I want to move to France I learn French. Russia, Russian. America, English. Canada, English or French. What good is he doing for either country? No sympathy from me and I'm married to a Mexican.

He's illegally in the US and never learns to speak English then goes to Canada and doesn't speak English or French? He hasn't put forth much effort to assimilate. Try coming through Ellis Island in the late 1800s and early 1900s and not knowing English. You're an evil racist if you say these things but it's the truth. If you want to move out of your country you learn the Language and assimilate. The problem with the immigrants from Central America is they want to live in our country but continue to live life as they did there. Assimilate or leave.

So let me get this straight, an immigrant claims to be a refugee even though he isn't, skirted Canadian immigration officials and moved his family to evade the immigration hearing and now acts as if Canada owes it to him to stay.
|

He illegally enters the U.S., doesn't seem to understand why ICE wants to deport him. So he illegally enters Canada and doesn't seem to understand why they want to deport him. So instead he plays the system by moving about to get his case 'put to the bottom of the pile' to cheat yet MORE time to stay in Canada illegally. Then when he gets told 'NO', he changes up and says he no longer in any danger of returning but now it's humanitarian. Time to pack up and move back to El Salvador and turn your home country into what you want it to be.

Getting a visa or any form of legal residence in Canada is a pain in the ass, I know because I've tried. I was gonna move up there full time from Los Angeles at one point and I spent 10 full months applying and waiting and still got denied. I wasn't even a refugee either, they make you prove what you have to contribute to the country as far as skills and education and it's very difficult to get accepted

This is a sad story for this poor guy and I feel sorry for him.But how can anyone live in a country for more than 15 years and not speak the country's language fluently?.It really boggles my mind.C'mon.If I were to live in Germany then I'd make sure that I could speak German before moving over there. That's a crying shame.Shame on him for not speaking English while living all this time in America.I reckon that many of these illegal immigrants from Hispanic communities just don't seem to care to learn the language or to assimilate to our culture and traditions. They give us the impression that all that they want is the benefits that the country has to offer them.I guess immigration on both countries should deport the ones who've been living in the country illegally for many years and can't speak the language or don't wanna assimilate. There's just no excuse for not learning the language during all this time that he had lived in America.\nOn the other hand these people are morons for trying to go to Canada.Canada's immigration laws are pretty restricted and even tougher than in the United States.Canada will never give them a heart felt warm welcome and they should know better. They should know that Canada is a POINT OF NO RETURN.

So I'm in a dilemma of whether I should move down to Florida and live with my American girlfriend, or stay up here and support her moving up here in Canada. My main issue is health care. I just hear many people have bad service and poor treatment with insurance down there, but it all depends what insurance your applying with. People are fairly nice, but there are also some douche bags as well so I'm not surprised. With my overall budget, I could likely stay down there for about a few months or so. Here in Canada, taxes are a little higher, but it's worth it (Some idiot said our taxes are lower), health care is paid for, winters are cold but anyone can survive through it. Some say Canada is a socialist (which is Not -_-). Liberal party is ruining Canada as it is in a way. But again, it's better Justin than Trump. (Betting for Scheer). Idk, politics is bad in both countries I say. Idk, I'm likely missing some things here. Should I move down with my girlfriend, or stay up and support her moving up here?

So he sneaks into the US and stays for 15 years illegally. And didn't pick up any English in that time? Or didn't bother. Then he decides to illegally enter Canada. Unlike his extended illegal stay in the US, he went through the proper legal process in Canada and was rejected. Then skipped a meeting with officials and moved his family and by doing so, cheated the system, thus expending his illegal stay.\nWhy am I supposed to feel sorry for him? Seems like he's an opportunist and a career criminal.

I would love to move to Canada or the US but sadly i don't have the qualifications or money.... or the new prerequisite to being allowed in.... I'm not brown :(

It’s not any safer in any country than their own. They need to come to the realization that they need to stay in their countries & make the best of it because the US isn’t gonna be playing games much longer & Canada doesn’t want the issue moving up north.

seeeee i dont get it.. why all the hate for this man? he literally just wants to move to canada to live his life. why is that such a bad thing? this is what pisses me off about immigration...... but also, why doesnt he just move back to el salvador and live his life there??? he's got money, and its his homeland. why doesnt he just move there?

did the muslims know they were moving into a country with laws with equality for women and men? the problem is with the muslims. they are feeling the same fears others are feeling. in the countries of Canada and the United States of America who has murdered more? the problem is feelings and the truth.

Muslim family moves to Canada. Wife makes friend and visits from time to time with children. Wife leaves shoes outside in -20 degree weather because her husband makes her. What a loving religion.

If the Muslims are fearful about living in Canada then they can move to somewhere else like Saudi which is the birth place of Islam without any excuse. Mohammed migrated from mecca to Medina for multiple different reasons , one of the major reason for moving is the Mecca was hostile for him for some period of time.

Where do you go or where do you start if you want to move to the States? My bf and I have been talking about it for a while now where we want to live and we have decided to go see about and save up for a green card. What would you suggest if we are both from Canada and we have no relatives close to us that are US citizens?

If you dont feel comfortable here move away from Canada. We dont want to be a muslim country. Why dont you as muslims accept our country values and customs.

Canada's cold, expensive & boring. The people here spend 1/3 of their time talking about America and the other 2/3 about hockey and how accepting and 'nice' they are. Our country hates Americans yet they rely on American brands, tv etc. For their livelihood and know more about their political situation than their own. I want to move sooo badly

It's always a one sided point of view. They can say anything they want and we're supposed to believe them. They're so afraid to say anything good about Canada because they'll get their heads chopped off.It amazes me how the media is so quick to jump at the opportunity of a minor complaint about one jerk.Mind your own business and we'll mind ours.If you want to live in a country of Us and Them, then move to Saudi Arabia where you're complaints will land you in the stoning pit.

what are they doing in Canada? why did they move there? how tolerant are Muslim countries towards non-Muslims? how are non-Muslim religions doing in Saudi Arabia? oh wait, they're banned! \n\nISIS have committed genocide against the native Christians of Syria and Iraq who have always lived there and who were Christian before Islam was invented! \n\nIslam preaches hatred towards all non-Muslims!

I had an opportunity to move to California and there was no way I would move to the USA from Canada! It was tempting but when I really looked into it, visited the place I'd be living I was thinking that it was a nice place to visit but never would I live in that shit hole American system.

Enjoyed the video. I sent a message to Hannah but she has not returned a message. I was wondering if you or anyone who is reading this would give me some answers. I live in Canada, retired and am thinking of moving down to the US to live with my husband's sister and husband. They are going to buy a house in Sun City, Hilton Head. I was wondering Derek if you had to get someone to sponsor you or did you just move there? Have you since gotten health care, I was wondering how much you are paying. I read somewhere also that you have to take your drivers test, written and driving test since most states do not acknowledge Canadian license. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. If you or any of your readers want to email me, my address is copp12@hotmail.com. Thanks.

I honestly always wondered why anyone would move to the US from someplace like Canada that has better healthcare practices and stuff. (I've lived in the US my whole life and I think it's crap)

I live in Northern Ontario, and I have never actually been to thr USA, but I know someone who moved to Milwaukee and moved back to Canada because he couldn't handle certain mentalities people had. He said it definitely wasn't everyone, but the whole gun thing freaked him out. He knew a lot of people who carried guns around regularily, and so he always felt he needed to censor himself so he didn't want to offend or make anyone angry, because of thr guns. His brother lives in California and he loves it there, but Milwaukee wasn't for him. It was an interesting conversation

I am from Bangladesh. I look at all of our countries. Our people made those into living hell. We then move to the West and try and turn those countries into the hell that we fled from!! Such Hypocrites. If you want to wear a Hijab, Burqa, Topi please live in your hell. Don't impose it in Canada or in the West.

Come to Canada to be Canadian. If you want to come to Canada and move into a neighborhood that is an enclave of your religion/country, or if you want to shun Canadian culture and values, or if you want to bring your homophobia with you, stay in your own shit country!

They moved here for a better life right? Good...we agreed! Now adapt to our lifestyle or go home! If they are living here and are not doing anything wrong...THEN STOP WORRYING...YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR IF YOU ARE DOING NOTHING WRONG! To the female speaking out in this video this is for you: It's not just Stephen Harper it is all of Canada that gave you a better life on our Soil...respect it. Maye we all should start covering our faces and only show our eyes Canada?!

I'm tolerant, liberal individual, I'm qualified and speak English fluently, always wanted to move to Canada but they make it really difficult for me, oh boy if only I was an Islamic fanatic who believes those who question my religion should be beheaded, then they would open the doors wide for me as it seems.\n\nSame goes to the UK, they let everybody that they shouldn't let, in, those who would try to absorb the culture and make it better, they don't let them in, great policy.

Why are these people moving into countries like Canada, the U.S., the U.K., Australia,\nEurope, etc. etc.?? Make no mistake about it!! The reason for them moving into Western countries is FOR CONQUEST!! Fundamental 'muslims' believe the ENTIRE WORLD IS GOING TO BECOME MOSLEM!!!
|

Europe is currently being overrun by muslims, many native people (including myself) are considering moving out. Please keep Canada, USA and Australia as viable options. If those are islamised as well, the west is history.

What about the terrorism that Christians are involved in? The sexual abuse of children that still goes on today. People have to remember not only were Pope John Paul and Pope Benedict were aware of the sexual abuse the perverted priests and bishops engage in, but Pope Benedict went out of his way to move and protect the pedophile priests. The Catholic church has spent millions on lawyers to prevent having to pay out the victims of sexual abuse. The catholic church also has in its possessions stolen art works and valuables stolen by the Nazis during the war. They have not handed them back to their rightful owners. And to add insult to injury the Catholic church enjoys tax exemption status and protection in Canada while the victims of the church do not have access to services to help them rebuild their lives due to the effects they still suffer as a result of this abuse. \n\nAn example of the further victimization sexual abuse victims of the Catholic cult have been exposed to is the practice of Crimen sollicitationis Crimen sollicitationis states that if a person speaks out about their sexual abuse experiences within this cult they can be ex-communicated from the church. \n\nAs a white man who is an ex catholic and who also had sexual abuse from this church it is my belief that many young children who were sexually and spiritually abused by the Catholic cult did not come forward because of shame and did not want to have to be exposed to this kind of re victimization by the Catholic cult again. \n\nI believe it is because a lot of Muslim people are people of colour that they are persecuted in Canada. The real terrorist in Canada is not only the Catholic church but a spokesman for them the Crime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party of Canada. The are terrorists who rig elections, and their party is rife with criminal and illegal activity and are a threat to democracy. That is why everyone should be protesting their anti terrorist bill they are ramming down the throats of Canadians Bill C-51 \n\nIf you have nothing intelligent to say and believe being a conservative makes you exempt from the laws of Canada, and you are set in dismantling democracy, the Conservative Party of Canada wants you.

This was so disappointing to see. I was considering moving to Canada because in the USA racism and racial profiling is so bad in the south. I am so sad to see that blacks aren't really equal anywhere.
|
| 2014-08-04 | 0 |
so blacks play the race card in canada too, huh... here's a thought: there are many countries in the world where the majority are blacks. it's almost like, instead of bitching about whites in white countries, you can move to black countries or return even to your motherland, africa so all the bitching can stop. crazy concept, huh?
