ok so muslims say they should be able to wear what they want so their women cover up. but then when you ask them about western women they say they should cover up and SHOULD NOT be able to dress the way they do. liberals who think they are being so free and open minded need to open their eyes to the religion they are trying to defend. muslims routinely abuse the freedoms that are afforded to them while living in a democratic society that hypocrisy becomes second nature to them. the women that was interviewed says we get dressed up put on fancy clothes and make up with other women, even though to do that is haram in islam and is only meant to attract men. ignorance and regression will lead to the downfall of every western country. it is simply a fact and somehow it always comes off as fear mongering when it is said, no religion should ever have a right over any society. if there was a religion where it was ok to behead people who dont believe in that religion would it be ok for people to believe it, oh wait ISLAM.

No other religion or way of life threatens the western way of life as does Islam. Any woman who chooses to wear the niqab willingly to cover her face will always raise suspicion because we are body/face language readers. Islam does not put women first. It is so silly to even suggest that. They stone, burn, torture women all in the name if family honour. I don't think that reflects honouring women.

i am of indian descent and i grew up in canada. went to elementary middle and high school and 2 universities, and i absolutely hate the fobs and people who dont want to assimilate into our society. its usually indian people. and they always want to talk in hindi or punjabi when i am not even fluent in either. fk them.

Mexicans and Blacks were always hired at the lowest level positions in the company I use to work for. It really bothered me, so, after seven years, I quit.

I always find it funny how road cyclists say mountain biking is so dangerous. Sure, you can take a spill on a mountain bike, but on a road bike you are always one idiot motorist on a cell phone away from death. I do both myself BTW, just think people over-estimate the risks of mountain biking.

Whenever I take a flight within the states they always let veterans and those who have served in the army board first which is fine by the way. I just find it interesting because we don't do that in Canada at all. Veterans get a special license plate and maybe a parade once a year?

I honestly always wondered why anyone would move to the US from someplace like Canada that has better healthcare practices and stuff. (I've lived in the US my whole life and I think it's crap)

I live in Northern Ontario, and I have never actually been to thr USA, but I know someone who moved to Milwaukee and moved back to Canada because he couldn't handle certain mentalities people had. He said it definitely wasn't everyone, but the whole gun thing freaked him out. He knew a lot of people who carried guns around regularily, and so he always felt he needed to censor himself so he didn't want to offend or make anyone angry, because of thr guns. His brother lives in California and he loves it there, but Milwaukee wasn't for him. It was an interesting conversation

As a older Canadian born and bred, but now in Europe because of marriage, I can see things farther toward the wall than most of you perhaps in Brandon, Thunder Bay, Charlottetown, Whitby, Kamloops, Red Deer, etc. This is extremely dangerous. A few muslims are o.k., as they may assimilate to Canadian values of 'PEACE, ORDER, and GOOD GOVERNMENT'. Yet most do not wish to assimilate, only to remain who they are, ungrateful of the bounty Canada offers them, and holding values against those our country has always promulgated. We have separation of church and state in Canada, and fought very hard for it, with a history of bloody wars in Europe to show for it. It is repulsive how we are allowing a bleeding of immigrants into our country who do not believe in our basic creed. This is not racial. This is not hate-based or prejudice. It is simply defending our creed as a country, from wherever you are, and whomever you are. Canada is worth defending. Where are the feminists on this? Why are you not defending Canada is this debate?

Interesting tidbit. My neighbors across from my apartment are Muslims. Normal, non extremist Muslims. They have 3 children. A girl around 9 and two boys around 4 and 7. It was heart-breaking to watch the poor daughter wear long sleeve cotton shirts, long cotton leggings, and a heavy dress over that in addition to a headscarf in 100+ heat this last summer. No AC in our apartments and her family is dressing her like it's 60 degrees outside with heavy fabrics and no airflow. She hasn't even hit puberty, yet only her brothers were able to run around in tshirts and shorts enjoying themselves. She always just sat around looking bored watching the other kids play.

As an atheist exmuslim who despises orthodox islam and jihadis, I have the ability to separate the regular muslims from the crazy ones. I have always admired Canada's openness and inclusivitiy which I believe is unrivalled in the world. However the hate speech in these comments are troubling. Not all americans are KKK members and not all muslims are jihadis. Im sorry what part of the world givers the most aid to under developed country's? The west is superior to any Islamic country, you are blinded by your religion, brain washed from a young age. I've always respected tolerant British muslims who live by British laws but I'm beginning to think that the liberal westernisation of Islam is the exception and the mentality of those Muslims doing these patrols is more the face of real Islam: a serious threat to democracy, freedom and equality. As for multiculturalism, is a political word and means what ever politicians want it to at the time. I believe in humanity, I grew up in Manchester and lived their until my forties. Of course, I can not stop you from drinking, but you should not walk into a mosque with such things and try not to be loud/disruptive around mosques (or any other places of worship) after your done drinking.
