shopping while black -- happened to me. I was in high school at the time, and I was playing hooky from class. Unfortunately, in Canada you have to wait years for things you could have in way less time in the states IF you can pay for it. I have seizures every day and am on a two year waiting list to have the necessary testing done. Despite being unable to work enough to support myself due to the episodes, because they are un-diagnosed, I do not qualify for disability assistance. I pay for health care through taxes, yet cannot receive timely care, or assistance while I wait. There are definitely pros and cons to each system.

I'd like to address this to the woman who went to one of Trump's rallies dressed as a Moslem with her head covered with a scarf and having a sign that reads, 'I come in peace'. I don't know why she was asked to be escorted out, but by her own words the people in the crowd were throwing questions at her as to whether she had a bomb under her cloak. Well, whether she knew it or not, she provoked the crowd by wearing the mark of a Moslem - her cloak. Also, by going to the rally dressed the way she was, she knew before hand that she'd be treated that way. On her part, I see that as provocation. Had she gone plainly dressed or attired like everybody else, there would have been no adverse reaction toward her. I don't know what she could have said why she was asked to be escorted out, but she fully knows that the whole of America had been given the real and true picture of Islam - one of terror, murder, beheading, bombs, war, and blood. How do Moslems expect the most compassionate, kind, benevolent people in the world to act? So, please, use your common sense and do not see America as the enemy, the aggressor, or the provocateurs. They're not. They are just being vigilant knowing that the enemy could be so sly, cunning and untrustworthy. Islamic people,we welcomed you to our country. Don't think that we are not watching you. We have given you a new start for a happy life compared to the life you have had in your native lands, but we are guarding against an invasion that your evil governments have designed for our beloved country. what we need is an enlightment movement with islam where the individual determines whats best for themselves rather than these literal interpretations. In the U.S. at my school many of the 3rd generation muslim kids my age are becoming integrated. Girls wear hats that conceal their hair and long sleeves that fit within their religions dress code instead of the burka and young men are very open to other people ideas such as alchohol use. The problem is when families control their children, as in any case really, and are less than open to change. As a son of an immigrant the most important step with integration is the elimination of your cultural identity, you leave your values in your own country because you are no longer in an enviorment where your opinion matters or is relevant. If muslims could adjust/conform their rules to fit the conscripts of western civilization everything would be dandy. Adapt to fit the society that you move into, dont try to reform society to better suit yourself expecially when your a foriegner.

I think a concern for the Islamic doctrine could be a valid concern in a secular nation. The other concern that goes right along with it is a discrimination against Muslim citizens.
