I had an opportunity to move to California and there was no way I would move to the USA from Canada! It was tempting but when I really looked into it, visited the place I'd be living I was thinking that it was a nice place to visit but never would I live in that shit hole American system.

Was it easy for you and Hannah to get married? Will there be any times where you have to go back to live without her? My MIL tried to marry her bf who is Canadian and they had so many issues. He wasn't allowed to come here, she wasn't allowed to stay there more than 6 months. She tried to move some stuff over to his place while they were getting the paperwork straightened out and boarder patrol wouldn't let her through. They ended up splitting up due to all the citizenship issues.

Where are the women's feminist groups? I remember cries of 'Male chauvinist pig' back in the '70s and the title was well deserved by most men back then. Muslim fundamentalist men today are poster boys for that title and I hear no outcry from the feminists who have been battling for full equality with men for the last 100 years. Here we have subjugation of women in the name of religion and the feminists are silent. Hijabs and burkas are relics of the Dark Ages and have no place in modern western society.

Tolerance is not a one way street. Muslims consider the quran to be the perfect book and their prophet to be the perfect man, who's behaviour is to be aspired to, so perfect that any imagery of him does him great injustice and is forbidden. Other than being plain stupid, this in itself doesn't affect civilised society much (except free speech when drawing cartoons), but this does becomes a critical point in combination with the next points:\n2. A perfect man does not marry a 6 year old girl and then f*ck her when she's 9. But that's what their perfect prophet did and they know it, often justifying it as being in a different time. Well no time ever has been ok for a 50+ year old man to f*ck a 9 year old. \n3. In this religion that muslims consider perfect, apostasy is to be punished by death (quran 4:89). This combined with the fact that muslims consider their religious doctrines more important than man-made (western) law is something that makes them incompatible with civilised society. Of course they benefit from the civilised society, but not vice versa. \n4. Then there are the many verses in the quran that order muslims to fight non-muslims (and specifically jews), order death for adultery and homosexual behaviour, etc. Just search and you'll find as there are way too many to list here. Islam is an extremely controlling religion, it intervenes in everything aspect of human life, even as far as with which hand is to be used for eating and which for wiping off after taking a dump. If a woman choose to wear niqab in the West, they're Islamist's embracing the Quran and Hadith's which is an open violation against every non-Muslim. . They should be viewed as extreme Jihadist's (A HUGE THREAT) with the potential to harm their surounding's regardless of their claims to be an innocent misinterpreted mob. Islam has no place in the West and these women will trait the Western cultures at any given opportunity so don't get yourselves fooled thinking they're harmless walking mummie's in your societies...

I don't hate muslims, but I don't understand moving to the west and having a Hijab and beard and praying 20,000 times a day, this is not what the west is about. The middle East is reserved for that kind of lifestyle, may be its good maybe its bad, but there is a time and place for everything, the West in not for that. If Westerners in the same numbers as Muslims; moved to the middle East and started to set up shop there Western style it would be inappropriate for us to do so and not the right thing, and Muslims would definitely not have any of that.

As a Muslim living in Canada, I don't see the harm in a woman wanting to cover herself, I wear the head scarf myself, but in my opinions I don't feel the need to cover myself to prove I am more modest or a better Muslim.  I believe everyone has free will and has the right in this Country to dress the way that the law has allowed them to.  No one has the right to tell someone how to dress, not even the Prime Minister himself.  Telling a woman what she can and cannot wear is oppression.  I truly believe that if Muslims want to live in Western civilization, then they should refrain from covering their faces because the face is our identity and People have the right to know who you are and what your face looks like.  You cannot vote with a covered face, you cannot cover your face in a passport photo, you cannot cover your face for your driver's licence etc... I am a Muslim woman and I say this.  It truly is a shame how the media is portraying Islam and the Muslim people as a whole, and it truly is a shame that Canadians have become so ignorant.  I see more ignorance and racism in Canada than I do in America and 9/11 took place in America.  If you want to know about Islam, learn about Islam from a Muslim, a Library, google Islam, or offer to spend a few days with a Muslim family for research to get a better understanding of Islam and Muslims.  As a Muslim myself I can understand the hatred and the ignorance because we act according to how we were taught and raised, and yes we have many extremists claiming to follow the Islamic faith.  These extremists are not only hurting Western civilization, but they are also hurting the peaceful moderate Muslims that value their rights and freedoms as Canadians.  I do not appreciate ISIS hijacking my religion, I do not appreciate Hamas or Hezballah hijacking my Religion because I am a very accepting person and a very open minded Muslim and to be defined by media as a problem or a terrorist is very hurtful and a shame.

One thing that blacks have gotten away from is their relationship with God! We've forgotten that with God we over came a lot of the weapons that society had forged against us. We forgot how to come together as a people and the churches were our launching points into the systematically racist and discriminatatory system that was set in place to disenfranchise blacks as a people. It was through God that the impossible became possible and the strength to endure was our faith and trust in God. Now with the freedoms that were gained blacks became a distracted people. We lost our eye on the prize and the same system that we fought against has turned blacks against one another. The black family is virtually non-existent because we have forgotten our roles to one another. No God, no family, no leaders equals complete anarchy. The black culture has been high jacked and blacks have done nothing about it. We have to get back to what worked for us in the past and doing so will stop a lot of the problems we have today.
