I just don't want to see herds of screaming idiots marching through the streets with signs saying that I and my countrymen should die for the crime of not being like them, or because they chose to be violently offended over some triviality or perceived slight.  How many of these people actually become members of our society?  And how many just live off the dole while they demand more and more.  Why aren't these muslims being taken in by other muslim nations?

Completely unacceptable and the reason many are erecting borders against migrants. People in the UK will not help those in need fleeing from war who may be genuine if they believe this is the reception they will receive. Sharia patrols not only harm the image of radical Muslims but also they tarnish the reputation of innocent Muslims seeking sanctuary.

The problem is that most people who like immigrants dont understand the concept of assimilation. I have no problem with immigrants who assimilate, but when we have so many illegals who enjoy the benefits of the American constitution, without learning English, who dont learn American History or economics, dont pay taxes and then send whatever money they make out of country. Of Course we should kick these people out. they should never be here in the first place. People not willing to assimilate should never be let into any country.

That's why we've had laws in Canada for many years regarding people covering up themselves and walking amongst others..... They banned the Mardis Gras here because people were covering their faces... Yet Muslims can ? Who built Canada from sweat and blood ?

According to Muslims if ISLAM is a peaceful religion then why Muslims leave their Islamic Countries and migrate to Christians Countries and they also like to Christians rules & regulations And why they killed innocent peoples by suicide bombing ... Muslim lady speaks outside of her house and discusses issues we have with the religion, because of this she fears for her safety from her own community. It shows the deep problems we have with the western values and the Muslim community, yet here we have people tip toeing around the issue saying we have no problem, its religion and beliefs and peace and love and we should just accept all Muslim communities even tho this lady is telling you the problems right in front of your faces. There is so many videos you can find showing that Muslim community neighbourhoods do not want non-Muslim's in there community and they want Sharia law and they are not tolerant to outsiders and anyone that thinks different to them, even those from within there own community. 2 good examples are the town Dearborn, Michigan and Luton Town, UK of just how lack of tolerance for non-Muslim people in Muslim majority communities they have.

It's simple. If you don't want to be asked to act like a Canadian, don't come to Canada. Stay where you are comfortable. Our First Nations people were here first -- many of them were matriarchical societies so forcing women to cover themselves is never going to work here.

The western world is under attack it is an attack that is being supported by our own governments under the guise of freedom of religion we are being forced to accept beleifs and ideology that we not only dont agree with but in many ways find despicable but if anyone dares to raise the alarm he is attacked by the media as a bigot and a rascist effectively shutting down discussion of the problem. In west we associate masked people with killers, thieves, assassins and such. Because women are pretty equal to men, not at 100% but pretty close we desire women to be identifiable when on the streets just as men are identifiable on the streets. So covering your face will probably not be accepted if ever by diverse population like USA that harbours so many different religion on one space and all are supposed to be tolerant and accepted by others. Choice or not women cover their faces so that when men see them they won't have impure thoughts about them. You're not being respectful towards them by covering yourself, you acknowledge that they are weak in flesh and that it is a woman's fault that they are weak in flesh.

The issue is islam, not all muslims. Unfortunately those two often go hand in hand, making it hard to criticizes islam without people thinking you are criticizing all muslims, which isn’ the case. \n\nThe issue with the religion of islam is that it is inherently not peaceful (If you want to discuss why that is more so the case than other religions we can do that). In fact in many situations you will hear Islamic muslins part of a western country use the free speech given to them, under the laws and constitution of that society, in order to impose the suggestion of sharia law. This would mean no more free speech (and far more dire consequences) for others not of islamic belief under sharia law. Sharia law is a set of religious political laws used in the majority of middle eastern Islamic countries and cultures. It is truly a backward and barbaric set of laws, incompatible with democracy and I encourage you to investigate that claim. \n\nSo essentially decreasing islam in any scenario will also decrease the political climate it wants to live in. And not only live in, but given to text in the Koran, effectively dominate. Religious assimilation and toleration is not part of the religion. And in the small case that it is, those religious peoples are second class citizens. \n\nSo you can see how it may sound harsh to say “get rid of islam/muslims” if you are ignorant to the fact of both their possible separation and islam’s eventual political goals. \n\nNot all muslims want sharia law or are as fundamental/radical as others, but that distinction can be hard to make for many people, when a lot of them are silent. All you see are the riots and bombings across the globe by radical islamists, with little or no condemnation by the former. However once again I state, the issue is islam, not all muslims.\n\nIf you think I myself am ignorant of any of this information please attempt to convince me otherwise and I will thoroughly read your argument.

what we need is an enlightment movement with islam where the individual determines whats best for themselves rather than these literal interpretations. In the U.S. at my school many of the 3rd generation muslim kids my age are becoming integrated. Girls wear hats that conceal their hair and long sleeves that fit within their religions dress code instead of the burka and young men are very open to other people ideas such as alchohol use. The problem is when families control their children, as in any case really, and are less than open to change. As a son of an immigrant the most important step with integration is the elimination of your cultural identity, you leave your values in your own country because you are no longer in an enviorment where your opinion matters or is relevant. If muslims could adjust/conform their rules to fit the conscripts of western civilization everything would be dandy. Adapt to fit the society that you move into, dont try to reform society to better suit yourself expecially when your a foriegner.

You know whats weird that there are so many extremists in this world that act like they are following the Quran and are spreading hate and ruining the name of Islam. And they are only 2% of the population of the second biggest religion in the world.And yet so many people think that 2% is like the other 98%.

I think a concern for the Islamic doctrine could be a valid concern in a secular nation. The other concern that goes right along with it is a discrimination against Muslim citizens. There is a clear ideological line that separates Islamic doctrine from Muslims, yet this line is blurred for far too many people.

I don't care if you wear hijab but covering face all the time and refusing to take pictures for lisence and passport is not okay. also when the whole world has problem with your religion maybe there must actually be problem you have to fix and not act like you are the victims. we have right to be careful and no its not fair to you but this is what people who follow Islam faith and harm others get you. Islamic people out cry for their right but have to problem taking others away. for example wanting daycares to ban pork just because they can have porn. you should not get special treatment for you religion. I am Hindu/Buddhist and I do not ask people to stop eating beef or many other restrictions that apply to me. the pride of your religion is what's keeping you guys from sensible thinking. and no not all Muslims are the same but the percentage of people that share hatred for other religions is too great too ignore. if you want people to accept you then try becoming a part of the culture and not try to change it for your liking. show love to other faiths and athiests. stop trying to make exceptions for your religion.

If they go to an airport, do they have to take the niqab off? If they don't, its a security issue. If they can see our faces, why is it fair for them to look at us? The koran has been interpreted differently by many generations of people and is changing constantly. This religion is by far the most unstable religion. There is only one god, and to get there does not mean by having a book tell you what to wear and how you wear it. If you want to wear hijabs in a country that is christian, then live like them too. I used to be a very liberal person for most of my life and tolerant of other cultures and religious faith, like many others I may add.\n However my tolerance is wearing somewhat thin, like many others I may add again, after hearing the same old opinions coming from Muslims repatriated in western societies. \n They come into our cultures on mass and never assimilate into ours, but create their own little pockets of cultural being within our national borders.\n We hear time and again how the indigenous populist must be accepting of them, even though very few are accepting of our culture, using an analogy it's akin to inviting a stranger into your home and give them a safe place to live, food, money and all items that go along with it, and the next thing their sat on your favourite chair with your remote in their hand, even going to bed with your wife!\n We need to wear our head covering it's our right they chant, OK then, afford the same favours to us in your country, let my partner wear her bikini when she's walking down the road, let us drink alcohol, build Christian churches, you get where I'm going with this.\n If it's so great there why do you choose to live here? You do realize Islam is extremely diverse ,there are so many schools of thoughts and sects . Most of them are peaceful people and all the attention is on a very small amount that are extreme in ideology. Generalizing Muslims into one group is laughable as for Niqab I dont believe it is Islamic , my school of thought doesnt even believe Hijab or headcover is obligatory but that doesnt mean they should be stripped of citizenship and deserve to die ...I think thats extreme too. I think if people in the west can walk outside in a thong and bra or completely naked at gay festivals then whats the problem with wearing too much clothes...honestly I think as human beings you should be free to wear whatever you want.\n.

I think its actually astounding how many people Hate Islam and yet no one has done anything to stop the religion. Its literally everywhere you look, in every country in every city, women having 6 kids, taking over schools and entire neighborhoods, the UK now mandating that Arabic be taught in certain schools, is really remarkable that people have *snapped* yet and fought back at whats happening, because Islam will literally be the dominant religion in many european countries by 2030.... thats 15 years away

As a Muslim living in Canada, I don't see the harm in a woman wanting to cover herself, I wear the head scarf myself, but in my opinions I don't feel the need to cover myself to prove I am more modest or a better Muslim.  I believe everyone has free will and has the right in this Country to dress the way that the law has allowed them to.  No one has the right to tell someone how to dress, not even the Prime Minister himself.  Telling a woman what she can and cannot wear is oppression.  I truly believe that if Muslims want to live in Western civilization, then they should refrain from covering their faces because the face is our identity and People have the right to know who you are and what your face looks like.  You cannot vote with a covered face, you cannot cover your face in a passport photo, you cannot cover your face for your driver's licence etc... I am a Muslim woman and I say this.  It truly is a shame how the media is portraying Islam and the Muslim people as a whole, and it truly is a shame that Canadians have become so ignorant.  I see more ignorance and racism in Canada than I do in America and 9/11 took place in America.  If you want to know about Islam, learn about Islam from a Muslim, a Library, google Islam, or offer to spend a few days with a Muslim family for research to get a better understanding of Islam and Muslims.  As a Muslim myself I can understand the hatred and the ignorance because we act according to how we were taught and raised, and yes we have many extremists claiming to follow the Islamic faith.  These extremists are not only hurting Western civilization, but they are also hurting the peaceful moderate Muslims that value their rights and freedoms as Canadians.  I do not appreciate ISIS hijacking my religion, I do not appreciate Hamas or Hezballah hijacking my Religion because I am a very accepting person and a very open minded Muslim and to be defined by media as a problem or a terrorist is very hurtful and a shame.

Europe is currently being overrun by muslims, many native people (including myself) are considering moving out. Please keep Canada, USA and Australia as viable options. If those are islamised as well, the west is history.

What about the terrorism that Christians are involved in?  The sexual abuse of children that still goes on today.  People have to remember not only were Pope John Paul and Pope Benedict were aware of the sexual abuse the perverted priests and bishops engage in,  but Pope Benedict went out of his way to move and protect the pedophile priests.  The Catholic church has spent millions on lawyers to prevent having to pay out the victims of sexual abuse.  The catholic church also has in its possessions stolen art works and valuables stolen by the Nazis during the war.  They have not handed them back to their rightful owners.  And to add insult to injury the Catholic church enjoys tax exemption status and protection in Canada while the victims of the church do not have access to services to help them rebuild their lives due to the effects they still suffer as a result of this abuse.  \n\nAn example of the further victimization sexual abuse victims of the Catholic cult have been exposed to is the practice of Crimen sollicitationis  Crimen sollicitationis states that if a person speaks out about their sexual abuse experiences within this cult they can be ex-communicated from the church.  \n\nAs a white man who is an ex catholic and who also had sexual abuse from this church it is my belief that many young children who were sexually and spiritually abused by the Catholic cult did not come forward because of shame and did not want to have to be exposed to this kind of re victimization by the Catholic cult again. \n\nI believe it is because a lot of Muslim people are people of colour that they are persecuted in Canada.  The real terrorist in Canada is not only the Catholic church but a spokesman for them the Crime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party of Canada.  The are terrorists who rig elections, and their party is rife with criminal and illegal activity and are a threat to democracy.  That is why everyone should be protesting their anti terrorist bill they are ramming down the throats of Canadians Bill C-51  \n\nIf you have nothing intelligent to say and believe being a conservative makes you exempt from the laws of Canada, and you are set in dismantling democracy, the Conservative Party of Canada wants you.

It is not, these people are not an accurate representation of Islam or the majority of it's followers, asking to kick Islam out of Europe based on the actions of people like these is just like asking for white people to be kicked out based on the actions of a few such as the EDL or BNP, that's not at all right is it? Nobody should be kicked out of Europe, Islam is a belief, you can't stop people from believing, there are many Europeans that are Muslims, would you kick them out of their homes?

Anyone can pick out random verses in an attempt to prove the goodness of a book, - you can do it the other way as well Muhammad approve sex with children - (Quran 65:4). Muhammad forced people to accept Islam (Quran: 9:29, 9:5, 9:11, 2:189 (193). Mohammed massacred entire male populations and enslaved the women and children. (Quran 33:50)\nThere are many more examples but the real test is if people do evil in the name of / gaining inspiration from their religion - which many Muslims do from Islam

not all muslims are from the middle east, anyone can be muslim. islam is not a violent blood thirsty religion, that is a fact. some 'muslims' are violent and blood thirsty however and yes they are very welcome to get lost! however, many muslims are English or British and kind, generous and hard working people. please try not to generalise, I'm sure you wouldn't agree that all English people are racist ignorant drunkards now would you?

Im sorry what part of the world givers the most aid to under developed country's? The west is superior to any Islamic country, you are blinded by your religion, brain washed from a young age. It's sad really because i can get on with most people, but the problem is Islam is not compatible with Western life and so theres this clash. And the thing is the West has had many internal clashes in the past the strongest system always won, so some backward religion is never going to change anything.
