I am Canadian at the time I speak of I was recovering from hip replacement, an American lady was brought into my room from broken hip replacement surgery and no insurance, she was accepted as a patient, there was a meeting around her bed what they were planning to do to ,put her on a commercial flight home, for the fee she couldn't pay, the doctor told her he would for go his fee but couldn't say what the hospital would do about their fee, happily she was sent on her way home quickly, would this happen in America?

These students get free healthcare cards bus passes ect which are paid for by the Canadian peoples tax $$$. When I a Canadian went to live in another country we had to pay private healthcare insurance, also were responsible for the cost of of education for our children at private institutions ?? How do you expect to get a good paying job with that diploma? Plus almost all these students barely speak any English. I have not seen a single Indian student who graduated from UBC, McGill, McMaster, UVic, UofA, UWaterloo, etc struggle to find a job or get PR, and they almost always land good paying jobs.\n\nCanada has entered a correction phase. If you are a Canadian but move to the USA and work there then you are not paying taxes in Canada so you are no longer able to be covered by our Canadian Universal health care, so that people that had podiatry care in Canada would have to pay for that!

I almost moved to the US with my parents when I was a kid but was crying because I didn’t want to go. I am so glad that we didn’t move there. We don’t want to go there for many reasons, free healthcare, a good education system because we pay our teachers well and have good quality teachers, we don’t carry guns and don’t want them, thereby our streets are safer. We don’t have mass murders, school killings and all that fear. We don’t have the racial and ethnic prejudice that there is in the US. I have travelled a lot for my company and personal to the US. It's not just all the parties supporting Canada's counter tariffs. The Canadian people are in support, across political, cultural, economic and geographical lines. Canada has not been as unified about anything that I can remember (and I'm old). Plus, Canadians are a stubborn people with a more community oriented attitude than the USA and we don't like bullies. If we have to change brands of food, stop drinking bourbon and American beer, pay a bit more, even pay more taxes to cover the costs for people affected... so be it. Maybe I shouldn't like this but I do. Firstly, Canada has the luxury of not really needing to protect itself, they get to spend 3% what the US does on their military so they can focus on other things, like letting immigrants into the Country to price out the native Canadians and jailing people for misusing pronouns. Also, I want to see the US become slightly more isolationist, I'll happily pay more for US products. A tariff is paid buy the businesses who attempt to pass that cost down to the consumer. We need tariffs high enough that making things in the US makes more sense to these businesses.

The United States has full surveillance commercialism. That means that Canada Customs could theoretically pay to find the answers to questions like: Does this person have a tendency to criminality or violence? Does this person pose a threat to children, law enforcement, or Canadian society? Is this person likely to be a burden on Canada's health care system?.... All of that information is available on every single American for a price.
