The town I live in and grew up in when I was in school. We only had one campus, now here we are 18 years later and my one high school now has 4 different campuses to compensate for the amount of illegals that have overtaken my town. Over 300,000 homeless veterans wander the streets searching for food and shelter currently. Dying at an estimated rate of 22 a day due to self inflicted harm….the system in place to take care of them and provide comprehensive medical care is crippled and broken….every SINGLE ONE of these men and women has a head full of bad memories and experiences from defending their country in war (some missing limbs)….can’t hold a job and have trouble finding a job….NOONE is making substantial and reinforced efforts to care for these brave men and women. And in some cases, we’re providing that help to individuals who are simply making a pit stop between Mexico and Canada because it’s better for them there according to some. Frankly, we have enough issues that are swallowing us whole and need to focus on building up and caring for our own citizens and force stop mass migration, strongly enforce deportation as well as employing more case workers to help with legal immigration process. We spend all this money sending to Ukraine and yet here we are, cutting our own throats to save someone else’s hand. I have no issue with legal immigration and asylum but you need to go through the process like those before you. I know this is asking a lot but it IS possibly to make it work

Mexico has invested 100 million dollars in South America creating jobs and helping small businesses, so people have jobs and don’t have the need to leave their countries. Immigrated to Canada many years ago as skill worker in the engineering field, and there were no opportunities in that country, Canada just needed laborers to fill out factories and people to do the jobs that the Canadian born did not want to do. I ended up working in my field in the USA, and salaries and opportunities are much better in this country. Americans are very practical, they just want someone with the right knowledge. When applying for jobs in Canada, employers were very obsessed with Canadian education and experience, but in my opinion, that was an intentional way to block immigrants. In the USA I was never asked for American education or experience, the interviews were very straightforward, very technical, they just wanted to verify technical knowledge. In conclusion, if looking for professional opportunities, the USA is much better than Canada, but legal immigration as a professional to the USA is extremely difficult.

Looks like Canada still needs to learn some lessons in this regard. Ask Italy, were complete swarms arrive at the coast dead or alive from the African continent. Helping people is ok, but it needs to happen in a structured way, so that you don’t destroy your own society. I’m from Belgium and just like any nation in Europe. My favorite beggar story in Canada was when I was in the Future Cafe in Toronro. (Best bread I ever had was there.) A guy came up to me and asked for money. So I being young and stupid pulled some money out of my wallet and gave him some, he then proceeded to lecture me on how to help a pan handler. He told me to tell them no, leave, get the money out of my wallet then come back to them and give it, that way they do not know where my wallet is. (Lol) My most unfav. was 8 months before when I first went to Canada and was at the Toronto bus station. A man asked me for money, so I gave him the last few dollars I had. (Seriously I even held up my wallet and showed him it was my last few bills. At that time I was leaving Canada for New York and didn't think I would need them ever again.) Another man who saw this exchange came up and asked me for money, before the other guy had even left. I told him I had just given the last of my money to the other guy, and he proceeded to yell at me calling me a liar and even pushed me.
