who needs the skilled immigrants? Seems like big businesses are going to benefit not the people. unless it brings down the cost. but i doubt. Corporate greed never fails!

if any country allows large number of indians to live in their country than that country will fall for sure. The best way was to bring educated immigrants in average numbers like 20k from china 20k from india 2k from france, 20k from turkey like that then there will be stable and multicultural. how can countries like canada australia usa gives 100k visa to one single country nations like china and india? it will only ruin the country.

I don't find ample attempts by the German government to fill the shortage! India itself has the capacity to fill up the void. But, Germany does not allow freshers or people with 2-3 years experience. Then how is it going to work? I am a Data Scientist, I have passport, I want to learn German language to go there but I do not have that much experience. I do not see the German government bring any opportunity for proactive people like me to go & work there & integrate with the society. Rather, they welcome illegal immigrants !

Isn't it already super restrictive and not easy to get into the country for the immigrants? Only highly educated, young people with rich parents are welcomed lol. They bring people from other countries, because there's not enough people to pay the taxes. The more taxes people pay the better educational and health system become, and overall societal infrastructure. You can't build an economy through population growth when the government decides to bring in 3% of the population per year in low skill, temporary students and workers to help inefficient businesses suppress wages for low skill work.\nYou can't build housing when the fees and taxes on each new build are equivalent to 30 years of property taxes. \nYou can't build housing when zoning only makes highrises with 400-500 sqft units financially viable, which are then bought by wealthy homeowners to rent out for profit. \n\nThese policies are designed to benefit wealthy incumbents (mostly boomers and seniors) and are targeted to transfer labour and income from younger people and new entrants (immigrants) to the wealthiest people at the top. \n\nThe people who benefit represent a large voting bloc and most politicians are from this class of people who are making out like bandits. \n\nThis is why nothing is changing.

35 years ago, obtaining a Canadian visa required substantial financial resources, which applicants had to bring to invest in Canada, along with undergoing a thorough background and health check. It wasn't easy to become a Canadian citizen, so only a select few managed to achieve it.  Today, it feels like the standards have dropped significantly—allowing entry without financial requirements or rigorous screenings. This shift has led to increased crime rates, littering, and even the deterioration of our once-pristine beaches. It's disheartening to see Canada moving in this direction, allowing individuals who may not contribute positively to the country. They primarily come for the free healthcare and other benefits.

We as Canadians like our country the way it is .. going to another country and bringing what chased you away with you is whats happening here.... from culture to work place.. come to Canada leave your religious stuff in YOUR HOME....

Sorry--I feel the need to correct one key aspect of this story. What is happening in Poland, Baltics, and Finland (with regard to migrants) is wholly different than what is happening in Greece. Comparing the two is comparing apples and oranges. \n\nIn Poland, it is Belarus who is weaponizing irregular migration patterns to specifically challenge the EU laws and disrupt society. While that may not bring any clarity to the legal situation regarding what the European Union should do, the *reason* for migration is fundamentally important. On the other hand, migrants coming through the Mediterranean Sea are coming of their own volition. The European Union *should* find ways to be more lenient when it comes to accepting refugees who are expressing genuine need and come organically. But aggressor countries like Belarus and Russia (who are specifically seeking to destabilize the EU) should be strongly disinsentivized from using human beings as pawns. Sure, Poles have shown anti-immigrant sentiment, but Belarussian troops have literally pushed migrants to the borders. They are causing the humanitarian situation, not the EU. \n\nTLDR: what's happening in Poland is totally different than what is happening in Greece. To equate the two is wrong.

Man I love reading the comments in this video! We also face a similar challenge in other countries that housing is a crisis and governments keep bringing in all sorts of immigrants, from refugees to highly skilled people (like myself). I have switched 5 cities and the story either gets more worse or less worse. Half a year searching for a decent apartment? Some search for years! It's a full time job. The government gets back to my request after many months! Foreigners offices are packed with applications and citizenship is taking years long now. Getting a doctor appointment (psychological issues) within a year is hard, unless you pay from pocket or are in grave danger. We are being squeezed in here and they started new loose immigration policies to be more attractive to foreigners. Address the quality of life at the same time!

Canada should create more attractive cities. No more suburban cities that has no culture and looks like every other city. Ethnic enclaves and multi level housing brings life to big cities and attracts people who want to find community

Great assessment. My wife left Vancouver 22yrs ago. It was bad then and has only gotten worse. Sadly the residents would rather smoke a joint than vote for a conservative govt and attend a church. Forget about GOD can't be surprised when he forgets about you. That said Australia is not much better and getting worse by the day. The reason govts love immigrants is because they bring money in and are obivious to the local politics so the govts simply continue to introduce more and more corrupt policies every year. Even after they become citizens they remained divided on political thought because they tend to have a duality of mindset which says, if it all goes bad I will go back to where I came from. Meanwhile the local population is so busy applauding a PM like Trudeau who leagalises pot so they can be so stoned while there country is stolen right out from under them. This government is completely disconnected with reality. They are causing the problems we have right now. The petty crime rate is growing like crazy where I live. I am an immigrant from Brazil. I am having to deal with issues that I had back there which was unthinkable before this crazy immigration rate. Also the majority of immigration is from one or two countries. How does that improve diversity? We are creating ghettos and all the problems associated to it. We bring so many people from the same culture that it is becoming our culture. Very soon, we will have to adapt. This is crazy and irresponsible. The problem is not immigration, is the way we are doing immigration under JT.

There should be some accountability.. how many people are you bringing. Do they add value to the system for growth or disttruction ? Keep a limit and bring quality more than quantity. Now it's too late. the damage is done. Like an oldsaying, prevention is better than cure.

I am an immigrant myself and could not agree more with it. The government is bringing in people blindly at the cost of jacking up prices to unbelievable levels for shelter, food and so on. Jobs are taken away from locals and has been handed over to new immigrants, our students are struggling to find jobs. Crime is on the rise . It almost seems like the they gave up the immigration vetting system and are bringing in people without due delegence. This is NOT the Canada I came to more than a decade ago. I was pro-immigration too when Canada was bringing in 300,000 per year. Then they added over a million, like of course that's not going to work.

If Canadians think new govt will solve the problem. They are dead wrong. This is the vicious cycle they can not get out. Their own structure can not support pensions and salaries. They need to bring in new immigrants otherwise the system cycle will collapse. As far as housing is concern. Does Canada have shortage of land ? Its due to policies that new housing is not coming up thus driving prices through the roof. The world has too many people - over capacity what nature can offer. And bringing more people to developed country is like to destroy the flow that country and make it to take burden of others.

I dont know anyone who thinks immigration is bad.However when the numbers are so high that it is unsustainable and citizens feel like they are being overwhelmed and thier lives are of less quality people will rebel .The citizens end up paying with taxes so they have every right to challenge these destructive ideologies that ultimately bring pain and misery to it's own citizens.

As a son of an immigrant, immigration is not the issue. Quality immigration is. These days all Canada is bringing in are students that make college and university owners rich and keeps businesses like Tim Horton's running with low spending. While the big corporations get rich, every Canadian is being hurt.

No standards in terms of who we bring into the country, it's mostly people who are here to exploit the system or don't contribute in any way. It's just the government doing this unchecked and banks and others lobbying for it because it's just untapped source of victims they can exploit as well. Then there just isn't enough housing available, that's no secret. So for people like this Daniel Bernhard guy to say it isn't the massive influx of people causing any issues is incredibly disingenuous. \nIf you increase immigration, be more selective and not all from the same country. There needs to be more control over the entire immigration system so it doesn't spiral out of control and now everyone is suffering, not just those coming to this country.

The ruling class is using immigrants as cheap labor. They don't care about their well being nor do they care about that of Canadian citizens. They want to bring in about 550K each year going forward when people are suffering. They don't build nearly enough homes or rental units. We don't have enough doctors and nurses. We get paid West Virginia wages but must pay California level housing costs. Diploma mills have sprung up like crazy charging $40,000 for worthless degrees. There are not enough jobs that pay even minimum wage. As a consequence many who immigrate to Canada leave after a year or two. Those smiling faces you see in this video are of those who are don't yet know the truth!

Right now it just looks like the Canadian Government is exploiting immigrants they let in Canada. All they want is the money that these immigrants will bring in and will use to spend here in Canada and once these immigrants settle and get jobs they will be after the taxes that they can get from these immigrants as well. If you cannot call that exploitation I do not know what else you can call that.

An immigrant student told me she was lured by the ads in India to move to Canada, they promised housing, and a job. When she got to Canada she had to room with 4 people in a 1 bedroom apt, worked the graveyard shift at Tims and couldnt get in to the classes she needed at school, she returned to India bc she said her quality of life was actually better there. Why would Canada bring immigrants to the country with lies like this?

This isn’t totally accurate, and comparing Canada to the US is like comparing apples to oranges, a more apt comparison would be Canada and Australia (similar government structure, similar population, similar economy) unlike the us that has 8x our population and is the richest country in the world lol. \n\nThat being said the problems with the Canadian economy are pretty straightforward imo, for housing it’s simple, the Canadian government has invested heavily into the real estate market with things like the Canada pension plan being largely invested into the CPP. There is also a huge amount of people who have banked their retirement on the value of their home, for the most part these are blue collar workers. These two things combined have created a huge problem for the government, it basically has to choose between fixing the worsening housing crisis and in the process wipe out the savings and retirement accounts of millions of Canadians or let the problem get worse and worse until something boils over. This problem is also being compounded by the increasing number of international students being misled into coming here, they are being promised world class education but are receiving bogus diplomas from what are essentially sham colleges (thanks Ford). \n\nWhen looking at the competition in the country it’s a more complicated problem than people like to admit, in order to not become a client state of the US we have to place stronger protections on our industries and media, this insures that Canadian money stays within the Canadian market but has the drawback of discouraging competition. Now if you ask me the solution to this is to nationalize large industries that are being controlled by large oligopolies who unnecessarily manipulate the price of goods like Bell, Rogers, Loblaws, air Canada, petrol Canada, etc. By taking control of these industries the government could have better control of the price of goods and should result in better prices for consumers in turn we’re leaving some of the pressure placed on us by the cost of living crisis. This worked wonders for alcohol which in Ontario brings in 1.5 billion in revenue for the government each year, imagine how much internet, electricity, phone service and produce could bring in.

There are now quite a few news stories in Canada of immigrants leaving the country - some back home and others to the USA and other places. Many just get a Canadian passport and then leave. There are public health care and pensions, so it can be an asset and also a convenient travel document to have. A lot of Canadian university graduates have a very hard time finding work in their fields and a lot of them look to the US for a better future. Both immigration and unemployment in Canada are much higher that in the US - so more people are chasing fewer jobs that often pay less and are taxed more than in the USA. Opportunities are generally a lot fewer in Canada than the US, and the business environment is not as favourable, and taxes significantly higher. You would be getting some of the entrepreneurs from Canada moving to the US for more favourable conditions as well to launch a business and also now a lot more rich investor types, so-called high net worth individuals wanting to relocate, because they just raised the capital gains tax in Canada. Capital gains is also triggered on inheritance in Canada with a deemed sale of property and assets, so rich people would prefer the American system and want to be residents there for tax purposes and have their assets grow in value in the US compared to Canada. There are very large numbers of foreign students and other categories of immigrants which may have as their goal going to the US after getting a temporary visa to Canada which is easy to get - maybe something like half a million to a million people in those categories depending on the year, plus around another half million regular immigrants and refugees now. The Trudeau administration has increased immigration to record numbers. It has been steadily going up over the years for several decades since 1990. Because of family re-unification it can have a snowball effect and could significantly exceed 1 million per year. A lot of the sending countries have much larger populations than Canada, so there are a lot more that can be potentially sent to Canada in the future. About 1/4 of the population of Canada has been added in the past few decades. Add to that visitors and temporary visas - that is a lot of people potentially moving to the US. Before the 1990s Canadians visiting the US were not required to have a passport and a drivers' license or birth certificate was adequate. Now a passport is required. It is impossible to effectively control the long Canada-US border, so there could be some unified policies in that area agreed on between Canada and the USA on immigration and refugees. Canada currently has a very open immigration policy with the government actively seeking out more immigration beyond its current processing capacity and trying to take rejected immigrants from other countries. The Canadian government, especially in recent years under Trudeau is immigration hungry. It might be the only country in the world doing that. What some news reports are now saying is that some immigrants are actually leaving, since they find it so difficult in Canada and some are worse off than they were in the countries they came from, which were considered to be less developed than Canada. \nWashington currently has more immigration controls and administrative competencies than Ottawa, so US pressure and influence is a faster way to get reforms into the system than waiting for local politicians to do anything, which is unlikely. Canada is seen by some as a backdoor into the US. Biden's immigration policies could be seen as very conservative in Canada compared to Trudeau's. It used to be in the news about how refugees were trying to get to Canada and walking across the border in Quebec and out west from the US earlier, but now there are more news stories of immigrants leaving Canada trying to go the other way, probably due to high costs and unemployment because the government took in more people than it could absorb into the economy. They have the idea that immigration drives GDP growth so that they can borrow and spend more, expand the civil service, etc. without making any cutbacks or efficiencies, supposedly without the Debt to GDP ratio getting worse, just by bringing in more people as if that would drive the economy. A lot depends on who you bring in as well. Are they going to go on welfare, are they going to increase crime, will they somehow contribute to society, are they a net tax benefit or cost in terms of government services, will they invest money, will they start a business and create jobs for others ? Those issues do not factor into government decision making in Canada for the most part. Ontario Premier Doug Ford did say there were too many foreign students. It is bad planning not to consider those factors since there are other costs that grow with those policies as well, and infrastructure has to be expanded. I think that the real immigration numbers to Canada are not transparent or made public, nor are the costs involved, if anyone even knows what they are. Nor is the impact on crime. You can guess from what the reports are in other countries. The Fraser Institute has made some estimates on the net costs of immigration to the government budget a few years ago, which were very high and which by now have increased - the cost equivalent of several new aircraft carriers each year. They are big numbers which are not publicized, but it amounts to the fact that immigration is subsidized by the taxpayers in Canada and it is not paying for our pensions as an ageing society as has been claimed. There is less money for education, health care and pensions per person, and those social benefits will probably have to be reduced over time. Social programs can only be delivered to the extent that the government has money. The bigger social system a county has, the more such immigration policies are going to cost. Trudeau has been expanding various social programs as well, so higher taxes and debt are likely with that approach. Then more productive people and companies will want to leave Canada and go to the US. Probably the government does not know what the actual numbers and costs are and doesn't actively keep track of that information beyond what is required. Probably nobody knows what the true immigration figures and their associated costs are in Canada, and hardly anyone has even studied those issues. If they can just walk across the US border and get papers so easily making an asylum claim, it is not surprising, since it would take them longer to get a regular visa and work permit if they did it legally. You could call that a loophole in the US immigration system which is being exploited. The US is better governed in general and has a better system in many ways, but I am not sure if it is the same on that. People have arrived on boats and have not been sent back. At least in the US you have more open information about those issues. In Canada it is hard to find out anything about it. Deportations from Canada are very few. \nOn other issues in Canada when voting in federal elections you have to show a government issued photo ID like a drivers' license or passport to vote and bring a card that was mailed out to eligible voters that gets updated addresses when a person files their taxes. I have never heard of mail-in ballots in Canada, but there are remote areas of the country in the far north who may have special system for voting. It is easier to get a Canadian citizenship than US and many more citizenships are handed out in Canada each year in proportion to the population than in the US. Canadian might be one of the easiest citizenships to get in the world. The official line now is that it is a country of immigrants. Based on current trends, will very little opposition to it in the parliament and most MPs supporting it, future immigration to Canada could increase to several million per year because of the rapid growth of population in the world, and the momentum already growing of immigration to Canada, so it may change significantly in the future. Historically around the world you can see many examples that country names, borders, flags and languages change over time with population changes, so it might not be called Canada anymore in 50-100 years. For example, Bulgaria used to be called Thrace which had been a powerful kingdom in antiquity and had a different language which is barely known about anymore. Over the past 2,000 years it has gone through a number of changes and had various regimes governing it, has been independent and also part of several different empires. Canada has only been a country for a short time in comparison and has been been going through significant changes. Trudeau has said that Canada is a post-national country. Canada is also going through a period of critical self-examination and deconstruction-revisionism. A lot of what had been viewed as positive from its history now is seen more critically, with re-naming and removing historical figures now seen as negative.\nDiscussing immigration policy critically is considered by many to be taboo in Canada, unless a person is saying good things about it in general. You can hear people say that the government isn't processing enough people, for example, but not often that there are too many or that it costs a lot of money. The trend of migration from Canada to the US would only increase much more in the future as it is going currently, and its role as a stepping stone to migration to the US could increase. The way this would be seen by many in Canada is that they are losing valuable people to the USA whom they consider assets, since a lot of officials have been trying to bring in more people into the country, but not everyone wants to stay in Canada nowadays because of a lack of jobs and opportunities. Canada is quite laissez-faire about migration, with Toronto being a sanctuary city as well.

Mr Trudeau: I am ashamed of you. You have ruined, changed many good things from Canada. All cultures are different. This is part of North America. You promised different things to Canadians & old immigrants, but didn’t do it. Everything is so expensive. This is European, white, Latin American country. Where is your head? Do not bring more people from India, Asia, Africa & other parts of the world If you don’t know their gods, their culture, background. How are you going to help the people that are in here??? Mark my words, this video and the many others like it documenting our now long ongoing border crisis will be the first images that will run through our minds the minute that the terrorists among these illegals strategically take down the whole country section by section all in a planned blink. Our grid and networks will go down all at once and we will not know that a wide scale attack across the entire country has just been activated. I'm a Canadian born in Canada. I think I'll cross into the U.S. on foot as a migrant so I can live in NYC like I used to dream about as a kid. Of course I won't forget to bring cab fare.

i can go on and on abt this problem i was born and raised in canada i happen to be brown but i aint an indi at all JT truly fcked our country up im in the GTA everywhere you turn youll see indi students walking around theyve already taken over and i dont think theyre going anywhere theyre just gonna bring their families some pretend to be students just for entry in theyre moving into my old family friends houses and turning it into immigration consultations 8 of them living in a 3 bedroom house 6 cars parked outside usually civics, corollas, mustangs, jeeps, and jettas... sometimes itd be the more expensive jeeps, mustangs, cameros, but only if their mom has 50 cows which she uses to sell milk and yogurt with, with a CV CX CY CW CZ DA DB DC DD license plate (aka newly registered which is 99.9% an indi student) thats how you know its them and to stay away from them on the road they dont know how to drive AT ALL cause they drive like how they would overseas and some of them get their license under the table now my dads paying 431 dollars for car insurance every month because of them he never got into an accident hes 47-54 years old he isnt a 16 year old with a new hellcat im 17 years old i cant even get a job because of them theyre stealing our jobs your kids will never be able to get a job ive been looking for one for 5 years every month n i bet ya theyre not hiring me cause i dont speak hindi and im not indi just today i was standing in line at a timmies and this indi student stood behind me so closely i looked behind my shoulder glancing at her hoping shed take a hint but no i move up she moved up even closer i look behind my shoulder 1 more time nothing nada her hand hit my bag and thats when i let her have it then she talked sh1t abt me in hindi very very very soon theyre gonna be telling canadians what to do in our own country theyre gonna rule over us and nothings happening to stop them just 2 weeks ago 2 of them were legit playing bumper cars on the street... cant even take the bus im a little az girl i have to stand at the front cant go back theyre its too full cant go back there again it smells like perspiration it always does we dont even have our own home yet were still renting smh anyways heres another lesson on how to reconize them backpack hanging low? indi student scan their clothes youll know its not from here look at their pants their shoes their shirts the way they walk and reconize whos an indi student n whos not n stay away from them they have no consideration too an old woman was trying to get off the bus with her walker thing and no one helped like 12 big indi guys were on the bus just looking at her i thought she got it but she didnt so i had to help her CANADA IS A SH!T HOLE n i cant even move out cause im still a child beggin my dad to move to kansas or something but he thinks they wont let him in... We need to stop now. Now. Now. Coming to Canada in the guise of being a student……to work…….to stay. When I went abroad as a student I was required to have $$$$$. Coming to Canada and needing to work to afford to live is kinda ridiculous. Sure it sounds like they bring revenue. When they use Canadian services it’s costing Canada it’s just hidden.

Canada must repeat what it did in the 1930's and the 1940's. Canada needs to bring 5 million immigrants from Eastern Europe, like Poland, Portugal, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Bosnia, Lithuania, Estonia, Hungary, Macedonia etc. Just look at the Eastern Europeans in Canada, they and their Canadian born children and grandchildren have learned and speak the English language fluently. In Canada, people speak English and French. The British and the French values must be upheld. God save the King.

As a born and raided Canadian I'm sick of this. I have 3 jobs, none of which have hours for me in my professional field, my bosses are hiring on foreign workers to do the work i can do. Our public spaces are overrun by people who stick together and refuse to acknowledge our culture, and have no plans of assimilation. I am 26 years old, educated, out of work, damn near broke, the thought of owning a home seems damn near impossible here in british columbia. I am drowning in bills for my vehicle, rent, gas, groceries and tax all of which are through the roof. Enough is enough when will our government take care of their own rather than bringing in foreigners and tending to them as if they're the top priority. We have a drug epidemic and our streets are full of Canadian people who are dying and openly doing the worlds most lethal substances in public spaces. Im fed up, frustrated, stressed out, depressed and scared. i want to have a succesful life and raise a family like my parents, grandparents great grandparents and so on but with the current state of the economy im struggling to pay bills and eat healthy food. what is this world coming to. we need change. \nFuck trudeau

Hi Abhi and Niyu. I really admire your videos as you guys do an in depth research and your videos are unbiased. You have truly highlighted the events in Canada. I would like to bring your attention to the unjust practices going on in Australia. They have recently made an amendment to the Temporary visa laws that bars students above 35 years of age from getting a TR if they are pursuing masters by coursework degree. It was not so earlier and just like that changed the law and students like me are left in limbo. I have completed 1 year of my MBA and now I have no where to go. I have lakhs of education loan on my head. One of my friend is moving back to India after 1 semester and she has spent till date around 30 lakh rupees. So please make a video on this topic and highlight to the world how these countries play with international students.
