Illegal migration from India

I’ve thought it, I’ve seen it here in the comments and I’ll keep it going…why don’t they use all this commitment they have towards fixing their own countries? Here’s how it looks:\n\nA countries so messed up that their citizens flee. Citizens who have the numbers to make a change. Now they mass migrate to another country, mess that one up and then what.

Is it so hard to just migrate legally? I mean, all u have to do is go through the necessary steps and they’ll be able to live in America as an actual citizen. Then they wouldn’t have to worry about something like this.

I always keep upto date with FP news but this was so biased and failed to address the issue fully and accurately. Firstly, the economy of India or the foreign policies of India has little to do with the power of the Indian passport. According to that logic US, China and Russia should be the top 3 in the passport ranking - but it is not. @3:35 The logic is visible and the west does not need to explain it. It is the quality of the people visiting the western countries. There is a significant number of Indian citizens who would migrate without the intention to return. This fact unfortunately affects everyone holding an Indian passport. FP also needs to see that middle class in India is not at a middle class standard worldwide. I presume those countries which has slightly stronger passport than India has populations which are a tiny fraction of those wanting to travel with an Indian passport.

you are kind of discriminatory while you make this video..There are bad people here from every country , china, middle east, africa, mexico and even europe. Even the whites here are not all original, they migrated and did shameful things to Indigenous people. I think the reporter should do proper research. Human development index(education, job, safety, etc.) and the number of overstaying Indians are the major factors why they tend to reject a lot of applicants from India. If India could provide a better living standard, its people would tend to return and not to overstay abroad. But this is not the case. The number of Indians wanting to migrate abroad manifests otherwise. It seems like there is a scarcity of resources in India. No wonder they are shocked that people abroad give tips for a service.

These immigrants arrived legally and were granted legal status. In Canada, individuals must live in the country for five years before they can apply for citizenship. So, why should they be deported? I could understand if they had entered illegally and bypassed the proper legal process, but that is not the case here. Mexico should be blame for allowing their country to be use as passage way to go US illegally. Mexico can do better than that if they choose to stop illegal migration heading to US via Mexico.

If India is so great, why do Indians want to migrate?

As an Indian, I do not want our Indians to migrate to other countries☹️. Many of them do not know manners, behaviour, are uneducated, uncivilized, hygiene, they are giving a bad name to India. People leave because of poverty and, most likely, persecution. Order needs to be restored in the countries where this is happening! This will reduce migration. I appreciate that this people were trying to get to USA legally!

I having a hard time understanding the migration north for a free ride. The jobs here are short and people are just starting to get back to work from the pandemic. Not enough work here to support millions of more people. If the migrate would have stayed in there country and got rid of the corruption and made their country great they wouldn't have left. Got News the streets aren't paved of gold. Worked all my life to get were I've got and what I've got isn't much!

My cousin said that some people don't follow the civic rules of the country, some scam , lack of hygiene, blatant staring , and few others create public nuisances . When people are migrating to other country, needed to adapt their culture . Playing loud music while travelling, harassing foreigners or pushing people while getting on the bus.

Social media has ruined a lot of things. People do things they never used to before. We Indian lack civil sense, and lets not forget the rivalry between, north south, different religions, and separatist movements, they bring problems along with them to places they migrate to. Sense of cleanliness is not there, issue is, we don't teach kids how to clean up after themselves, especially, boys. Illegal immigration and creation of ghettos is another reason we are disliked.

Simple basic reason. Many Indians want to migrate out of India … illegally. They are asking travel tourist visas for transit countries with the aim of going to country of destination. Most of them are aiming for the US.

Well I was offended about the pot thing. As a Canadian I did NOT know that America's Marijuana comes from us. I thought it came from South America. \nIs it the legalization thing?
