I am from Europe and I hope our leaders will have the same courage and stand to the bullies. American people, I know at least half of you dont agree with what is happening and I do hope you will do your part as we dont want to be enemies but friends.

Do you people even have a clue on how to negotiate or do you accept the first offer that you receive at a car dealership? As far as tariffs are concerned, Canada and Mexico have committed troops at their border since Trump initiated tariffs. Canada and Mexico are cutting down the flow of fentanyl into our country since Trump initiated tariffs. Trudeau is talking tough because he came off as weak the last time Trump scolded him. Trudeau is scheduled to meet with Trump in a few days. Why is that? Canada will meet Trump's demands on fentanyl and tariffs; and America will profit in the short and long term. Stop believing the fake news who does nothing but create fake chaos no matter what Trump does. These tariffs do not affect our country in any way over the short term. The only reason that the markets are tumbling is because the fake news wants to create panic when there is none. Same thing with Zelensky. You idiots are rooting for a war to continue because Trump is mean. Zelensky is ready to work for peace because the mean guy yelled at him. Wake up idiots! We need strong leaders not people like Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and Sanders who only care about their own interests. You'll find out soon enough who's making money off the Ukraine War.

What Trump wants is to eliminate the income tax on billionaires and compensate for that loss of tax revenue through the taxes paid by the middle class: tariffs. Thus the Ultra-rich become richer and the people become poorer (the tariff is paid by the importer of Mexican, Canadian, Chinese or European products)... good job, American voter!?

Anyone who ever was a victim of bullying understands exactly what is going on and how it will end for those who wants to appease/bend to the bully. Yes, it will be painful for Canada, extremely. Let us be honest, Indian students go to Canada to become a PR or a citizen! Living standard for ordinary people in India is very poor! Like Chinese, Indians want to live in western countries and bring their relatives with them! Australia has become very strict with foreign students too! Born and Raised in Canada and there is another sort of comparison I'm starting to see more and more: We have the Stagnation of Japan and the the Personality of Britain. \n\nWhat I mean by that, the people in Canada, least the older ones (Boomers), got very conservative and never wanted to rock the boat and do new things. They had in their eyes a good thing. They had work and owned their home. None of them wanted to risk that so they kept things the same for the past 3 decades or so. Well a lot has changed around the world, and were pretty much the same old. Literally. In retirement. Whats the last interesting thing Canada has done since the Canadarm? \n\nI can think of a number of achievements the rest of the world has done, including many 3rd world countries. But Canada is the same old. This has become our Culture. We don't talk about new ideas. We witness them online, but we're not Creators. We are Consumers. And that is what I think happened to Britain after they got resettled after WWII. Britain is pretty dry. And so is Canada. Hence our forest fires!

We just had an election in Ontario and basically nothing changed. Ontario has been one of the worst performing provinces in Canada for the majority of Doug Ford's mandate over Ontario but people seemingly don't care enough to want change. One of the major problems with Canada in terms of politics is that the aging population has some of the largest block of voters and can pretty much overrule anything that would benefit the younger generation if it would hurt their investments.

I'll never understand why Canada has the worst affordable housing areas. You have all the lumber you could possibly want. And you even have more land and less people. Make it make sense
