Most Americans don't know that the trouble in Venezuela like most other countries south of our border, was more than likely caused by US interference. For decades our government has financed regime changes at the request of American corporations. Us companies take advantage of natural resources and cheap labor to get maximum profits at the expense of the other countries. As far as im conerned you should all be split up and dispersered to live in different provinces and cites. I've been to the states many times! My opinion is that Americans focus on wallets more than social issues! Americans care more about their own circumstances than working together to help the whole of the population. No one likes to pay more taxes but they are a nessesary evil to be able to pay for health care, public security, and so on! So sure Americans don't pay as much for some things but pay more for things that they shouldn't pay! Health care is something that is very important, how can you be expected to pay for health services if you can't work cause you're ill, doesn't make any sence! Even Americans leave thier country because of what it's becoming! 50- 100 years ago everyone wanted to immigrate to America or Canada, now a days everyone is immigrating here to Canada. Maybe I shouldn't like this but I do. Firstly, Canada has the luxury of not really needing to protect itself, they get to spend 3% what the US does on their military so they can focus on other things, like letting immigrants into the Country to price out the native Canadians and jailing people for misusing pronouns. Also, I want to see the US become slightly more isolationist, I'll happily pay more for US products. A tariff is paid buy the businesses who attempt to pass that cost down to the consumer. We need tariffs high enough that making things in the US makes more sense to these businesses.

Why do those of us on the political left keep allowing those on the political right to dictate the terms of public conversations, even when we have the facts on our side? The percentage of the world population that identifies as transgender is at most 0.6%.  So why are we talking about transgender people when there is a larger group of people that Trump's executive order discriminates against?  Here's why: because folks on the left insist on allowing those on the right to set the terms of almost every debate we have in this country and folks on the right are happy to ignore intersex people (whose existence conclusively establish that their views are false) and those of us on the left stupidly follow their example in doing so. If we are serious about protecting trans people, we need to be smart about this. Let us reframe the public debate to focus on intersex people.  This will make exposing the lunacy of Trump's executive order much easier when engaging a general public that is too ignorant, lazy, and indifferent to educate themselves about trans people. So, let's help out the lazy ignorant masses by adopting a simpler (and more science-based) approach to the debate over whether there are two biological sexes by making the simple, scientifically sound observation that biological sex is bimodal, not a binary.  And not amount of executive orders can ever change that fact.
