She thinks that the immigration process is way more simpler than it is because she came at a time when it was. What an embarrassment

I don't think Trudeau and Trump feel the same way about each other as they did 7 years ago. Seven years ago was a different energy and now its a new energy between them. I also don't think it's nice that people run away from a citizen of their country that was newly elected as President. Donald Trump is human with feelings. We shouldn't do unkind acts towards him. Running to a different country to show President Donald Trump you don't like him is a HUGE act of unkindness that everyone sees.

I truly think you're sick in the head ask a Mexican how in the hell do you speak that way you came over and people that's been there as long as you you say you don't care if they get sent back when they come knocking on your door I would be happy? because of your damn ass I can see someone else saying that that wasn't Mexican Mexican like you you are lucky to get your car to be over here can you talk that way about other Mexicans all the foreigners you are sick you are sick

I don’t think that’s how it works. If you’re deported, you can’t reapply for entry for usually a decade. It’s not like you boot people out and they can then immediately apply to return “the right way”

What people don't understand is that you can't just start a process in any country unless you have and meet the grounds for starting a process. Each process has its own regulations. Example: For asylum to take place, you have to prove you have a well founded fear of persecution from your home country due to your race, religion, or political opinion. Most of the illegals claiming asylum base on economic hardship, or violence from local gangs, will not win an asylum case. Wanting a better life for your family is not considered valid grounds. The same with legal status: You have to first become a resident which means you have to be petitioned by an immediate family member ( A Parent or sibling with a legal status in the US). Depending who petitioned you, it can be a very lengthy process, up to 26 yrs if your sibling submitted the application! Process is much faster for spouses and kids of US Citizens. Only after several years as a legal resident can you apply for Citizenship. Spouses married to US Citizens is 3 yrs, IF you know english. If you don't you might have to wait till you are 65, when you qualify for the test to be in your native language, but only if you have been a resident more than 20 yrs and so forth. As you can see doing it legally, is a lengthy process, but all these caravans think they can just march in and let the countries accept them without going thru the process and it has caused major problems all the way around. That's why the laws must be enforced to eliminate these invasions!

I've been replaced 4 times by foreigners. I worked at Amazon and the entire huge warehouse of hundreds of people was only East Indians with only me and 3 other white people. I worked at Ballard and the entire production floor could not speak English at a elementary school level and was replaced by a guy from Iran who had never been to Canada and was in the country for 1 month. All the shift mangers were from Iran and my section was only Iranians, East Indians and Chinese. I was the top production worker by far doing the work of 4 other workers proven by the actual numbers in an attempt to keep my job but still got removed of course to make way for more Iranians because it was obviously a way to bring their people here. Zero locals were in the entire production floor. I can not have the dignity to own my own home and never will be able to even though I grew up here went to collage and university and worked hard. Rent is beyond insane and they raise it the maximum legal amount every year which is huge. All my life I had to bow down to foreigners. The locals have lost their homes and can not buy another house or could never buy one and never will be able to. All are slaves to foreigners who think they are superior and treat them like garbage. The foreigners get help from the government somehow and get loans they never should be able to get because they have crooked contacts in the Chinese owned financial institutions. They then build 5 to 10 unbelievably horrible illegal suites and that is where most of the locals now have to live in. The neighbourhoods went from a very low population of Chinese and East Indians to insanely high levels such as 98 percent. There is no sense in complaining to any government body because the Chinese and East Indians have infiltrated those key positions and always side with their own kind. The legacy news/media is fully aware but are owned by foreigners and never will talk about these issues. Canada has for sure been invaded and taken over and is lost. No one is bringing it to light and worst is no one is trying to fight it. Any attempts you are labeled as a horrible racist.

How sad is this? The cruelty is beyond belief and she isn’t even ashamed of herself. And to pretend that these people could just apply legally is ludicrous. When this lady came immigrants were still being welcomed. All you had to do was apply and wait. It’s not so easy now. Trump has spread so many lies and so much hatred that immigrants are hated. Regulations are draconian and will just get worse. Trump has said he will split up families and jail or execute immigrants if they try to get back to their families. That Americans accept this cruelty, has completely destroyed my respect for them. I used to think Americans had some bad people but the majority were good.even with the evidence that they refuse healthcare for all and decent gun control to protect children. I thought they just hadn’t realized how effective these policies are. But now it’s blatantly obvious that they don’t care about poor people or disabled or sick people. They don’t care about the elderly or the health and safety of pregnant women. They just want more for themselves and are too dumb to realize that the way to get more is to work together and help each other.

The government will have to build hundreds of jails to put millions of immigrants and they will need everything any jail need, guards, doctors, nurses, security systems, etc. , and all that means money from all taxpayers, because there is not way to arrest anyone and be deported right away. The taxes will be so much that millions won't be agree with that and they will stop working and that will destroy completely our economy. We can't just work to pay taxes and higher prices for everything. Please just think about it. If you only think to destroy others because you just hate them, take a moment and think about yourself first. What will bother you more a ugly brown immigrant cleaning floors and bathrooms or paying a lot more for everything.

She obviously doesn’t know that even naturalized Latinos with legal citizenship may be deported. This new administration’s evil doers are said to be going after Latinos who ARE citizens. They want a way to take away their naturalized status, (Stephen Miller is heading this effort.) This would include kids born in this country who’ve never known anything different but the US. I’d think that this could put HER at risk. Her cruelty and lack of empathy is disgusting.

I'm a latino straight from South America and I'm very happy. I REALLY don't get what you american liberals think of us. The only reason we are willing to leave our countries to live in the US is because you have a country where we can thrive. In order to go to the US, we go through the process and apply for visas and the green card. That's being honest. We don't want the country filled with illegal immigrants who jump the border. We left our countries in an honest way and we want the borders strong, so we can still have a country where we can thrive. Is it really hard for you to understand that? We voted for Trump and we're proud of it, so we don't need your false pitty. You guys don't know reality, you're born in fantasy land and you aren't able to see the basic truth even if it's in front of you.

Doing it the right way means needing a beneficiary or money. You don’t get a green card for a job. You need to be married or have money and buy one. It’s super expensive. Instead of kicking them out they should be given work or student visas until they earn their place here. But kicking them out helps no one really. This lady is super privileged. She probably came here with someone who acted as the beneficiary. Now she thinks it’s her country. She didn’t even grow up her. It’s not her country. She’s an immigrant. She’s Mexican American. Beeing a ex undocument imigrant from US, i desagree with the former director. You dont need to Chase down ilegals, you just have to shutdown their Bank accounts , requesting agencies to ask for proof of social securty number and and apply huge fines over companies that hire ilegals. Gradually, they wont be able to stay and leave. I am not saying i am in favor of mass deportation. I think there is a better way to fix the system and absorv their work force in to segments that demands their labor, but to deport them its not that complicated.

Honestly I think the real problem is a smooth path to residency/citizenship. \nIllegal immigrants want to do it right but the system sucks and takes way too long. I’m talking more than 5, 10, 15 years. \nPeople act like you can get it done like going to your local Starbucks. Illegal immigrants pay taxes just like everyone else and don’t receive a lot of benefits.

Anyone reading this that is planning on crossing the border. I'm gonna be frank with ya. Aside from the fact that you probably shouldn't be trying to circumvent our laws just to avoid a situation you don't like in the USA right now... you also shouldn't be trying to cross our border in what is becoming our winter season. \n\nThere are plenty who try, and many do meet a grim fate due to the elements they are just not prepared for. And even if you think you can do it, or prepare enough to do it, you still shouldn't. There isn't much you can do when you have fallen into one of the many sloughs that hide beneath the snow and ice during winter, waiting to make you a popsicle. And if you get out of that, you still have to somehow get warm again. But let's say you avoid that, what then? Well, we have these really cold biting winds that make the -30 temps feel like -40 or worse. But you came prepared, so let's say you can handle that for a bit. Well, you sweat. You will get damp, then wet, over time. Then your fancy clothing doesn't do much for you anymore. Ya dig?\n\nOh but wait, there's more. So we have this wildlife eh', and it likes to do this thing that wild life does... and it eats you. Coyotes are one such kind of wildlife. Bears are another. Both are prolific in certain areas, all the way down to the border in some cases. \n\nGranted, coyotes usually aren't a huge problem for us up here, but that's cause we know how to deal with them usually. Bears are another issue, that even we have problems with at times. You'll probably run into a black bear if you run into one. Grizzlies tend to be further north and to the west. You're gone too far somehow if you find Polar bears. \n\nThere are other critters to mention, but they're more active in the summer, like rattle snakes. (Yes, we have them)\n\nOkay, so you got past the border, and you actually somehow managed to survive the winter temps in your trek to some sort of civilization. Now you have to somehow find a place to live. This is of course assuming you decided to try to bypass all our border security of course. You could go to an embassy and declare asylum I guess. But right now, you're more likely to be given a ticket back to where you came from initially. So that's not something in the game plan for you. What then?\n\nWelcome to being homeless. Oh, and you're still having to deal with our winter temperatures. \n\nSuffice to say, right now is not a good time to be trying to ignore our laws just to do whatever you want. When produce prices jump in the stores because a lack of labor? When building contractors lose a portion of there labor building houses?? When my family came here, they all had to have a health certificate and a sponsor that guaranteed they would have employment and housing waiting for them when they got here.
