Other than the Atlanta shooting, most of these asian hate videos are minorities attacking Asians. We need to stop minority on minority violence. Seems to be a huge issue in Chicago too.

Why is everyone surprised Canada has immigration laws??? We do not hate ppl who want a life in Canada but you need to inform yourself properly before actually showing up here.Canada’s immigration system is not unnecessarily strict like the us, but that doesn’t equate to anyone coming here. There is no false hope. Also Vancouver is literally the worst place for an immigrant/ refugee to start their lives; way too expensive.

This is why education matters, folks. Also why teachers need to be paid more. It takes a lot of time and effort to educate ignorance. The epicenter of the coronavirus may have been an Asian country, but that doesn't mean it couldn't have been anywhere else on this massive Earth. I think people needed to be educate that asians are not all Chinese ignorant people spreading hate to the world what would happened if those people who experienced These racism would do same thing to them in their own country, because this kinds of experiences would never be forgotten in all eternity as the saying what comes around goes around.

I am an older white trans woman that prefers to date black men as I just find them more attractive. Here it comes the proverbial but, I sometimes find it hard to not be prejudice. I hate myself for that, but I need to be honest with myself or I could never change to be a better person. That is something I strive for everyday. There will always be racial bias in society. We can’t help it. Race, religion, gender, language, all part of our identity. But we are also going to have a preference for those identity traits as well. It’s the hate that is the problem. Some people have been taught or conditioned to hate certain races and identities and that is what we need to push back on.

The whole bit about the store staff asking you if you needed assistance or hovering around you has happened to me when I was in Saudi Arabia in a store that sells electronic devises and books etc , bear in mind that I am Egyptian and that happens to me in Egypt as well so I don't think of it as race problem more so that some stores are just worried about theift, still that doesn't mean that I don't hate it, it makes you feel pressured to buy something so I thought if I went to Canada and if this happens to me it will be normal, now I don't think so.\nP.s. sorry my grammar and spelling isn't top notch giving that it isn't my native language.

It is NOT just race. Depending on the bag or backpack you carry, you get followed, which I hate. And I'm not black. My mother also gets followed everywhere in every Macy's store. It drives me crazy. It's really annoying, because I think it's because my mom has big purses and I usually have my art backpack. \n\nWhen I'm in a different town, I get followed in Walmart all the time. If I forget my shopping bags, I will empty my backpack so I can use that to put all my items in at the end of the purchase.\n\n In Best Buy, I'm lucky to get anyone to help me at all!!! I have to hunt someone down, and most of the time, they don't know anything anyway. Target: I have a hard time finding anyone to help me as well. I haven't really done a social experiment, but sometimes I just have my shopping bags and fill them as I shop and I won't carry a purse.\n\nLocally, I don't get followed because my family and me are known in that town. We know a lot of people and my face is everywhere. I never get followed. But out of town Walmart, I get followed in certain stores. It irritates me immensely, especially since I buy a lot of make up and the make up department is cramped they way they block the end of the aisles. It makes it really hard to turn your cart around when other people are in the same aisle. Then they close the make up aisle even though they have tons of cameras all over!! \n\nOverall, I don't know WHERE these backhanded compliments are coming from. I normally hear stuff about my weight. My father is an atheist. All my surroundings are muslim. We argue sometimes about religion but mostly for the sake of discussion not a fight. But don't get fooled by the number of muslims here, we do not allow  any religious fundamentalism in our country. \nAnything that is not a part of our culture in Islam is being rejected. Like we do not allow kids to wear hijabs at school. Religious speeches are not allowed in schools and secular institution. Yet we have a growing number of mosques (all under strict control of our government) \nSo if kept as a religious community, where people help each other overcome the hardships of life, practice it moderately without pushing to anyone it is possible to have adescent muslims, but in no way it should be in contact with Middle Eastern ideologist that treats Western civilization as an enemy. \nYou guys need to separate british muslims and mosques from Middle Eastern warlords influence. It is a slow process, but it is worth it as it is the only adult way to deal with Islamic fundamentalism. Not by hating on your fellows citizens just because they are muslim.

As someone who is more liberal minded, I don't agree with illegal immigration (I'm also pretty fiscally conservative). I'm open to the idea of healthcare for all, I'm open to legalized pot (even though I hate pot), I don't agree with most wars, and I don't give a rats ass who someone marries or who makes your cake. But all those things are for CITIZENS. That CITIZENS should have. Not someone who comes here just because they think everything is free, don't need to learn English and probably not pay taxes. Our PM needs to do what trump did, kicked all the illegal people, banned students from getting PR, or calling there family here, that needs to happen here. Because in the past 3 to 4 years many people came to Canada illegally and they all need to be kicked from this country, if you can’t get here own your own base don’t come here at all. I know that I am blessed to have been born in the United States. I hate that this man was born in another country but if he truly wanted a future then he should of stood and fought for that in El Salvador. Central Americans need to clean up their act!

I hate that at my work that we have a 5 foot rule; if a customer is within sight in 5 feet of you, you are to ask them if they need help with anything. Whether or not we suspect them of stealing. We don't discriminate racially, we do this with every person who walks into the store. Which is ridiculous because our store is very small and we have anywhere between 3 and 6 employees on the floor at any given time. So, inevitably, every customer is offered help many many times in their visit. I am always worried that a person of colour will think I'm profiling them, when I'm really not. I genuinely just want to know if they're finding everything they need or have any questions. If we were to racially profile based on the people who have stolen from us in the past, we'd be going after every white person who walks in the store. In my 3 years working there we have had only white people steal from us. So sick of the race issue, we're all humans. The amount of melanin in our skin should not matter.

Having worked for Best buy in my experience my bosses made us be that annoying and ask and talk to each customer more than once depending on time in the store if u didn't they cut ur hours the following week and I hated it personally when someone says no need no help I feel like awesome I can go bk to waiting for this shift to end cause I hate my job!

This is what I hate: There are veterans in the US who haven't gotten the treatment that illegal immigrants get. You can't just ignore laws & expect to be rewarded.
