Idk what they're thinking, considering, we just had a huge problem the last time they did that??????? Our government is having so many issues providing housing and other necessities that people need. Also it's so many veterans, let alone U.S. citizens that are homeless and now us as tax payers have to worry about our money going into immigration funds to feed, cloth and house them, smh. Just because America is more peaceful than Venezuela doesn't mean that America has figured everything out for them. Thats selfish when America has its own issues.

Not one more person should come to this country until every veteran has a place to live and every drug addict has acces to legitimate help.

Crazy Idea: 1) offer to bring Mexicans in if they sign into the army. 2) form a foreign legion and send them to fight the cartels. Soldiers get all the veteran benefits, and cartels are no more, so ilegal immigration drops. Everybody wins.

People in the US should be taken care of first. I can understand both sides here as my SO came here as an immigrant in 89 and had that not happened I wouldnt have had 2 of my kids. It's just sad our country seems to bend over backwards for ppl who arent americans while americans are suffering, like homeless veterans for example. A veteran should never be homeless, hungry or without medical aid in this country.

I feel very sad in America for all of the veterans and other US citizens living on the streets. I feel bad for all citizens whose own country won't or can't find apartments or housing for them.

As a canadian, my wife and I are really thinking of moving to the US. The current government here is becoming extremely oppressive. We're thinking of Nevada or Texas. I have a few veteran friends that reside in both states.

Shut the border PLEASE!!! Our own people need help i.e OUR VETERANS!!!!!! These people want to get in for the wrong reasons - they know they'll get everything free unlike immigrants that have come in the past and not expected anything from here except the opportunity to work. Here in NYC they get money, cell phones, free housing, free food, free food - we the citizens are paying for this and many of us get nothing free.

This administration's main focus is unlimited immigration and not the American citizen nor the American Veteran. They are simply trying to replace the American populace. People need to wake up.

Move to the states? All guns and no health care? Those states? Where they sacrifice their children to violence and corruption? I wouldn't even consider it. I am a disabled veteran. America is famous for how badly it treats veterans. I assume that would make me more hated than an atheist in America. Tarred and feathered and runout of town. If they ever found out my heathen religion I could expect to be shot on site by the average bigotted gun crazy American.

There is a Canadian travel advisory for the USA - due to Mass Shootings (250+ with 3+ Victims). The year isnt done yet.\n\nMy sister moved and lived 6yrs in Texas. 1st wk into her new life there... shootout/lockdown in a Walmart. That was the first/closest time our familly was as close to a handgun (except my father - RCAF veteran).\n\nShe moved back during C-19 in 2021. Lamenting the lack of choices of cracker flavours in Canada. But no longer worried about her HC Insurance. Still complains we only havr 4 flavours of Poptarts.\n\nMy father lived in the US for work and moved for a while. I was glad we moved back to Canada. (I was 10)\n\n Even as a kid, I felt unsafe there. When we came back. There was a wierd relief, that I didnt know how to explain to my Mom & Dad.\n\n Today as an adult. I know my subconscious was always telling me somesort of truth.\n\nIn Canada, its much safer. Definitely.

I would consider living in the USA but I would lose many of my Canadian veterans benefits and services that I currently receive. My grandparents are from North Dakota. I could use that to get citizenship through derivation… but then there would be the requirement to file income taxes in both countries. Any tax free benefits I get as a Canadian vet, would loose their tax free status and become taxable if I claimed my citizenship… so I have decided not too. If these issues were not in play, I would consider moving to northern Minnesota or Montana or Vermont. Somewhere close to the Canadian border, close to family but in a better climate zone. I like growing my own food and a longer growing season with nicer forests would be awesome. The climate in Manitoba is not the greatest for growing a variety of trees… and the trees do not get very big. I love Orlando and spend about 6 weeks a year there… but I could not see myself living there full time. Sometimes I will drive the 3600 km south to Orlando and I get a really good view of the wealth disparity in the USA… So that alone, I am happier in Canada… knowing that there is a better safety net for us should a situation in life happen that would leave you broke and homeless in the USA

In all my years, I’ve never seen it this bad! I am 70 years old and at this time I should’ve \nbeen comfortable. I served 22 years in the Canadian military and I’ve always worked. \nNow I have to rely on the Veteran’s Food Bank to get through the months! \nI can’t even afford to get the repairs done on my house!

In some instances they are kicking out veterans to make room for illegals..There's a right way and a wrong way..this will lead to civil war

I am so sick and tired of seeing this all the time. Look at all of our homeless all the veterans that fought for us to have our freedom that we hold so dear, What about those people ?? Some of them are on the streets and are homeless!! We’re not even barely helping our own people but yet we’re supposed to help all these immigrants that are coming over illegally and forcefully? It doesn't work that way for patients who are not in contact with reality.\n\nNow we add extreme drugs (crack, meth, heroine, ketamine, whatever they hand out at parties, etc) and severe cases of PTSD/PTSS. We are so litigious (side eye to John Edwards ) that doctors practice defensive medicine and carry high limit malpractice insurance (guess who pays for that?). Every decision is driven by avoiding lawsuits, not proper patient care.\n\nPost Obamacare, US health care is an unmitigated disaster at every level. We’re short on doctors, too. Many quit and students are losing interest—medicine won’t pay enough anymore to justify $500K in loans.\n\nWe could repeal every bit of Obamacare tomorrow and still not be able to fix it. The leviathan grew tentacles that released toxins into every nook and cranny of the system. Now that they have buried themselves in critical layers, it would be impossible to yank them out.\n\nI have a good PCP who is booked 6-8 weeks out. Specialists? Hah. GI, neuro, and derm? Four to six month wait post referral.\n\nI never thought I would say such a thing but I would probably swap the Serial Sexual Predator occupying the WH for your Little Lord Fauntleroy.\n\nCan Canada compete with us in corruption? Nor can we claim to have eliminated racism. That takes time; it cannot be done by force.\n\nOur economy went from smokin hot to dumpster fire in a short span of time. Pre election, head hunters were shaking the trees to find job candidates.\n\nOur unemployment is up as are our taxes with the stomping out of the tax cuts. \n\nDespite the endless sloganeering about how the Trump tax cuts only benefited “rich” people, it’s quite the opposite.\n\nHigh earners lost their pet deductions and lower income taxpayers were quite pleasantly surprised when they did their returns. The cuts were targeted to preserve wealth for the middle and lower classes.\n\nI could go on for another 100 pages but you get the idea and I get crabby writing for free.\n\nI will leave you with the caution that it’s best if you doubt and question any data and any stats coming from our government. Those are seldom legit. If the data comes from a study, always look to see who paid for it. And how large the sample size was; how were the participants selected? Although I do feel for these people, we don't even take care of our veterans let alone our own people. We have seniors unable to afford basic needs including food and medications.Conditions are really bad for many Native Americans and that is also a major issue. We need to take care of our own first. There are legal ways to enter the US.

They have to stop this, we Americans can't work, can barely feed our families anymore. Our homeless Veteran # and the need for essentials is outrageous but they think they can come here..

Sad to see people leaving their countries, but we can't take everybody in when we have our own Americans are struggling days in and days out. Our veterans and homeless are much need helps tremendously. This is what happens when you have a weak president with weak border patrol. He sent out invitations now here they come.

As much as I sympathize with them... The USA can barely take care of their seniors, disabled, veterans, homeless and can not handle a mass exodus. Admit 5 and everyone will take that as an invitation. Nip it in the bud. Everyone coming across the border is coming with their hands out for food, money, housing.
