As a republican, I seriously disagree when Trump says we're going to make Canada the 51st state for this reason. Theyre all Indians, Muslims, and liberals there. Why would we want them voting in our elections

I am a Republican leaning American who did not vote for Trump (never voted for him), and I urge every country to stand up to bullying tactics of Trump. I am relatively rich, so this fluctuating market or rising egg prices will not affect me; poorer people than me will be affected greatly. And ironically, these poorer people voted for Trump. I just don't understand it because if I am a poor American, I would have voted for Bernie Sanders because at least the guy has some integrity unlike most politicians. And I am sorry to say I would have voted for Kamala Harris if she were not so dumb. Even though I lean Republican in that my values align more with Republican ideals, I consider whether a candidate has strong integrity and found none in Trump and Kamala Harris.

Trump is a horrible, horrible human. I am devastated over what he is doing. I've never once given Trump my vote and I'm not a lefty liberal. He pardoned violent offenders and called them patriotic, spouts false information, obstructs investigations, has numerous felony charges against him and has now made enemies with our allies. Shall I go on? That's not Christian. Even if you aren't Christian...that's not what America stands for. All for what...eggs? Guns? Cheaper groceries? Or because your need for hating a small group of people out weighs global peace. Or is it because you are so short sighted that you can't even see the valuable contribution that non American born people provide this country. Yes, Biden fell asleep at the wheel. Yet many of you still believed the better choice was a psychopath. This election was important. We failed as a country by putting this man in office. No matter what party you align with, we failed. I find myself (United States Citizen) cheering for any country imposing tariffs on the United States. Put the largest shit stain (excuse my language) on Trump's presidency. It is the only way his brainwashed followers will understand. Make things expensive and make them think twice about who they voted for. I would absolutely love for them to be able to watch this and understand, but they have been brainwashed since 2016. The only thing that will be real to them, is the impact on their finances. Trump has been an utter disaster for the US. Every action he takes are irrational, such that I doubt if he is even sane. All Republicans who voted him in must now wonder what they were thinking.

I think Americans are going to have to learn the hard way that we voted in a terrible man who is even more unrestrained than the first time. I voted blue and moved from a red state over to a blue state because I don't agree with conservative republican views. When you ALREADY have tariffs in place against the US you cannot claim Trump is starting a trade war. You started it. Now we have a POTUS with the sand to stand up for us not the world. I've never understood why anybody thought that he gave a damn about anybody but himself or was capable of doing anything that would benefit the American people. But here we are.. there was voter suppression at the very least. It's hard to know what to believe about all that. But I do know many people regardless voted for him. 30% did not vote. Which I do understand. As there is a genocide happening.. but at this point, I have to believe that even amongst the majority of his supporters he is not supported by the majority, major majority of the United States. The republican Congress has shown their true colors of being anti-constitutional . But they are redeemable. Do the right thing if you are in government if you have any power at all, stand up. And for the rest of us, Americans including the ones that voted for Trump let your voices be heard. Before we become something similar to Russia. And I go to prison for this comment.

Trump isn’t the President we Democrats voted for the first time or this last time, and he’s lied to his Republican Constituents and they’re mad! They’ll vote with us in the midterms, but until then Trump must be Impeached! Impeached! Impeached! Vance must be Impeached! Impeached! Impeached!

It’s really annoying that CNN continues to babble on instead of letting Trudeau finish his press conference and then proceed with their responses. Our country is in the hands of a madman along with Musk and other cowardly Republicans who are in office. For all of those who voted for Trump, wait till energy and other costs rise, but it’s a shame we will all suffer as a result. Canada is our friend I am ashamed right now to call myself an American.

Civil war is very likely as many republicans now see that America is isolating themselves to create a dictatorship. Us vs the world mentality. Politics has never been more entertaining. China is set to be the new world leader, I can’t see it any other way. The timeline has moved forward beyond belief.

USA Democrats will not accept 83% vote win and are still campaigning against Trump and Republicans. They hav e not stopped from day one. The socialistic/communistic world supports them in attempting to break down all Americans work hard for. America will not be pushed around and broken. If Canada wants to be with them, let Canada fall with them.

President Trudeau-I’m an American. We live paycheck to paycheck. We didn’t vote for Trump & the GOP. The Republican Party has been doing everything it can to destroy America & the hard working people that keep it running, for years. They’ve finally succeeded. It’s an evil party, filled with vile,malicious assholes. But even though we won’t be able to afford many more things anymore, I greatly admire & appreciate you & your country standing up to Trump. If only more of our own ppl would have done that, we wouldn’t be in this mess.
