If PP wasn't their leader, I would've voted Conservative. PP is like Trump to me. Give me anybody but PP and i'll vote blue. PP just doesn't come off as a smart guy. He says what Canadians want to hear, but I feel he's stupider than Trump. He's Maple Trump. I was hoping the Conservatives would of gotten a new leader, a smart guy, but nope, let's put PP out their again and hope the 2nd or 3rd or 4th times the charm.

First of all why is she asking people this? As a leader she should know the issues, and have the answers. Obviously she does not know, and should not be the leader/Premier. So she wants to wait another year to have a survey, and then start working on things? That sounds insane to me. With $60 oil, Danielle states Alberta's debt will skyrocket. Oil is heading to $40 per barrel. That's $50 billion dollars more debt PER YEAR than in 2024. When you add on the costs to finance that , you are looking at maybe $70 Billion deficit per year very soon. That is unstainable for such a small population. Then the separatists want to ad at least a trillion dollar loan, to leave Canada and service that debt. Where is all this massive wealth the separatist spew? Then she wants to wait another year for the people to tell her what to do about it. She is totally insane. Danielle, the worst Premiere in Alberta's history. Another survey, and another year wasted while nothing get's done? Please stop blaming everyone else for Alberta's problems. It is getting tiring. Danielle never says much that is correct. Like her ridiculous CPP rebate cheque. The way she calculated that was totally insane. Today she stated Ai would save Alberta's economy. She may not know it but Ai makes almost no jobs. It also needs massive energy and a good power grid, and Alberta's is ancient. That's why she is just a small time TV show host. Then add on all the new federal costs Alberta will have to assume. LNG will be over as BC/Canada will never let Alberta use it's plants, ports, and infrastructure to compete with themselves. If Canada does let a a new Alberta use it's existing pipelines, of course they will not subsidize them any more. They will expect to make a profit from them. So let's say they add on $5.00 more per barrel. Using Danielle's math that would add another $5 Billion annually to Alberta's skyrocketing debt every year. Can you explain to me where all this massive wealth that Rath and Wilson preach? Of course there are many other issues like business/jobs leaving. Equalization payments are not really and issue as oil plummets, especially with no LNG Equalization is based on high earnings, as Albertans make more money than everywhere else. If there are no jobs, Alberta may again start to get payments back even. Trump thinks Alberta oil will be good for USA reserves so he can just shut that down for 100 years, so what will that do to Alberta jobs , and deficit. Strange how Canada has finally stepped up to order military equipment, military personal, borders in the North and with USA borders putting more man power and technology. Changed and removed provincial boundaries for trade, liberal party wants to change like the dems in the USA. Leaders should go in and do a good job and not just think about them selves. I’m a dual citizen of the USA and the UK and have been so disgusted by Trump, he projects evil, he’s smarmy and egotistical. I just don’t understand how many of my American friends act like he’s right up there with God, I just can’t fathom their thinking. It’s all about taking ownership of anything he wants and he bullies until he gets what he wants. I’m sick of people saying Pres Zelenskyy needs to apology to Trump, Zelenskyy did nothing wrong, he was calm and polite. Vance and Trump immediately went in on the attack, both bullies! Then to moan about Zelenskyy offending the Oval Office by not wearing a suit. Have they looked at Musk lately? Don’t know what he’s wearing but it ain’t no suit. During war times leaders often wear combat clothes to show they are with their country and soldiers. I must say I wouldn’t be upset if anyone popped him off! He does need to go.

Trump and Maga are like any crazy regime, absolutely full of magical thinking and not based in reality. So 2+2 = 6 and if you don’t agree, you hate America. I am a Canadian. We do not want conflict with USA. What we want is for our new leader to be voted in - and then work things out for trade. President Trump is aware of what we have suffered. Canada has stood firm.....the truckers in our capital....brought a siege all over the world for freedom. I do not want the tariffs.....that will hurt us both. When I was living in Vancouver, I (and many ppl) would just drive cross the border to get gas and groceries because it's just much cheaper once you're on US soil.... For years we cannot retain any talents because they would just migrate to the states because the pay is much higher with less taxes. I used to live in a bubble thinking that even though life is tough and it's harding to make a living here but at least it's more peaceful here than the States. As a Canadian, we love everyone! Except bullies and people that create wars and attack innocent people. I have nothing against people from U.S or Russia. I disagree with there leaders however. I don't like our leader but when you start a fight I always was told to never back down. Trump doesn't want to work together. He wants to crush everyone and destroy. NUTS! Canada will fight a bully always. We are also the friendliest people in the world.. Just don't piss us off!

I really believe that it just comes down to Trump feeling resentment that he will never be part of a perceived 'inner circle' of establishment world leaders. It's probably over that one time when they were caught on a hot mic dissing him with Trudeau kind of leading the pack. Over the years Trump has shown over and over again that he is that petty and all of his decisions have an absolutely childish basis, yet the American people voted him in a second time. I've run out of patience with the American people too. Canadian here. Wake up Canadians. Many people are praising Trudeau for this speech. Don't. He is out as Liberal leader within the week. He doesn't have to follow through on anything he said. Plus, he just stated that he's smart enough to suggest that Trump just put a 25% tax on Canadian goods for Americans but he also thinks that you are dumb enough not to realize that he just put a 25% tax on Canadians for American goods. Trudeau basically created the situation for these tariffs (open border to let anyone come here). He loves this as he gets to take the apparent moral high ground for the first time in his life and wants this speech to be the way he is remembered rather than years of failing Canada. Forget about the last 9 years and vote Liberal if you are a fool.

The leader of Ukraine was deposed by the EU and US when he rightly chose to strengthen ties with Russia and not to join the EU. He could see through the reality that those wanting to join the EU were young and looking to leave Ukraine whilst the older population relied on the cheap discounted fuel provided by Russia.
