I talked to a family of immigrants a few years ago and they were terribly upset with the open door policy that Canada had adopted. They said the reason they left their home was to get away from the bad people that Canada was now welcoming. They said these people will poison Canada. Yeah, the majority here in Ontario are happy that the government is getting it under control, and unfortunately, the method is not fair. The missing parts of the report are: 1) the government has increased the number of permanent residency spots to convert temporary residents, but the increase is not proportionate. 2) The reason why we had an increase in temporary residents was because corporations (like Tim Horton's) lobbied the government to let in more temporary workers whom they can underpay and exploit, as the employees don't have as many rights. So now it is not surprising that they are lobbying against the changes.

When I lived in SW PA, we saw more and more convenience stores being run by Indians. I went into a 7-11 once, and there was what looked like a family in the office, and when the guy that worked there was serving me, I asked him, why don't I ever see any Americans working there? He said, because Americans are lazy, and especially the black ones. He said Americans always want days off. Days off because you're sick, or days off because it's a holiday, days off for everything. They don't want to work. This is all because of Clinton. He made a deal where Indians could come to the US, and they were given money to "start" a company. When I went back to school, I had no choice but to work at a gas station. I was off on payday once, and went in to get my check. There was a new guy at the counter, an Indian. I asked for my check, and wanted him to cash it for me. We always did that if there was enough money in the register. He told me to move, customers waiting. He didn't speak English very well. I went to the office to see the work schedule, and he yelled at me to get out of there! I told him what I was doing, he said "You work no!! I work! You boss no own, my boss own! Leave now! After a little more back and forth yelling, I found out my boss sold the gas station the night before and we were all out of a job. I blew up in front of all the customers! They started to walk out. Lol. That station didn't even last a year, and they had to close down. If they had a drive off (back in the days of a pump and run) they would call the police, but couldn't speak English very well. So they would tell police robbery! After a few times of that, the police told them to never call again. This was a very small town in SW PA, and word got around, and no one went to that station any more. Break down from a Canadian who moved to the US. Basically, Indians moved to Brampton because it was a cheaper area, yet close enough to Toronto. Major reason for so much immigration of Indians is because here in india to get a well paying job and a well settled life you need to be educated and skilled. Whereas in countrys such as canada it is more easy to have a good living with less efforts and less education. Therefore they prefer moving out of country than working hard in there own country. And in the case of Brampton they saw an opportunity and demand for businesses and workforce so they grabbed there opportunity. Because at that time there was not much going on in Brampton when indians started immigrating . So you can say indians are the reason Brampton has grown gradually. The answer is economics, specifically capitalism and the welfare state. In order for capitalism to function the best for asset owners, the economy must continue to grow. Company revenues, stock prices, home prices, assets in general. Also, the welfare state needs to have more younger workers paying into the system to cover welfare services for the elderly retired population. Back in the 1950s, economists in Western countries realized their population demographics were inverting. Meaning, the elderly population was growing while the younger population growth rate was slowing down. This is the natural outcome of a wealthy educated society—the elderly live longer due to better healthcare and living conditions, and women tend to have fewer children as they spend more time in school and pursue a career, also families need fewer children compared to poor agrarian societies for various reasons. As such, these economists advised the politicians to increase immigration. This was the way to get more workers in your country to prevent a slow deflationary spiral by increasing consumption, and increase the tax base. Bonus if you bring in STEM workers as economies are becoming more dependent on tech. Anyway that's your answer.

15 years ago I wrote my highschool thesis on how capitalism leads to genocide and then cycles to communism which then leads to genocide and constantly repeats itself in a cycle. Then tied it in with Marxism and how neither system is truly sustainable. I ended up getting 100% on my paper... but what I didn't know was which race needs to be exterminated. Personally as an Indian, I really feel bad about it. Unfortunately, we DO go to other countries for a chance at better life and dignity, but a lot us Indians then start to feel privileged and entitled and do not adapt to the culture of the country they are in, and force their own cultures and individual beliefs. The problem is immigration back in day was a luxury in India so only riches made it outside and they were rich compared to others after independence because they were more pro british and served them. So it was easy for them to immigrate and assimilate into your culture. Now you see many poor people also immigrating because immigration became more accessible, its just like the touchscreen phones, before only rich people had them, but later and now everyone has it. Plus your overly liberal and the stupid point system lets anyone enter the country if they meet a specific criteria, they barely check their english, background, crime record, etc. Also, living in India is a survival, or a nightmare for short. Especially for the poor people in the up north, and so they go to these shady agents who claim that they can send him or her to Canada, UK, Australia where ever they want in exchange for some money. Sometimes these agents turnout to be scams and sometimes not, then these students apply to some fake university that has no campus in Canada and select a course thats easy. Then once approved they come to canada, don’t go to university and make some other indian friends who say they have contacts with some job providers and through that the students get their jobs at the fast food joints and shopping malls. The mindset with which these students come to Canada is that I want to get a simple job as soon as I land in Canada and through that job I can get a PR. They never go to assimilate or discover the culture, they come because the country looks nice, has resources, and will provide them with a good salary so that they send some money back home to their parents as compared to low paying jobs in India, which too are super competitive. They still like the indian way of life, the culture, the food, the attire, just not in India. Thats why you’ll never see these students eating at anything other than a Indian Punjabi Restaurant or a fast food joint, they will never make white friends, they will never try to change the way they speak and look at Canadians, they will never try to change their driving habits. In conclusion, more poor people and students migrating, paired with their mindset of “I want everything to be Indian just not in India but in a place that looks better” paired with their low interest in actually learning and working better jobs is what makes them a bad immigrant group. But thats not to say that all are like that its only some and mostly Punjabis/ other North Indians that have this mindset. The reason why the Indian group in USA is much better and successful is because they are mostly of south indian descent. Those people are far more educated, actually respect the law of the land. And fun fact: The stereotypical Indian Accent originated from USA mainly and reason why many indians say that they don’t speak in that accent is because that particular stereotypical accent is present in Indian people who come from the states of Andra Pradesh and Telegana, which is is where most of the Indians in USA are actually from. 30 + years in this city and i have seen the changes. I dont want to single out students but they are the main reason for it. Fake car insurances and expensive cars they cant afford. Results in my insurance being higher by default. Many students coming here and not studying but getting on trucks as soon as they get their license makes brampton one of if not the most city with trucking companies . Sheridan college with its low standards dooms the city. Multiculturalism is good but when people ruin that for others for their own cash grab methods makes this city extremely expensive to live in.

As an Indian myself who has lived for a total of 12 years in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) and given that almost 80% of the population is made up of expatriates, I have never truly faced such problems. I think the real reason why most are unhappy is because of a lack of discipline amongst the immigrants. Dubai may be more libertarian and tolerant toward other faiths than rest of the GCC nations but they don't tolerate any form of disrespect or indiscipline as they have very strict rules. I believe the locals and the immigrants can get along with each other if they respected each others' way of life.

I live in this general area and have recently retired. True, this area doesn't look like the area did, when I was a kid and since I worked in the technical field, I was in a real minority. So I've worked with many people of color and don't have a problem with that, or the religion, or culture they come from. That said, they are individuals and have faults like everyone else. Often, there is an automatic victimhood or racists assumption, that will get thrown in your face, but with a little thought and practice that's easy to foil, without being apologetic, since you should NEVER be apologetic, if there is no reason to be.

Frankly, I don’t blame the Indian people. Most of them seek better opportunities and stability, and their decision to migrate is often driven by economic hardships, political instability, or a lack of educational resources in their homeland. Why would they not accept coming here if they see potential for a brighter future ? Furthermore, they don’t have pathways to citizenship offered by the government; there are no well-defined courses or integration programs designed to help newcomers become fully part of the society. Instead, they are arriving in basically what is a new India. They are welcome with open arms and new rights as Canadians, without the responsibilities that SHOULD go with it. So, the entire culprit is our Canadian government. This situation is part of a much larger, global agenda aimed at sowing division among populations to weaken national unity. The phrase _Divide et Impera_ (Divide and Conquer) highlights this tactic. The Canadian government is orchestrating this strategy, intentionally aligned with the nefarious 2030 agenda. This agenda calls to flood the White Christian Western world with massive immigration, which will erode cultural and national identities. The ultimate goal is to strip nations of their cultural and historical identities, making their populations more dependent on the State to provide a new identity. This dependency is projected to lead to the implementation of digital identification systems, biometric tracking, and other dystopian technological measures. These politicians on both sides are NOT humanists. The overarching aim is not merely human advancement but transhumanism — merging humans with technology — which is pure evil, even demonic, a plan to transform human existence radically. A plot to erase humanity as we know it. This is also the real reason and rationale behind the trans agenda. You can be whatever you want if you identify with it. Now, how about a cyborg, the singularity or what is called humankind 2.0 ? They will try to get it with WW3. The mandates will be said to be good for us, as they will procure a false sense of security in every country on Earth. They need India to go against the Muslim world. Canada has accepted this for the novus ordo seclorum of nations. You probably heard the saying that governments are NOT elected, but selected. That’s true. Our system is an illusion of democracy. I lived in Canada for 11 years, 2008 - 2019, went to university and worked in Toronto. I come from an upper-middle class family in China, went to a top university in Canada, landed good jobs and I speak English like a native. I got my PR in 2015 and I remember the painful uphill battle I had to go through just get that. All the bureaucracy, redtape, unnecessarily rigid rules, high cost and long wait I received from CIC/IRCC felt like a humiliation to me. Every document was scrutinized and every step had obstacle that fealt unreasonable (my TOEFL examiner ask me why I had to do the language test required by CIC, and I had to visit a notary to validate my Chinese national ID card). It felt uneasy but I understood that these were the rules that everyone had to go through, and moving and integrating into a new society was never meant to be easy. I went back to Canada in 2021 and 2024, and it was evident that the country I once called home had gone down the hill. The streets were screaming crime, unemployment, inflation, drug and filth, it's total social rot. As someone who went through the whole immigration process (and many of my friends who went through the same have left Canada for good, like myself), I attribute much of this to failed immigration policy. I cannot help but feel confused, angry, betrayed and humiliated when I look at the recent immigration policies of Canada and their results, and compare with what I had to go through. The feeling sums up to: Canada penalizes the hard-working and law-abiding people, and rewards the undeserved and the cheaters. Example: when the US creates wars in the Middle East, why does CANADA bear the cost of bringing in refugees? I never regretted moving back to China and East Asia, and I feel bad for those who still truly think of Canada as home, as I am one myself. When the leadership of a country deviates from pragmatism, reason and common sense, and instead embraces idealogies, hypocrisy and political optics, this is what happens. The prices are paid by everyone, immigrant or not. For this, Trudeau deserves a court trial for his incompetence and dereliction of duty; and the people of Canada need some honest and serious retrospection. I will share some words of wisdom by the late Lee Kwan Yew: “Whoever governs Singapore (LKY was the PM and founding father of Singapore) must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards, this is your life and mine. I've spent a whole lifetime building this and as long as I'm in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.” I hope the clownish weakling politicians in Canada (and, in much of the western world nowadays) can be enlightened a little bit.

Come into the West, a lot of white people give you shit, *no matter what you do* . Obviously not all of them. But in this modern era , enough of them to fund an entire media ecosystem just for that perspective. You think your immigrants weren't going to notice? Assimilate into _what_ ? The loudest mouths telling you they hate you and you're responsible for all their problems despite being a minority, because you're not a white Christian? And then you're going to scapegoat _them_ for the problems your government and system created, refuse to adapt, and complain that someone did. And _also_ , just like here in NYC.. the reason why a place gets taken over by a bunch of colored immigrants.. is usually because white people start _running_ . And again, the few that are left, complain about _their own_ fleeing, before doing so themselves. Hilarious. I'm in NYC, my neighborhood is literally every kind of immigrant, Filipino, Jamaican, West Indian, Indian, Haitian... all low to middle class, with some who really _saved_ up working for their 30-50 years here. Kids born or here since little kids, educated and making good money with few exceptions. And so of course the neighborhood.. looks just like any neighborhood in America (albeit denser and more traffic). Must be all that 'wokeness' in NYC. This has nothing to do with white or black or brown, of course. This dynamic plays out anywhere with people that are unwilling to challenge themselves and their ego just finding an easy scapegoat...

I wanna tell you this folks , the reason we Indians get jobs ( which you racist people dont like ) is not because our people are there and they hire us , its because we work hard we do extra shifts , we have skills which employers are looking for . Moreover , the companies which hire Indians are owned and operated by no other then Canadians or i should say white canadians itself. So instead of blaming one community for your every problem , work hard , learn skills which will make your life more easy .

This is a horrible situation on both ends and the fact that its all 100% administration failure is sad. Its not fair to anyone not even the immigrants. They keep bringing in more people then the economy can afford to live here I frankly find it ridiculous. I want to know whats driving these policies to continue. My parents came to canada 25 years ago, they payed thousands of dollars to get status here. Now people are getting in as cheap labour that can't even afford to live here so they dogpile 10-15 people in the same 2-3 bedroom apartments or houses and the infrastructure is still being built on the logic of single families when in the reality thr opposite is happening we have sudden crowding because rent is unaffordable due to the massive influx of people, including canadian born nationals that are forced to live in these environments if they don't have support- Its crazy why not close your borders stabilize rebuild infrastructure then slowly work on immigration policies again when the housing market and job market are stable again. Theres absolutely no reason to cite labour shortages when theres an unemployment rate and homeless people everywhere- close the borders- get homes built, throw heavy incentives to join and get educated on any productive field that has a shortage upto and including providing shelter to canadian citizens that decide to pursue these fields and are homeless. Have a fast track rotating incentive down to the year along with guaranteed on job training for all occupations. Such a simple solution so stupid we can't execute it. Too busy squabbling liberal conservative baseline rhetoric that we made ourselves blind to the human cost in our own borders.

Majority number of these people are working under the table getting paid CASH.. at the same time they’re getting their welfare Checky and stealing the jobs that real Canadian citizens could have.. this is the reason you see most of these people working at gas stations, factories, and fast food restaurants.. they’re sharing apartments with 15-20 people and THIS IS REAL BAD FOR REAL CANADIANS.

As someone who comes from latin-america and has been travelling and touristing in Canada for the last 10 + years, and finally decided to take the step to immigrate to Canada through the front door, I can safely say you guys are losing your amazing country. My permit was not approved and you know what, I am not even mad. I see a lot of these people leeching off your government and for some reason they get preferential treatment over people like me who come to do things honestly, work, study, and adding to the country instead leeching from it. Like I said, I first came to Canada a little over 10 years ago, and I am telling you this country is changing for the worse. One thing I also noticed is how back then I always used to hear the memes of Canadians being nice and always saying "sorry". Those memes no longer exist. I know it doesn't say much, but what I am trying to say here is: The quality of the Canadian citizen is 100% decreasing.

I am a Korean international student studying in Canada. These types of news makes me really frustrated.. I heard that due to these reasons, immigration officers has been taking very long time to process study visa permits. I 100% agree with immigration officers that they need to carefully review the applications, because I also think things like this shouldn’t happen in any countries. But, I’m getting frustrated because this is delaying innocent international students’ visa process as well. I’ve finished my undergraduate studies and I decided to pursue master’s under a professor i met in my current university. I was very excited to study the field, and i applied for study extension visa months ago, and still haven’t gotten any updates from IRCC. So I couldn’t get enrolled in Fall semester. I’m still waiting, and i really hope that i can continue studying.. luckily my professor understood this situation and he said he can hold a position for me, but i’m still very anxious about all the situation. I hope all people who come to Canada are honest and don’t do illegal things. I really want them to realize that they are affecting students who just want to study. They are taking away the opportunity for others to learn.
