Unfortunately, Canada is changing for the worse. Many people are unemployed. Migrants work for money that is below the subsistence level. Prices are rising. And wages are stagnant. Only migrants from third countries remain here. Others return. Even young Canadians are leaving Canada for a better life.

It's not right or tight yet. Lot of work needs to be done. Lot of people need to be sent back home. Unfortunately last 10 years immigration was done without any proper plans or objectives. We all agree to that.

Y'all as an Indian I am extremely sorry for the lack of civic sense we export throughout the world. But, I can't ignore the blatant racism in the comments. Every country has it's spectrum of people. India unfortunately has the problematic one's more than the unproblematic one's. I would implore you guys to visit upstate Gurugram, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and the north east. Maybe that will change your view on India and Indians

Yes I have found that Indian people here in the Fraser Valley BC are pleasant and friendly at Tim Hortons. However, it's strange that only Indians work at Tim's shouldn't there be a mix of cultures? Unfortunately however, quite a few In dian folks have shared drivers licenses ! Truckers too. That's dangerous. As well some have tried to get In surance money by causing " "accidents" and claimed to be injured. So In dians are definitely good at lying and cheating etc. I find that large statue atrocious and UGLY and does not belong in Canada. Too big and ugly too

Honestly could be so much worse but it is unfortunate to imagine a close knit majority white town completely changing for the worse because the government wanted to bring in a foreign people instead of prioritizing its own people.

As a non Indian Canadian born and raised I’m disgusted where my country has gone. Our population has doubled since 1980, not by birth rate, but because of the amount of Indians that have immigrated here. Unfortunately, they have no desire to assimilate, they bring their own culture and they stay in their own communities. The government offers tax breaks for businesses, hiring foreign workers over people born in Canada, leaving the youth without any part-time work. On top of that some of my favourite restaurants growing up, I haven’t eaten at in years because it’s been taken over by Indians, the quality of food goes down, you end up getting food poisoning and if you aren’t in their community, you get worse service and get charged more than what an Indian would pay at the same restaurant. They don’t understand cleanliness or sanitation, they leave their garbage and waste on the street and dump it in random locations, and quite frankly have no respect for anyone who lives here or the country that has taken them in. I feel like a minority of my own country and I truly don’t understand what being Canadian means anymore because I’m pretty sure being Canadian is a thing of the past. Most of my friends have moved further north, to Vancouver island or moved out to the prairies to get away from them and higher prices as everything gets more expensive, thanks to our government, caring more about immigrants than citizens. When a family gets accepted to come here they bring their parents their aunts and uncles their brothers and sisters on temporary visas, they also collect social assistance as soon as they arrive and when their visas expire, they have no desire to go back, which has resulted in thousands of illegals remaining here. I mean I get it. Why would you go back when you’re getting treated better here and are given food, housing and an allowance every month but it’s gotten to a point where India outnumbers Canadians. I want them all sent back.

I just watched Tucker’s interview with the man that made the documentary “Replacing Europe” and it was very eye opening! Even if you are not a fan, I encourage you to watch. This is happening all over!! Apparently, many places in Europe can’t even build a military because they don’t have anyone to actually fight for Europe due to them all being migrants. Lots of other interesting things I didn’t know. Honestly, it’s kind of heartbreaking to see such beautiful places changed so drastically and becoming so dangerous for everyone. Nothing against the good people, but unfortunately it is not the majority. So much corruption exposed and it goes all the way to the top in every government involved! 💔💔💔

First of all, Tyler is a hardworking journalist and I respect that, however a lot of this video was wildly ignorant, from almost everyone involved, including from him. This is cheap views unfortunately. It paints a very bad perspective for all the genuinely hardworking citizens and residents of Indian origins, why not show that side of them too? There’s obviously actual students who come to study and provide for the community while also maintaining their own culture? What’s wrong with that? Besides, what is a Canadian culture if not a mix of immigrants from all around the world? Are white people also not just immigrants to this country or did they magically spawn in this place? They’ve committed ATROCITIES (not just in Canada), yet have the audacity to act like they’re the cleanest ones in the land. While I do agree some Indians do not improve the reputation, most are really kind, helpful and honest people. Perhaps treat everyone like humans for a change instead of using the bad ones as a benchmark. PS, cutting to the ugly streets when someone mentions Punjab is probably the cheapest attention grab, obviously there’s bad streets, ugly roads, gross people everywhere but so are beautiful ones, lovely countryside views, beautiful mountains and most of all, very hardworking and respectful people as well. Your view of Punjab is just NOT the same as the one of the people in the video who view their motherland as a beautiful place. You can portray every place in the world in that light with the wrong perspective, be it New York, Paris, Barcelona, Cairo, Sydney, Rio, London, etc, but it must be nice to get a few more looks at the expense of demeaning others.

I'd honestly prefer Indians over Middle Easterners. Hindus and Sikhs aren't proselytizers and generally have a much more mellow religious vibe, unlike Muslims. Plus, Indian food is the shit, I dig curry and samosas. The thing you really have to be careful of, as is the situation with any instance of mass migration, is to be aware if newcomers are taking advantage of Western social assistance programs, like the Somalis have done with the welfare system. They need to understand that to be welcomed as new Americans, they have to work. Indians have proven to be industrious through hotels and convenience shops. I'd prefer them to Middle Easterners or certain cultures of Africans. That all being said, they should also come to understand that, having moved to a modern country, there's very little point in having massive families with ten kids. No need to endlessly spawn more people to help with chores like water fetching when you have indoor plumbing. It's an unfortunate trend a lot of migrants have trouble getting over, the endless breeding that makes locals anxious that they'll become a minority in their own country in just a few generations.

I grew up in Edmonton in a very Indian part of town. It's not "Indian people " not at All!! Maybe mass migration is an issue, but it's not Indians. Maybe immigration scams but trust me, every Indian I lived with was civically minded. Blame the scams ...not the people! That's the federal governments fault!! Indian people have lived here for decades and in the UK. Unfortunately the scams have hurt the community!! (Even listen to the people in the interviews. Some of the best people I've met, and they ARE part of my community. I do worry about the scams but that's it)

First of all stop all these bogus students and asylum seekers, immigration needs to be rationalized. Canada cant save the world if it cant save itself. Unfortunately people need to leave and we need to limit how many people come here

As an Indian I am completely ashamed of the way Indians are representing our country outside and honestly I understand the point of view from the Canadians ,when u migrate to another country you are supposed to adjust to their culture and their principles but unfortunately these people have turned it into a mini india there which simantaneously affects a lot of Indians who live outside as well because they have to deal with stereotypical and racial comments.I am completely against the way they celebrate our festivals outside its a nuisance to both the countries.

I am an Indian immigrant living on GTA. If I was forced to live in Brampton, I would rather go back to India than live in Brampton. The problem with Brampton is a subset of Indians that are easily recognizable and do not assimilate. Most of these specific subset come here as students and through family sponsorship ( not regular immigration stream). The students get false documents for their language and educational credentials. The politicians are also to blame for pondering for their votes. If there is one ethnic group that has the capacity to destroy Canada further in the future to a point of no return, it is this subset. Unfortunately most Canadians do not know this, and Indians as a general group are seen as the problem. Next time just ask them where in India these people are from, and soon you will know for yourself.

Before Trudeau UK had the biggest number. He brought in 3m+ that made Indian population higher in Canada than UK. SA, Tanzania and Kenya also have big numbers. They were allocated colonial govt freehold land for free in the most prime areas of uganda major cities like Kampala, Jinja, Masaka, Mbale, Soroti, Mpigi, Tororo etc while black Ugandan indegenous people were pushed into the rural areas to work in factories, mines and businesses set up for British Asians. As you can guess, business class get super rich while Africans who didnt work on their own coffee, cotton, and domestic farms were left to work as clerks, securicor, teachers, Christian clergy/ reverands and local tax collectors for the govt. Many songs were sung after the 1972 kickout depicting that phrase/ quote.

I felt compelled to write this. I appreciate you getting both sides and also asking some "hard" hitting questions that would mostly be seen as a rhetorical with a lot of people who have a distaste for Indians (You pay international student tuition, complain about it, why are you here in the first place?). However I really appreciate that you do show the beautiful side of a community just trying to keep each other safe and well fed, while unfortunately it's a bit more explicit in the Western world that we tend to be more 'figure it out by yourself. Life yourself by your bootstraps' type of mentality. There is an immigration issue, specifically a resesntement feeling within the country, but it's still important to humanize people and communities.

Michelle Rempel-Garner is a taxpayer funded politician that doesn't even live in her riding nor does she live in Canada, read about her in different forums and subreddits you will know how good of a politician she is. What she is doing here is trying to win votes by creating hate and divide and unfortunately people are blinded by hate to see it. She is not even letting the person answer before firing her next question, just getting half story and letting people speak to a point where she can use that to further push her parties ideology.

So to talk about people in-fluxing in, taking over cities, causing a boom in the population of their diaspora, not assimilating into the culture....isn't it what "White colonialism ' did? Canada was not white country a couple of Hundred years ago, it was stolen, invaded and completely white washed. Canada should only allow educated people to immigrate but unfortunately due to government policies a vast majority of people who have committed crime in their countries are the ones who apply for asylum.

Yeah this is disgusting. Unfortunately this is not just a CANADIAN problem, but it’s happening all over the world (by the same people). I’m black but I easily feel like a double minority within the community even though I’ve been born and lived here for 25+ years. I’ve seen my entire neighborhood change (which was diverse in the 90s but still had that comradery and friendliness) change. It’s very isolating now.

This is why I desperately wish there was an actual Libertarian party to vote for in elections! There is a party, but they have not gotten enough signatures to be able to run yet, I don't even know if there is an office or representative in Ontario right now! I wish! Their policies (on paper) seem great, and geared more towards a 'Canada first'/'Canadians First' approach. They touch on a lot of topics and there seem to be a lot of things they want to change! But a government is still a government, they will be motivated by money regardless of any good intentions they may have. So if and when things change, WE NEED TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE! We as the citizens have the power to change things for the better! It's just unfortunate that I see so many people getting pushed down or ignored or hated because they are speaking their mind. Remember, Canada dosen't have laws like the US, our freedoms aren't as protected nor do we have the same freedoms they do (like owning and protecting your own property, or self defense!) We as people need to start being honest and expressing things instead of being terrified of the backlash (of which there will be in these times). The only way we can make progress is by deciding to get out of our comfort zones and standing for what is right! For the freedoms and protections we deserve! To make a future worth living for us and our children! It will not be easy, but when is change ever easy? I hope that one day I won't be terrified of the thought of bringing a life into this world and country. I hope I can be stable enough to be able to give my future children a decent life. But right now? I would never want to have children, things are too unstable and I don't want to bring a child into this country and force them to live a terrible life they never asked for! I desperately want to be able to keep hoping for a better future, a better country, and people who can enjoy their lives instead of constantly worrying and stressing about everything. I hope some can consider looking into the Libertarian party as well! They may be small right now, but they seem to be wanting to right the wrongs that have occured.

Here's the whole problem/situation summarized: Canada has been getting treated like it's a vacation resort rather than a country. And yeah, it doesn't entirely matter who exactly is treating it this way. Those who move to and those that live in have been doing this. Which is unfortunate, it's supposed to be far better than this but peace has made people delusional in a way and started to treat Canada like a resort for their early retirement. While trying to act like they AREN'T retirees.

I immigrated to Canada in 1996. This country was such a beautiful and peaceful place back then.. Unfortunately, these immigrants these days have no respect or courtesy for Canadian laws and other people. The majority of them come in, commit crimes, partake in protests that disrupt everyday Canadians just trying to get to work and support their families, all while collecting free money from the government, not to mention free health care and they do not even have the decency to simply follow the laws and regulations of this country. I hope the Canadian government takes action soon to get Canada back to the way it should be.

The Liberals and their woke ideology are ruining Canada. Canada's aging population means we need immigration, but not when things like housing, jobs, and healthcare etc are already beyond maxed out. They've been bringing in too many 'refugees'-unvetted and likely a large portion of which may not actually be refugees, and then there's the ridiculously high number of 'temporary foreign workers' - the majority of these are people with values, hygiene and morals that are not acceptable or cohesive in our country. Unfortunately many are muslim and have beliefs in sharia law which dates back to the 1400's and is primitive and contrary to our Western values and morals. I am hoping Canada is not too far gone to save (although I have my doubts).

Unfortunately, i think that trump (he does not deserve un upercase) dreams of becoming like putin. All that he is doing, everything in his language and actions screams dictator. I think that putin dreams of having the entire Europe to himself and that trump will actually want everything around the USA which includes ofc, Canada. That was their deal. I don't understand why americans are standing by just watching things unfold. It will not get better, this can only and will get worse. Politics should not be a matter of ego, trade wars, or personal disagreements, as it is ultimately the people who, unfortunately, remain the eternal victims of these trivial battles. \n\nAs a French citizen, I can therefore only join this fight against political absurdity, which Mr. Trudeau has led here with both tact and courage. The educated and thinking American people ( who are the majority of voters and unfortunately 1/3 did not vote) know that Donald Trump has lied to us. We understand that Canada has no fault and no role in contriving this trade war. We also know that the Fentanyl problem has little or nothing to do with Canada and that the majority of Fentanyl is brought into the USA by US citizens. Most American citizens do not want this. Donald Trump and is an opportunist. He does not care about the American people . He cares about himself and his money.

As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. I have never felt more proud to be a Canadian, it’s a good feeling, I was almost brought to tears earlier thinking about it. And it’s interesting to note that it is overriding the fear of the consequences of Donald’s actions. Here’s where I can’t help but think of you, our fellow North Americans. The good people of the USA, I hold you in my heart. For you don’t have that boost that comes from feeling proud of your country. I can’t say I’ve ever known what that is like. It seems it would leave you gutted, and lost. Can you even describe the feeling, the experience? It has to be one of those things that you can’t know until you experience it. The pride in my country is keeping me going. My heart is crushed thinking that you do not have that. But you need to do everything you can to keep it. It’s what the Donald and his cronies are counting on. Unfortunately, he does not care about you. He wants to crush you. He does not care about America and what it stands for. He only cares about himself. If you do not have the fight that comes from being proud of your country, you guys are gonna be easy pickings. Do everything you can to find pride in your country. We need you to fight. We need you at our side. We are with you. We will always be with you.
