Canada, Us, Aus, Nz they were at a time white colonies. But they aren't any more. That's not changing. Trying to reverse engineer multiculturalism is going to be brutal. Which is what many people are advocating. One has to wonder about white european migrants who become outraged when non white customs and culture begin to be visible. Its like they are offended by the results of what they themselves created. I get it , the mind frame of now we have developed these countries and technology has improved, now let's dial this down. This is racism making a come back. And I think most of these places began in a purely racist fashion and will try to maintain themselves in a similar way. So long as there is predatory population around. These folks want to benefit of migrants and their labour but then get offended by their presence. I have heard of gulf Arab racism and maybe that's the track these countries are willing to adopt. Who knows but the future appears to be grim unless a way forward of co existing is carved out.

I grew up in Brampton from 1985 to 2010. I watched it change. Not for the better. I got the hell out there and every time I go back to visit my fam, it's even worse. Almost never seeing any other race but Indian lol. It all has to do with Trudeau's dad designating that city as a go-to place for Indian migrants. The Trudeau's are part of the whole Satanic New World Order, and part of that order is using mass immigration as a weapon to destroy 1st world countries. His father started it back in the 70s. And yeah the driving is absolutely horrible. The car insurance skyrocketed. They destroyed the city I grew up in. It's a shit hole now. Many of them will tell you that India itself is a shit hole, but the more of them that come to Brampton, or wherever, they turn it into India. I don't consider it racism. It's their people but it's not like it's all of them, but it is a lot. From personal observance, they're the most unhygienic people I've ever met, and they love easy jobs the involve scamming others out of money. All of those scam callers are Indian. Nothing else. They have no dignity. No self respect. They just want money and don't care how to get it. I generally don't like them, but it's because of their negative behaviors. There are plenty of other races that come to Canada that people love. Have you ever heard of anyone complain about Filipinos? No. They're loved. They come here and know how to assimilate while keeping their own heritage intact in respect to our own. They're friendly, respectful, hygienic. Indian people just want to come here and make this place Indian and they have tons of kids, so that's exactly what's happening. Brampton was cooked years ago. It's just going to devour itself and fully become an extension of India, and it already has been spreading out from Brampton to the surrounding cities.

So fucking based, especially the thumbnail haha. As an Indian myself, I don't like seeing too many Indians either. For example, just watch all the different "Indians litter" and "India sucks" videos and shorts out there. Too many Indians bring their bad habits and couldn't care less about Western values and basic, humane principles. Also, my also Indian Mom recently told me about how she could never be left alone in India because there are a lot of "nasty people" over there. And I've heard those horror stories and seen various clips of that, it's insanity. Thank God I was born in the West.

A chip on there shoulder thinking the gov owes them and do whatever you can to get payed! Hence why there were so many car, jewlery store, liqure store thiefts and break & enters! The cops were literally telling people to keep there car keys near the door so the thiefs can take them with no altercation! I blame turdo and sean fraser! Fun fact, sean fraser was the immagration minister then got cabnet shuffled to housing minister during turdos terms, idk what he is now but i think hes still in cabnet. I try not to be racist but this failed experiment and just plain bad math/out of touch with reality cabinet ministers are litterally making people racist! Its too many, too fast, when there manipulating the housing market by red taping it so much nobody can get a shovel in the ground! The stupidity of the gov is insane! I dont like the convervatives either as they will just swing the pendulem so far the other way too fast, i.e. cut everything! Including when they were hurting single mothers on welfare and persons with disibilities, we need somthing new, maybe a.i. or the upcomming future party, idk but this crap is wak!

Yeah they choose to send back the ones who is honest never used the systems on government funds . Worked and own there own business for a better lives . And yet the send them back . The phrase _Divide et Impera_ (Divide and Conquer) highlights this tactic. The Canadian government is orchestrating this strategy, intentionally aligned with the nefarious 2030 agenda. This agenda calls to flood the White Christian Western world with massive immigration, which will erode cultural and national identities. The ultimate goal is to strip nations of their cultural and historical identities, making their populations more dependent on the State to provide a new identity. This dependency is projected to lead to the implementation of digital identification systems, biometric tracking, and other dystopian technological measures. These politicians on both sides are NOT humanists. The overarching aim is not merely human advancement but transhumanism — merging humans with technology — which is pure evil, even demonic, a plan to transform human existence radically. A plot to erase humanity as we know it. This is also the real reason and rationale behind the trans agenda. You can be whatever you want if you identify with it. I feel like this video was presented fairly. We heard the criticisms and we got to see the Indian perspective too. There's many kind people over there, however Canadas Immigration over the last several years is a disaster. They're bringing in a lot of people who are detrimental to our country. In many ways.

I'm a student right now, 15 years ago it felt like I lived in my home, proudly in Canada, with all kinds of people... now, I go to class, and I feel like I live on a different planet, everyone looks the same, with a hint of variety... American complain that they don't see White people much anymore, I complain because I only see ONE type of person now... nobody else...

I live on $800 a month and I am much too disabled to work and I don’t have family. In addition, I’ve been told I’m not eligible for rent gear to income, but it’s not like I’m going to get well. Anyway, it seems people don’t like to put out for others and I get it because the folks at the top are always happy to see the little guys tear each other apart. None of our politicians have ever voluntarily Given up a pay cut to support those who can’t work any longer or who never could. That would be the pro life thing to do. The only reason you can use the term Immigrant is because the govt issued visas. But that being said the govt fast tracked the usual immigrant process which takes months to years. So in actuality this is not legitimate immigrants. It's unlawful what the govt has done and therefore these people are immigrants under cover of law. Or color of law. It's defacto. I call them illegal migrants. Most are not doctors or engineers or trades people even. Most are young men from 19 to their 30's. Yes it's brutal some things but apparently before Obama left office he signed an international agreement to import people globally from mostly Islamic countries and create open borders. We see Chinese, and many people from different parts of South America and even Africa crossing to the US. A lot of whom end up in Canada. So before they cross into the US they toss their IDs Especially if they are from countries that are flagged by the US as questionable or terrorist possibilities. So this leads to a lot coming to Canada. I'm sure you heard of Roxham Rd crossing? It's officially closed but people still cross into Canada from the US going through there. There's also piles of IDs at that border crossing also. Anyways these open border policies has cut out in depth screening so we really don't know who is in Canada as true asylum seekers or immigrants. To add to this complexity, over 300,000 Canadian travel documents have been stolen from CBSA Canadian Border Services Agency. 280,000 of those were blank Canadian passports. SO we really don't know who's walking on Canadian soil. This was confirmed by Luc Sabourin a former CBSA agent. Don’t let his BS fool you! Look around in your own communities. Look at the health care system. How many do you know that don’t have a GP so can’t get proper care even though they are sick. The ER tells us we have to have a general practitioner to get anything done! And then there are communities like on Vancouver Island that have closed ER’s in many cities leaving the injured to drive for 2 to 4 hours to the nearest ER. Have any Canadian citizens not heard of fentanyl deaths? Or had someone within 6 people from them have related addiction issues. How many homeless people wander the streets of your communities? Prime Minister Justin Trudeau thank you for your address to Americans, to the american Bully in chief, and to your people. I am among those who started pushing back before trump took office, many are. We’re watching legislation and countering it. I have been watching you for a long time. And there is always a point you are not addressing in most of what I have heard. You will probably laugh at what I am about to say but please hear me out. The progressives running the policy’s do not only hate America for whatever reason, they hate God. They might not say that and even rebuke anyone who thinks that. I’m not going to get into that, it’s a whole Nother subject, but Jesus said those that hate good or worship being a false Jesus, even though they think they’re worshiping the true God. They are not, and so therefore they are what the Bible says, our worshiping a false God, who is the god of this world who was Satan. Now after saying that I would say that you can see that in their action. Anyone who wants to debate what’s going on in New York City on the side of correcting the problem has a point of view. But the ones that wanna keep these loss in place cannot justify any of their actions in debate that makes sense. They are liars and are following the father of lies and that’s all there is to it. The problem will not be fixed in your city until you having a big turnaround of leadership. People who are accountable to this constituents. People who love this country, not hated. Only a satanic group could hate this country that gives them every opportunity they could ask for. If you asked them, would they want to live in any of the other countries in the world they won’t answer you they will get part from the question and they will call you a miss information White supremacist or if you’re black a uncle Tom. Never heard of Vets for American and I have been a vet since 78. We do not need a social experiment in the military. I have seen so many people leave the military because of DEI programs and the embarrassment of trans people and the demands they make, their words. All I hear from this person is me and I, words that indicate an individual and not a team member. Who will follow a leader that they have no respect for ruins the team and fails the mission.

A lot of Indians treat white people really badly. Especially when there is money involved. It’s now extremely common that people here hate dealing with Indians as customers of their business and will go as far as avoid it altogether. They will often relentlessly try to negotiate services, lie and say anything to get get their way, pester businesses until they cave to their demands and even leave bad reviews which they say they will change if you give them a good deal. None of this is the way things are done in Canada and that needs to be respected. Something kind of funny, I’ve heard many people say that Indians will often say they will refer tons of friends and family to a business if you give them an unreasonable discount (which they never do once they’ve gotten what they want), but what they don’t realize is that referring a bunch more Indians to them is the last thing that business wants. And really, some of the discounts they want on things are just ridiculous. When I was selling my car a few years ago, I had it listed for $55,000 and I got bombarded by Indians offering $20,000-$25,000 and every lie under the sun of why that’s all it was worth, other people are saying yes to offers like that for the same car, dealerships are selling them for that much and so on. Like come on. And I guess while I’m at it, I hate to say but it’s a common thing here to walk into a gas station and the smell of body odour just hits you like a brick. I’ve stopped going to 3 different stations because of it. I’m sure there’s some pungent white people out there but damn. This is on a whole other level. It literally fills the entire building.

Anyone with a modicum of sense will realise that what is proposed, or rather, what Trump promised his mad supporters, is impossible. I heard some MAGA clown claim that the plan was to remove 22 million people. Does he not realise the effort it will take to achieve. The ‘sermons’ he delivered were simply for effect. He must have known, even as the idiot he is, that the machinery does not exist to effect the policy. We had a similar experience in the UK over the decision to leave the European Union. The impression was given that, on the morning after a Leave vote, the matter was resolved. That was in 2016. We are now in late 2024 and many of the so-called problems caused by our membership of the Union still exist.\nThe American proposals were made by Trump, a liar. The most vociferous advocate for our Leaving was also a liar, Trump’s bosom pal (I get the impression he is closer to him than he is to the ex-call girl who is his wife) Nigel Farage.

This isn't just a white or black thing it's an out of control immigration system where people use loopholes in the system to gain residency. This anti-immigration isn't isolated in fact most immigrants who's lived in Canada all their lives have expressed deep concern that the government is letting in too many from one nation and the lopsided admittance is part of the concern. The metrics of the majority of new immigrants come from the Middle East and India how can anyone not notice the concern that many have been expressing for a decade. Canadians aren't against immigrants it's that we didn't expect to just let anyone in without actually knowing how to speak English or have etiquette and follow laws. Many have concerns that many of the new comers can't even speak English yet they have license to drive and how do we get around most bend the rules or the law. Myself I've notice a skyrocketing scam scheme and how can you not equate that to the rise in our broken immigration policy. The last time I heard you had to have certain criteria to be considered to immigrate and why is that some countries like from the South Pacific you need to know English have money in the bank and a skill or degree on a list of acceptable qualifications. So many who can't even read or write English have jobs, drive a car, then to make matters worse have housing yet we have a crisis? Most Canadians see the pattern and most are educated enough to know there is something to be said, loopholes and when they find it they abuse the system.

As a white Brazilian, I would say my experience was quite good (I've returned home less than 1 month ago). \n\nApart of some obvious jokes about the 7-1, I've never faced anyone who made me feel unwelcome or undesired, quite the opposite in many situations. Being of German descent certainly made things better. Other white Brazilians I've met told me they had similar experiences.\n\nUnfortunately, immigrants from other Global South countries and non-white Brazilians probably have very different experiences, for the worse. I've heard many unpleasant comments from my German friends and colleagues regarding turks, Arabs, africans and other immigrants from the South of the world. It's certainly a problem for many skilled workers who are not white and could contribute for the country, but they can't thanks to racism.\n\nIn my view, apart of racism, another great problem in Germany when it comes to foreign skilled workers is the lack of digitalization in the country and the bad Internet. Many jobs require good internet connection and digitalization, which are not always provided by the Germans , unlike virtually all the other European countries including much poorer ones. \n\nHaving said that, Germany has many good-hearted, kind and welcoming people (except the racists, of course), and a fantastic culture.

Like I have said before, it depends on where they come from. Most people from different countries can adapt to western kind of life. For example, people from India and the Ukraine. They are used to a western kind of life. I know the weather can be a challenge in the winter, but we all just tolerate it and can't wait for the spring and summer. Unfortunately, I have heard of too many stories about certain countries in the middle east that are having issues. They seem to be under the impression that it is fine to act exactly the way they want, and be abusive to Canadians that were born here. Look what is happening in the U.K. Do I want that? NO.

Hey Igor, I feel your view is understandable but the issue I see is mostly in Ontario. There are many examples of people who seem to be from a particular community creating issues there, I have heard of persons who don't seem to understand how to communicate and making things difficult for other groups of people, coming to canada to work and slacking in their studies which is why they are in canada and also where people who are PR unable to get a job because only international students are getting hired. but I agree the government need to put better regulations in place to prevent people from being taken advantage of and hire people based on qualification and make the work place more diverse where possible with fair wages that are liveable as well as understand that they sold canada as the place to be for anyone to gain citizenship from the education stream

you should investigates why there were no more canadians working in front line in many stores. take a good look if who were working now in all of the establishments you are visiting. As a FRENCH individual, I would\nSay this!!! WHY would you or even plan to come to a country that rejects you??? Why waste your money to come here???? Why immigrate here??? Lately, I have my older brother move back to France and my 2 daughters NOT willing to stay in Canada (they hate the Canadian education system here)! My wife wants to fly back to France and so am I and we will as soon as we can!!!! I was born in Vancouver Canada now live in San Diego, California. From what I have heard Canada is turning into an over price third world country. Government let too many refugee's and tax the hell out of working people and hand it to the millions that are turning into a toilet.

This should not be legal. That's messed up. They're taking those jobs from people that actually need those jobs. It's not easy for people in South Asian middle class families to get these jobs as their English is not fluent so these jobs go to privileged and educated families. There are now quite a few news stories in Canada of immigrants leaving the country - some back home and others to the USA and other places. Many just get a Canadian passport and then leave. There are public health care and pensions, so it can be an asset and also a convenient travel document to have. A lot of Canadian university graduates have a very hard time finding work in their fields and a lot of them look to the US for a better future. Both immigration and unemployment in Canada are much higher that in the US - so more people are chasing fewer jobs that often pay less and are taxed more than in the USA. Opportunities are generally a lot fewer in Canada than the US, and the business environment is not as favourable, and taxes significantly higher. You would be getting some of the entrepreneurs from Canada moving to the US for more favourable conditions as well to launch a business and also now a lot more rich investor types, so-called high net worth individuals wanting to relocate, because they just raised the capital gains tax in Canada. Capital gains is also triggered on inheritance in Canada with a deemed sale of property and assets, so rich people would prefer the American system and want to be residents there for tax purposes and have their assets grow in value in the US compared to Canada. There are very large numbers of foreign students and other categories of immigrants which may have as their goal going to the US after getting a temporary visa to Canada which is easy to get - maybe something like half a million to a million people in those categories depending on the year, plus around another half million regular immigrants and refugees now. The Trudeau administration has increased immigration to record numbers. It has been steadily going up over the years for several decades since 1990. Because of family re-unification it can have a snowball effect and could significantly exceed 1 million per year. A lot of the sending countries have much larger populations than Canada, so there are a lot more that can be potentially sent to Canada in the future. About 1/4 of the population of Canada has been added in the past few decades. Add to that visitors and temporary visas - that is a lot of people potentially moving to the US. Before the 1990s Canadians visiting the US were not required to have a passport and a drivers' license or birth certificate was adequate. Now a passport is required. It is impossible to effectively control the long Canada-US border, so there could be some unified policies in that area agreed on between Canada and the USA on immigration and refugees. Canada currently has a very open immigration policy with the government actively seeking out more immigration beyond its current processing capacity and trying to take rejected immigrants from other countries. The Canadian government, especially in recent years under Trudeau is immigration hungry. It might be the only country in the world doing that. What some news reports are now saying is that some immigrants are actually leaving, since they find it so difficult in Canada and some are worse off than they were in the countries they came from, which were considered to be less developed than Canada. \nWashington currently has more immigration controls and administrative competencies than Ottawa, so US pressure and influence is a faster way to get reforms into the system than waiting for local politicians to do anything, which is unlikely. Canada is seen by some as a backdoor into the US. Biden's immigration policies could be seen as very conservative in Canada compared to Trudeau's. It used to be in the news about how refugees were trying to get to Canada and walking across the border in Quebec and out west from the US earlier, but now there are more news stories of immigrants leaving Canada trying to go the other way, probably due to high costs and unemployment because the government took in more people than it could absorb into the economy. They have the idea that immigration drives GDP growth so that they can borrow and spend more, expand the civil service, etc. without making any cutbacks or efficiencies, supposedly without the Debt to GDP ratio getting worse, just by bringing in more people as if that would drive the economy. A lot depends on who you bring in as well. Are they going to go on welfare, are they going to increase crime, will they somehow contribute to society, are they a net tax benefit or cost in terms of government services, will they invest money, will they start a business and create jobs for others ? Those issues do not factor into government decision making in Canada for the most part. Ontario Premier Doug Ford did say there were too many foreign students. It is bad planning not to consider those factors since there are other costs that grow with those policies as well, and infrastructure has to be expanded. I think that the real immigration numbers to Canada are not transparent or made public, nor are the costs involved, if anyone even knows what they are. Nor is the impact on crime. You can guess from what the reports are in other countries. The Fraser Institute has made some estimates on the net costs of immigration to the government budget a few years ago, which were very high and which by now have increased - the cost equivalent of several new aircraft carriers each year. They are big numbers which are not publicized, but it amounts to the fact that immigration is subsidized by the taxpayers in Canada and it is not paying for our pensions as an ageing society as has been claimed. There is less money for education, health care and pensions per person, and those social benefits will probably have to be reduced over time. Social programs can only be delivered to the extent that the government has money. The bigger social system a county has, the more such immigration policies are going to cost. Trudeau has been expanding various social programs as well, so higher taxes and debt are likely with that approach. Then more productive people and companies will want to leave Canada and go to the US. Probably the government does not know what the actual numbers and costs are and doesn't actively keep track of that information beyond what is required. Probably nobody knows what the true immigration figures and their associated costs are in Canada, and hardly anyone has even studied those issues. If they can just walk across the US border and get papers so easily making an asylum claim, it is not surprising, since it would take them longer to get a regular visa and work permit if they did it legally. You could call that a loophole in the US immigration system which is being exploited. The US is better governed in general and has a better system in many ways, but I am not sure if it is the same on that. People have arrived on boats and have not been sent back. At least in the US you have more open information about those issues. In Canada it is hard to find out anything about it. Deportations from Canada are very few. \nOn other issues in Canada when voting in federal elections you have to show a government issued photo ID like a drivers' license or passport to vote and bring a card that was mailed out to eligible voters that gets updated addresses when a person files their taxes. I have never heard of mail-in ballots in Canada, but there are remote areas of the country in the far north who may have special system for voting. It is easier to get a Canadian citizenship than US and many more citizenships are handed out in Canada each year in proportion to the population than in the US. Canadian might be one of the easiest citizenships to get in the world. The official line now is that it is a country of immigrants. Based on current trends, will very little opposition to it in the parliament and most MPs supporting it, future immigration to Canada could increase to several million per year because of the rapid growth of population in the world, and the momentum already growing of immigration to Canada, so it may change significantly in the future. Historically around the world you can see many examples that country names, borders, flags and languages change over time with population changes, so it might not be called Canada anymore in 50-100 years. For example, Bulgaria used to be called Thrace which had been a powerful kingdom in antiquity and had a different language which is barely known about anymore. Over the past 2,000 years it has gone through a number of changes and had various regimes governing it, has been independent and also part of several different empires. Canada has only been a country for a short time in comparison and has been been going through significant changes. Trudeau has said that Canada is a post-national country. Canada is also going through a period of critical self-examination and deconstruction-revisionism. A lot of what had been viewed as positive from its history now is seen more critically, with re-naming and removing historical figures now seen as negative.\nDiscussing immigration policy critically is considered by many to be taboo in Canada, unless a person is saying good things about it in general. I’m a Canadian nurse and I lived in the US for 10 years during my career. I did it when I was young to gain work experience and travel with friends. It gave me a lot of insight in how it feels to live in both countries. I’ve been a nurse and patient in both counties so I also know how it feels to work, live and be a resident in both. \n\nI cannot articulate enough how it has confirmed to me how fortunate I am to be Canadian. The perks to living in the US were very superficial and frivolous things that matter very little in the broad scheme of things,….which I see as more restaurant chains, cheaper restaurant food, more shopping options, etc. As a young person when I lived there,…those things seemed amazing but matter far less as I get older. \n\nWhen I lived there, I paid a fraction of the income taxes that I paid in Canada but it’s only short term gain for long term pain. The cost of health care, the amounts of gov funded benefits (disability, EI, pension, etc) in the US makes it well worth paying taxes to offset these things as in Canada. I have had cancer 3 times in 5 years and I’ve not paid a cent for treatment, scans, surgery, etc in Canada. My employer held my job for 2 years and I received long term disability of 70% of my yearly wages and my employer paid my full pension and benefits as I was off of work. After 2 years, my cancer returned and was deemed incurable so I will continue to receive this pay and benefits until I’m 65 and can retire as I can no longer work. I have no financial worries as I battle cancer. \n\nTo contrast,…my US employer was a world reknowned hospital that had excellent pay and benefits. Had I been working there when I was diagnosed with cancer, I would only have gotten full pay for 6 weeks until my sick time and vacation time was used up. Then I was eligible for a fraction of my income for 3 months, which would not be enough to live on. I would not have had my pension paid. After that, I’d receive no more pay and my employer would hold my job without pay for 6 months and then I’d be let go. My cancer required nearly 2 years off of work so after 5 months of this minimal pay, I’d have no income, no job and no benefits with a new pre existing condition to ensure that I’d have a snowballs chance in hell of getting future coverage. Meanwhile during that 5 months of some pay, I’d still need to pay huge costs of treatment despite having insurance but that would disappear after I was let go from my job. I’d have to return to work during my treatment just to afford to continue it. I have many US friends that had a similar cancer that worked throughout to cover basic cancer care while I was able to recuperate without working or fearing being unable to pay. There is nothing comparable to this when you are sick. It is everything!\n\nSadly, many of my American friends are very ill informed on how health care works in other countries and don’t see the shortcomings in their own. Ironically though, they are willing to argue it without proper information so I often find that bizarre. While lived there I felt as though I was in a bubble where the only news that I saw was US news. I saw no info or minimal about Canada in my whole time there,…aside from falsehoods about health care to scare people away from seeking change. “Canadians are all dying while waiting”, “they are all coming to the US for care”, “they pay 80% income tax” etc. All propaganda,…some from politicians or those that should know better. It was truthfully mind boggling to me how educated people could know so little about the world. It almost felt as though they heard so much propaganda about how terrible other places were while only having knowledge of the US, that it ensured that things would stay the same without anyone wanting beneficial changes to dysfunctional policies (like health care, cost of meds, lack of gun regulations, etc). As soon as you land in Canada, get your information straight. Know why you are here, where you will be staying and for how long. Do not approach the border officers with fear or panic as this video is trying to make you feel.Canada doesn’t just set people aside for deportation at the airport. Once you land in Canada you are protected by Canadian law and international law on immigrants . A visa officer will not warn you of overstaying your visa (if you overstay you won’t be granted visa next time) no officer will tell you that. That’s not their job. People can be set aside for proper screening or scrutiny but that doesn’t mean they are being set aside for deportation. Deportation has a procedure and it’s a costly process even for the Canadian government.These are assumptions. You are exaggerating! Don’t be afraid people, Canada is a beautiful and welcoming country. Information on your application has to match information you give in your questioning. If they don’t match then suspicion is aroused.Even if it doesn’t , they are so many explanations you can give as to why ( stress, airsick,tired, confused ,hungry cus of the long flight) officers will give you time to cool off and come to you later. If it gets to the worst, invoke your rights as an international immigrant and ask for entry to Canada being a safe country as a refugee claimant . Officers can’t deport you if you claim asylum at the border, they have to follow due process and your case must be heard by a judge. Create information, not fear!

Dated a chick in Toronto who was from Romania. She didn’t even get her Canadian citizenship yet. Only having the residency of Canada. I tried to get her to come to America so many times and try to show her that things aren’t as bad as what you’ve probably heard in Romania/ Canada. I even was willing to move over her parents. You should have gone to the Alexandra hotel, it functions as a hotel as well as a place for cheaper living for the homeless I’ve stayed there as a guest visiting Toronto many times and have heard so many different story’s from the homeless that live there now. The park itself (Alexandra park) next to the hotel has many homeless there too. There was a time I went to stay in Toronto for the weekend and couldn’t find anywhere to stay hotels were booked up or too expensive for my budget and one of the people that were living in Alexandra park overheard me when I tried to check in and offered a tent and food it was very welcoming I stayed with them for a few hours but ended up leaving because my ex had seen my story about not having anywhere to stay for the night and busses were done for the way back to Muskoka and got to stay with her. A lot of the homeless I met at the park weren’t addicts just got dealt a bad hand and had nowhere else to go, this was back in 2020. I’ve recently stayed at the Alexandra hotel this past summer for the exhibition and smashing pumpkins concert and it’s just the same as before. Heartbreaking the stories you hear but a very welcoming hotel and great what they do for the less fortunate.
