When you add on the costs to finance that , you are looking at maybe $70 Billion deficit per year very soon. That is unstainable for such a small population. Then the separatists want to ad at least a trillion dollar loan, to leave Canada and service that debt. Where is all this massive wealth the separatist spew? Then she wants to wait another year for the people to tell her what to do about it. She is totally insane. Danielle, the worst Premiere in Alberta's history. Strange how Canada has finally stepped up to order military equipment, military personal, borders in the North and with USA borders putting more man power and technology. Consists of literally sharing its only common border with the united states would mean a complete scrap of the total infrastructure since they would hace then compensate through sea and air through the arctic and distances of 10x of what they are used to. I support Trump and I support MAGA. However a president needs to keep his word and Trump appears to have broken his word here. He asked Canada to reign in illegal immigration to the US and Canada complied. He said do something about fetanyl and Canada did. Trump said the tariff's were because Canada was not acting on these but now they have and we imposed the tariff's anyway. If you think businesses are going to pay for the increased cost of importing and are not going to scale back their labor forces are raise prices you don't have an understanding of business and finance. Any time you are on any kind of team, the teammates you want are ones you can trust, ones that will keep their word. One thing that has made the US strong is the allies we have. He have been able to keep these allies because, in general, we have stuck to agreements we have made with other countries historically. If you have an ally that doesn’t fulfill their end of agreements then they are not much of an allie. If Trump is thinking he can “replace” our current allies and just go become allies with Russia—Russia doesn’t have a good track record on following through on agreements in the last few decades.

I’m a Canadian and no fan of Prime Minister Trudeau. It’s unfortunate the best speech he ever gave was after he resigned as Prime Minister. What he has said in this speech is absolutely true, despite the fact, I think Trump is doing some good things for the USA. This Terrif war with your neighbour is stupid. Unfortunately for us in Canada our Prime Minister has not given us the tools and freedom to grow economically and prosper the way we should have. Canadians should be living like Kings, but unfortunately are living paycheque to paycheque because of the stranglehold that our Prime Minister has put on businesses and its citizens.
