The EU just signed a free trade deal with India which gives Indian 'professionals' the right to reside and work in the EU. It all started the same way in the US, Canada and AUS. Europe will be gone soon as well.

Great news for Canada! India has made major trade deals with the EU and the US. I think Indians won't care about Canada anymore.

It's not the first time Canada has changed. The first was when the Whites from Europe and UK colonized it and killed the first nations, enslaved and indoctrinated their kids into Christianity wiping out their own culture, religion & language. The truth is, the very characteristic that made Canada so loved internationally is being used against us. A country should under NO CIRCUMSTANCE CHANGE THEIR WAYS/CULTURE TO MAKE ANY IMMIGRANT/MIGRANT/ASYLUM SEEKER MORE "COMFORTABLE". Sad to say this but Canada is too "kind" and too liberal for it's own good. They essentially would have a rabid animal gnawing at their leg but would not try to stop it because the animal maybe "scared" or "hungry" or don't want to hurt it's feeling or something. If Canadians do no protect it's values and culture by restricting and massively reducing integration and not hesitating to deport criminal immigrants, the very soul and identity of this beautiful country will be gone FOREVER (some would already say that already happened)!! That's why I respect Poland so much, they said NO to mass migration by way of asylum seekers, regardless of the backlash from the EU, but that's why unlike those other countries that did the mass migration, Poland remains one of if not the safest European country and best of all, KEPT THEIR IDENTITY!!!

I consider myself International( 3ed generation Canadian) because I spent half of my life working in many countries. Canada was always my home until about 15 years ago when I started feeling that thigs are changing in the wrong directions not only the immigration influx but total anti-Christian war, morality, family values, sexualization of children etc etc. its all gone to HELL !! This is not only about money and cheap labor, rather the NEW WORLD ORDER that the Western ELITES have implementing for decades. The same thing that's happening to us Canadians, it's happening to Americans, Britian, France, Spain, Italy, Germany and most of our G20 group because they all agreed to this globalization, and neoliberal policies. Now that my children graduated, I have moved them to an east European country where all my values and beliefs are still intact. I will be leaving Canada soon with a very sad heart, in my mind I will keep the Canada that I once loved. THIS IS ALL PLANNED it's not a mistake !! The countries in EU that don't allow for mass immigrants are being targeted, sanctioned, fined in the billions and are forcing to oust the governments ( Hungary, Slovakia, Poland etc )!! Government wants racial hearted and that's why it allows things that aggravates the Canadians...it's all about control and fear, they want us te fear each other !! If Canadian government wanted a high birth rate than it should have given the money that they spend on new immigrants to Canadian mothers in order to stay home and have more kids. Many countries have birth incentives for more than 2 children, countries that are nowhere economically on the Canadian level. Simply as I said, this is about globalization !!!

The United States is a country of democracy, humanism, human rights and freedoms, a country that has become home to the world of many people who have improved the quality of life of billions of people all over the planet. Question: When will the current US President/poppet of dictatorships be impeached?

Canada is now closer to becoming another EU country than the 51st US state

My husband and I were both immigrants to Canada, he from S. Africa, I from the UK. I never experienced any discrimination. My busband was diagnosed with late stage bone cancer at 31 years old. The medical care was so good that he lived another 6 mostly happy years. We were supported by the Ontario Health Care system with visiting nurses, even housekeepers and received every help we could possibly need, at no cost to us. I will always be grateful for the love and support we received from Canadian friends, employers and the medical professionals. What a country! I am in Europe now but feel strongly that Canada, the EU, Britain, the wonderful Ukrainians (I know quite a few refugees) and other countries of good will should work together for a better world. We are a family and families support each other in difficult times. Americans welcome when they are ready.

You people from XYZ are really like the EU hypocrites that all you got is words. As a Canadian, I hate Trudeau and everything his government has done to the country. I want a PM like Trump that is willing go against the entire system(deep state) and dig out all the dirt even though you're in the way of a lot of powerful people and organizations. Out of all the world leaders today, Trump is the only one with that kind of courage. Compare that to Trudeau—aside from his nice suits and polished public image, what has he actually done to improve the lives of Canadians? \nWe need a DOGE go into WHY WE ARE PAYING SO MUCH TAXES. When I was living in Vancouver, I (and many ppl) would just drive cross the border to get gas and groceries because it's just much cheaper once you're on US soil.... For years we cannot retain any talents because they would just migrate to the states because the pay is much higher with less taxes. I used to live in a bubble thinking that even though life is tough and it's harding to make a living here but at least it's more peaceful here than the States. These tariffs are not about policy differences. They appear to be personal. Trump is settling scores. Many Trump voters believe that Mexico, Canada, Russia, China, Ukraine, and even the EU interfered in the US presidential and congressional elections in 2020, 2022, and in 2024 to help the Democrats strip us Americans of our rights and lock Republicans out of power permanently. It doesn't matter if its actually true or not. It's the perception that matters most and that has the bigger consequence. MAGA and President Trump are responding to the appearance of foreign interference in our elections. That's why he's preparing the shut down the DACA program too because we believe the DACA recipients sought to influence the last 4 elections and MAGA wants to punish all of them for that.

I canceled our familly trip to US because of risks caused by erratic administration that can decide any dumb thing at any time thus jeopardizing our tour and money. One of our son is deeply disapointed but he understood that risk is way too high right now. We will redirect to a EU member state for better security ? Unless the current administration return to business as usual, there is no point into changing mind for the next four years... Way too risky?

Canada has known for decades that we have put too many eggs in one basket - selling our resources primarily to the USA. We've had tariffs before and worked with them. Yet we still keep selling to the USA. This time is different. In conjunction with the tariffs, we have an American administration that is flat out insulting Canada. Saying we wouldn't exist economically if it wasn't for the USA. It's at a time when the USA won't promise not to use military force to annex land (Greenland) from a decades old ally. A time when clearly Putin is calling in his chips for whatever he has over Donald Trump. Canadians have had enough. We are directing our governments, provincial and federal, to finally, finally break from the north-south trade links. We need to establish stronger east-west trade links. The resources we have are wanted by many countries if the USA does not want them. It does mean much work within Canada. We need to get our AB-BC pipeline finished as well as the new sea terminal so we can ship our crude oil and natural gas to Japan and if need be, to China. We finally need to get out pipeline to the Atlantic coast finished so we can supply the UK and EU with our products. We need to double our rail capacity for shipping potash, uranium, rare minerals to Asia or Europe. Just as Trump hopes for a golden age of American companies coming home and building new plants in the USA, this will be a golden decade for Canada to create transportation corridors to get our resources to other buyers. America will have to look elsewhere for his raw materials. And we all know what that is - RUSSIA. They've already offered their rare minerals and crude oil. This is all clearly a well thought out scenario from the people working behind Trump to dismiss America's allies and trading partners - have us turn against the USA - as the excuse to open the door to Russian imports into the USA.

The leader of Ukraine was deposed by the EU and US when he rightly chose to strengthen ties with Russia and not to join the EU. He could see through the reality that those wanting to join the EU were young and looking to leave Ukraine whilst the older population relied on the cheap discounted fuel provided by Russia. It was quite common knowledge that the EU was after the resources of Ukraine. The difference between then and now is that Trump is doing exactly the same but told Ukraine exactly what he wants... Ukraine's resources.
